Not boring. Fascinating. I dont want to learn licks. I want to sound like me and to do that I need to learn how to think on the instrument. These insightful vids show a way to do that. This is music before ego. There is simply the music within, and the battle to get it out. Thanks Jedd.

Mr Jedd, What you get out of those seemingly simple chords is really rich. And if someone is bored, well, maybe so, , but there are a bazillion other channels to choose from. We are here because you are a top-flight musician just honestly sharing your craft and a bit of that life. That seems pretty interesting to me.

The acoustic guitar is such a humbling instrument for the guitar player. It's all you and what comes out of your hands is personal when you let yourself just explore and create stuff off the cuff. You my friend are a master of this ... peace out Jedd and my two cents on the acoustic search is you all ready have it, it's a worthy instrument of a player of your talent.

Buko once called you the Original Julian Lage.
While the touch and approach might be in the same ballpark, your melodies and emoting is something else.
Please concider doing an instrumental album : just, just you and the guitar.
    No drums.
    No bass.
    No fancy soundscapes.
    No doubling.
    No singing.
Just you, doing what you did in this intro and have done in many intros.
That, tracked and mixed perfectly, i would buy and enjoy imensly.
    Just a thought.
And in addition to your usual songwriting albums of course, wich I love.

The right Collings guitar could knock your socks off; even the D2H, but the SJ, CJ, maybe the CJ35, there are a bunch. I’ve played a couple of The Clarence White models that were unbelievable. Look for the German spruce tops; they have that something extra you just might like.

Boring? Jedd, as you gain more and more subscribers, you will (unfortunately) gain a few "sewers of doubt" or "dream crushers". They are deeply unhappy people (for whatever reason), and they choose to spread their misery to make themselves feel better about their own failed existence. Don't take their negativity to heart, and don't let it mess with your head. You're doing just fine.
I don't consider your videos "low quality" or "low budget". Are your videos fancy? Nope! But I don't need fancy. You're an authentic dude, sharing stories about your experiences as a working musician and playing some sweet tunes for us to enjoy... All for free! Who could complain about that?! Just keep doing what you're doing.

Thanks, Jedd. Someone was bored? HA! It sounds like you have a lot of attack and a full-body tone on the acoustic, but I don't think you are picking that hard with your fingers, if that makes any sense. I often over-do it on the attack, even on electric. Trying to soften things up, so that it doesn't sound as harsh.
