West is a beaut. Hollywood is a favorite on that. I loved the live one you did with Uncle Larry. Genevieve is another great one. So good. Thanks for playing it, Jedd.
Your Tele cane out great. I am still waiting on small parts for mine, I want to completely assemble it before I move on to painting it and finishing the neck.
Expensive chords you were using up on us. Beautiful. Record it just like this. No studio ruining your perfect playing. I love a good intro. Nobody puts an intro in their album. Have to come to YT for the real versions.
Hi Jedd! That's a lovely acoustic song man and that '57 00 is sweet sounding. Best of luck getting solid sleep for the next short while and thanks, as always, for posting these videos.
Hey Jedd, ramble on! Doesn't take much to get me talking gear! LOL The Tele is looking great! There's a lot of satisfaction in building your own guitar! About 7 years ago I was watching a Merle tribute, all 3 of his son's were there. The youngest one was playing Merle's early 50's Tele! It was severely road worn, no scratch plate, writing all over it, numerous bumps bruises, and it sounded great! LOL I bought 2- Tele 1 pc solid Ohio Pine bodies. 2- sets of Twisted Tele pups, and all the hardware. I had 2 necks made at Warmoth. 50's V, medium thick, old construction. Then I had a bunch of problems. So the bodies have been drying since. I'm starting to get back at it now a little. Good luck and I'll catch ya soon!! 8) --gary
Right on Gary, best of luck with those mate, sounds like you have a great recipe! Fun stuff putting them together. I love putting a record on and chipping away at em
Really enjoy this segment, Jedd. Beautiful sounds, beautiful song, and gear talk to cap it off. Chomping at the bit to hear the chopper plugged in - you’ve put together one resonant solid body guitar, my man - she’s a real winner!
Very nice friend! That Tele is killer! I heard Uncle Larry saying something about a horseshoe bigsby his wanting to try on one of his. You may have gotten his "chopper" wheels turning. 😂
Looking forward to hearing that tele when you get a chance to make a video about it. Looks like you have your hands full for sure! Good tip about setting the Bigsby back, I’ll have to keep that in mind.
Thanks Jedd for the vid and taking time out of your day for it ! It’s so refreshing to see folks like you being real and opening up your home and heart for all to witness, it’s a great thing now a days to connect with real people doing life and being honest and genuine! The Tele looks killer brother and very interesting pick up combination! Will be awesome to hear when you finish her. Oh and that song in the start of your vid really needs to be recorded and released man , it’s beautiful… anyway hope your year is blessed and busy . Take care mate 👍😎
Hey Jedd, you can put a penny or maybe a nickel, (not sure about USD) under the spring in the bigsby to change its feel! Maybe easier than finding a stiffer spring. Cheers!
You seem a bit lonely and melancholy brother. Us creative/feeler types will go through that every now and again. Hope things turn for you soin. Prayers til then!
I just bought two Greco LPs. A '73 and a '77. Got the '73 in yesterday. Liking it so far. Pickups surprised me. Not sure which ones are in the '73 but the '77 has the u-1000s in it. Still waiting for it. Couldn't find a deal on a Super Real but it's on my list. Curious if you ever played a Greco tele?
@@JeddHughesOfficial the '77 came in and wow. Quick string change and intonated. Legit. Way better than i was expecting. Haven't played a Greco made tele yet either but now after going back and checking out your tele....i wanna build one too now 😑. Looked around but man i've never built (assembled) one and i can't figure out where i need to source body/neck from on the cheap without getting burned. Any tips?
Het Jedd, that tune sounds beautiful. What model acoustic is that? I have an HD28, which I love, but I’ve been thinking of getting an OM lately. That thing sounds lovely in your hands.
Hi Jed. Love that chopper. I’ve been looking for a bridge like that to put a Bigsby on my tele. Did you say it’s a Woodside bridge? Thanks, man. Love your vibe.
@@JeddHughesOfficial the nut, it looked like slots have scallops between them, was suspecting it was for the Bigsby, scalloped nuts, something ya see on Flamenco guitars. Maybe it's my imagination seeing such, haha!
Hey does anyone know what string brand and gauge Jedd has for his acoustic in this vid The tone is sublime! I know it’s his hands but just makes it look so effortless. I have 13-56 and can’t get it to move that freely 😂
Personally I cannot play a guitar off the rack things have to be done. Well that's the way it used to be anyway. it took Fender a long time to catch up with the innovators they are always slow about everything.. a 70s Stratocaster was not playable that's where I cut my teeth. It took hammers files drills screwdrivers just to get them to play right. If the guitar doesn't feel right then it's useless
Haha I've always said why alter your playing to the guitar just alter the guitar. That's one reason why I never bought real expensive guitars. If it's in my position no matter how much it costs eventually I will break out the tools
Genevieve is amazing, if you find the time to release the song we’d all be too lucky.
Exceptionally good song. Love what you do Jedd. Your melancholy sound is intoxicating.
Thanks so much! that means a lot to me
West is a beaut. Hollywood is a favorite on that. I loved the live one you did with Uncle Larry. Genevieve is another great one. So good. Thanks for playing it, Jedd.
Thanks mate
I remember you playing this in Tamworth years ago mate… love this song so much!
Hey mate! How are ya! man you have a good memory!
Sweet song Jedd. Digging the Chopper, can't wait to here it!
Thanks Dave!

