It does not work 100% of the time. I bought my mouse 3 days ago and I noticed that the thumb buttons (both left or right side) do not register sometimes. It's very strange. Sometimes you have to spam them for them to work in-game, sometimes you have to give up and give the software a look over. One thing's for sure, you google this problem and it's been a very common problem since launch. The consensus usually is that it's a software-wireless issue. I haven't tested it wired because I don't care for it, I got it for wireless and I will struggle with it a bit longer to find out the solution.
I have a fk1+ and i want to change to g900. But i already had the fk2 and I found it very small. Do u find the size similar? Fk2 and g900. Sorry my bad english.
I have the same mouse since May, one of the first reviews I saw was yours (I subscribed back then). Great to see this new video about it. Keep on the good work.
I have the G502 from Logitech, I really can't live without the freeroll feature anymore. It's really practical. The latency is really good but I had one problem with it. My right mouse button clicked twice everytime I pressed it. This happened after 1 year of use I'd say. It kind of annoyed me and I searched for a fix.Just want to tell you that if this happens to you, you can just open the mouse(should be possible on G900 too) find the click thingy ( a small box) open it and bend the tiny metal in there.(TH-cam tutorials ftw) That way I made my mouse fully functional again.
I have been using a Corsair M65 from 2014 for gaming ever since then, but I added a Logitech MX Master (a few days before the new one came one) in May of last year. I love wireless, but I can’t play League with my MX with the DPI and latency. This video sorta helped seal my idea that I want to add the new Logitech G903 to replace my trusty M65
Thanks for your review, it’s the best one I could find. I don’t know if you’ve ever used a g502 or a mouse like it, but if you have, would you say this is better than a g502? I’m looking to upgrade to this mouse from a g502.
This is EXACTLY the review I needed to push me into buying this mouse. Although I don't game, many years ago I bought a wired gaming mouse because they have better sensors than "normal" mice, the extra buttons are extremely helpful for creativity, and because it looks cool. After many years of hard work, my Corsair M60 is ready to retire, and this seems like the perfect replacement. Thanks for this great review. It's great to know how -well- perfectly the mouse has held up over the course of a year.
after watching few video this mouse is quite decent.. does this mouse allow to use both side key simultaneously? if so that will be interesting 6 button workhorse also i found someone sell this for $38 (used) condition were ok, but only thing worn is logi sticker below sensor think it worth for buying? not going to do crazy thing with this just using it mostly for 90% productivity since this mouse able to charge it directly and of course battery life quite good
Funny, my G900 started having a creaking scroll wheel not even a month into ownership.. then a year later I noticed the buttons would stop registering when holding them down. RMA'd to get a G903 and it immediately has a horribly lose scroll wheel which mis-scrolls constantly ONTOP OF HAVING THE SAME BUTTON DEPRESS ISSUES. I now believe there's a design flaw with these mice, or there is severe build quality/QC issues at Logitech to the point you can get two defective $150 mice in a row. Either way this is unacceptable, as is Logitech's awful customer support and RMA process.
good for big hands? seriously considering. I'm super picky and been using a Glorious model O and i feel like an old man switching to something larger, heavier and more comfortable but i'm thinkin this is the one!
Wow, I've had mine for about 4 years now and I was looking to see if there was anything new and improved out there. I too have had no issues at all and after watching this I think I'll just continue to stick with it. Still works fine 👍😁🍻
I love mine and went to buy one for a family member, yet on logitechs website its on backorder for $250, and I bought mine for $115. Why is the G903 not more and the G900 much less?
right click on my G900 now stop working sometimes. got mine 2 years now :( Time for a new mouse, not gonna pay so much for a mouse again when it dont laster longer than any other mouse i have had.
Thank you for covering all the points related to a mouse issue , great video Actually i am using G 903 for a quite time now and it is absolutely brilliant mouse . I am not a gamer but it is a fun using a reliable gaming mouse for productivity. 👌👍 for you and logitech .
I 100% agree with him. Ive owned this Mouse over a year now. I have HARDWOOD FLOORS :) . You know how many times this thing has bounced off the floor? It has lost two buttons on the left, but has NEVER once failed to be there, all the time, 100% of the time. AMAZING PRODUCT.. 5 Stars
Joshua Valour ohhh no wonder I’m not liking this mouse. Everyone I see on TH-cam who enjoys it doesn’t palm the mouse like I prefer to, you guys all claw grip it... I’m finding it difficult to enjoy this mouse as I’m not use to claw grip. Possible at all for you to make a video on how claw grip works specifically with this mouse? and would claw grip lead to greater risk of carpel tunnel & or wrist injury?
They need to stipple the mouse body because its very slippery. I also had to purchase stickon textures for the buttons because my hand was sliding around too much. I have had mine for a year and its been great. The other thing i did that logitech should do it integrate the usb hub into the case so you can just leave it inside the case and plug the wire into it when not charging the mouse.
I've had mine since shortly after the mouse was released back in april of 2016, for the past few years I have been putting anywhere from 2 to 4 times the use on it per day than you mentioned, and yet everything you said still hold true. APEX mouse, still top of the game for me
I tried a Logitech MX Master and was really disappointed- heavy and latency. Been using an old G400 for ages and that is a fantastic mouse for gaming and productivity. Maybe I’ll check out the G900 when I upgrade/sidegrade. Pro tip: for professional apps use a Wacom. They are essential for retouching but also using a pen is more ergonomic than a mouse. I end up using a Wacom for almost everything except gaming now. Also it helps reduce repetitive stress by switching between the two input types (mouse/pen).
great video i hate it when people review a mouse and dont put it through tests they just go oh hey it works it clicks this is a great mouse they are saying it works you say what it is not if it works or not u say if its godlike or would rather use your neighbors cat as a mouse (ps i love that u dont ask for likes u ask people to rate the vid honestly)
Yeah, the mouse is great, with the exception of the software: Logitech Gaming Software, Logitech's support, and reliability in regards to the pivot system and scroll wheel.
A well voiced re-review. You have too few likes for a sceptics perspective on this mouse. Good job. Now review the Roccat Kone Aimo and Razer Mamba Elite! :)
Not anymore it seems, but he went in as one. He literally said it at 0:55. Besides that he weighs pro's and cons thoughtfully and that is what makes a good sceptic in my opinion.
I have also a Logitech g900 brilliant mouse. Had before Razer Mamba,Deathadder (2x Deathadder is good mouse) ,Steelseries Sensei,Logitech mx518,G5 etc... This is the best,im just searching new mouse pad. Now i have Razer firefly (its bad with g900), logitech G240 (also not good with g900) il try to buy QCK+ or G440 from Logitech. Would also recomment everyone G900 from Logitech. 5+
Don't know if you found a good mousepad for the g900 yet, but the logitech software has mousepad calibration that can most likely fix the performance on the Firefly, and g240, and would also save you some money in the long run.
Man, you definitely deserve more subs (and views). :D
The review really helped me. Thank you for talking about everything about this mouse.

