There's a lot of media these days that has the release date 'its ready when its ready' and i think thats for the best, especially with MCR. Conventional Weapons was good and has some of favorite songs, but they're EPs for a reason, they could have been so much better with time had the band not gone on hiatus. I'd bet G and the band want to make something new, not the same thing they've done in the past. Conventional Weapons was very Bullets/Revenge, but there are moments in it that seeded the very different Danger Days. At the first WWWYF G talked about how he doesnt want to be like other bands, playing their hits for the foreseeable future. This year, the resurrection of TBP to be played in its entirety at WWWY after laying it to rest all those years ago suggests to me something is up, because this isnt a setlist G would be on board with given how important the stories and meanings behind stuff is to him. I thought five would come a couple years ago. If it isnt announced this year, then I'll be happy to keep waiting. Because what the band has already given us is more than I could have ever hoped for.