Haha thanks David, my inner nerd had to have it for 8bux shipped.
What a great video have a wonderful day ❤😊
thanks so much!

Cute pups, firebird pickups are the best. Enjoy your next project!
I have that same Jim Morrison poster. Got it from my dad who's had it since he was a teenager.
Right on! I need to get it setup with a black light for the full effect!
Love that song! Beautiful, been listening to you since Crossroads in 07’
Wow!! That was the first time I saw Jeff Beck RIP. Absolutely changed my brain. Thanks for the support mate!
what a tune, simply beautiful
Thank you so much
" I can hear you knockin on my door" can't get that song out of my head.
Killer tune Jedd. There’s something about you with just an acoustic and vocals, so sublime.
Thanks so much! It always comes back to that for me.
Nice chopper, Jed! Nothing more satisfying than playing a guitar live that you put together. Same with amplifiers. Cheers!
Got one of those cookin too! Tweed princeton/White amp coming down the pike

you'd build it cause you'd never find one like that -- very cool!
Excellent score on the picks. I came across those during covid.
Love 'em. Great tune you played there. Peace!
Cheers!
You write songs I always wanted to. I am glad someone got them out. You are an amazing talent. I hope I can catch you live one day.
Thanks Joseph
Love your polyphonic combinations...❤
Wow, loved the chord movements in the song. Really clever and original. Great song
Man Jedd…what a GREAT song. Already stuck in my head. And this is weird, but I just discovered those exact same Primetone picks recently!
Right on! Thanks mate
“I Wish You Were Here” is one of my fav’s, please please please do it Jedd👍👍
Very nice Jedd! Thanks for the share!
Beautiful song. Really look forward to hearing the chopper ❤
Great song, that Martin sounds magical in your hands. I'd love to take it off your hands but I'm sure I can't afford it 😆
Cool guitar. Please do a follow up so we can hear it. Love your channel bro.
Man that acoustic sounds great!
I’ve been using those picks for a little while and I think they’re wonderful. A nice divination from the standard Fender Medium’s. Cute pups btw!
The song is so great! I had to go through a bunch of your videos to find it again.
That tele rocks man, as do all the tunes. Thanks for sharing!

Cool vid jedd. You got me with the opening track and sealed the deal with a guitar chop and puppies. Peace always to you sir.
haha cheers mate!
You got soul, man. Besides the chops.
I use the Dunlop yellows, love them
Cool song brother!!
Damn Jedd. That song is a real gem....

Love this tune. You have something special Jedd, keep em coming.
Thank you so much mate
Genevieve is cool mate. Looking forward to hearing the new versions of those songs!
Looking forward to hearing the Tele. Don’t suppose you can crank a tweed deluxe at home, best get yourself a UA ox box Jedd!
I’ve got a little supro to get the dogs howlin tmrw! ha
That was a cool tune there, Jeff!

Dog tired literally and directly! ha thanks mate, I’ll get some good sleep next week
Cool dogs and guitar. Where did you buy the mahogany tele body Jedd?
Woodtech mate, found it on Reverb
@@JeddHughesOfficial thank you Jedd, great song as well
From a sweet song, to dogs, to picks. Awesome. I believe those picks are called Primetones. They are great! Was there a Genevieve you wrote about?

Waterslide is the company mate, works great
Thanks, Jedd. Sorry ‘bout the misspell, musta been in drop d 😉.
Is the nut on the Tele scalloped or something you improved yourself? Thanks!
do you mean the bridge mate? Its by Waterslide

Ah gotchya, no thats my shoddy workmanship cause I couldn’t find my proper nut files, I have a new one coming! ha
What are you doing with the puppies? Are you going to keep any? Maybe Woody?
Very pretty Jedd
Genevieve is great Jedd.
Thanks Ian
amazing man 🔥

Use these bro'. D'Addario EXP16. You'll love 'em.
D’Addario 12-53 set mate, I played 13-56 for years and I love the big sound but they were killing me on long gigs
@@JeddHughesOfficial thanks Jedd. Appreciate you, your music, and kindness 🤠

Aussie shepherd/Blue Heeler/black lab 35-40pounds we think

man that chopper is acoustically loud !
Morning Jed. I was just watching an old Home Skoolin episode. (#3 ?) Tom was pretty low key. Not nearly as animated as he is now.
Dude that picture behind you is distracting in a bad way all else I like though good voice and picking
The Wizard! Sorry Cathy
Very nice. I'd love that Martin, I couldn't afford it.