Fuck you, I wanna look at this hotness. What a man

Just buy it guys. I previously owned a Zowie Fk2, switched to a G900. I got it about a month ago on a sale, best choice I ever made.
I have a fk1+ and i want to change to g900. But i already had the fk2 and I found it very small.

Eh nowdayas youre better off buying a g703 hero or a g pro wireless
Or a Viper Ultimate
@@jayjaygolden5123 unless you want more buttons g903 is best
@@jayjaygolden5123 G403 hero is literally the g703
I thought my G900 was broken when I drag around and the mouse didn’t move. Then I realized my darn sister took out the USB. XD
Lmao
best mouse of my life.
Perfect video.
But why is your mouse so dirty?
The gap between the middle buttons and the mouse shell tends to accumulate dust, just like mine
I have the same mouse since May, one of the first reviews I saw was yours (I subscribed back then). Great to see this new video about it. Keep on the good work.
I bought mine brand new in 2016 for the wireless as a mouse for laptop and desktop setting, its still goin strong almost 7 years later…
I set the side buttons on mine to volume and walked down my street and had my friend tell me if the volume was changing and it went for like 3 blocks

You are not supposed to scroll when you switch your weapons
Are you sure you didn't buy a Chinese fake ?
U probably didn't ever clean it throughly, often and it was poorly used by you so don't blame the mouse.
My G903 miss fires like a mother ^%$^$. The left and right clicks end up double firing on me after 4 months of game play.
take out the batteries and click the buttons 30+ times, reset the batteries and it should be normal again
Exact same issue what a waste of money
