SERIOUSLY. This guy is a noob and has no understanding of builds. That Jah Rune (which does nothing but increase hit chance) is totally useless with max Penetrate AND Fanaticism aura. He already had max chance to hit. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
This build needs tweaking. It doesn't even follow some basic multi-zon rules like not maxing multi-shot and using magic arrow. And Jah on the bow whether you can afford it or not is completely not worth. Both in price and the hit rate you actually get out of it I don't mean to just bash. There is a wealth of class specific knowledge in D2 that very, very few people are well versed in
I’ve always made a steafer. I just have always loved the play style and I can farm some specific areas where people never go. Once you learn to wok around the lock and other small quirks(e.g. positioning both u and mobs) it’s so fun and when you get super high IAS it does some really awesome things.
Try this build with a delirium runeword helm. It'll proc the confuse curse so often that most of the time nothing will even get close to attacking you.
@@sheddingskin20121 that is also an option but I personally used an act 2 Merc (with might aura and pride weapon). I used a V.gaze to get him enough life steal to stay alive. So I used the delirium on myself. I also used a faith bow to have all 3 aura's that increase damage. Never compared with the build shown here but I suppose there went enough research in this vid so that this is the optimal setup. Just saying what I used and that the confuse curse was super helpful
Im currently running a javazon but on planing on switching to a bowazon i just made a faith and also found a windforce only problem is i don't have a Lo to make a fortitude. So im waiting and also dont have pride so im not sure how much that would hurt me not having pride on my merc.
@@sheddingskin20121 duress runeword might be a sub par place holder untill you can make a fortitude. Pride us honestly a very expensive runeword... So if you can make a faith and have a WF aswell it might be best to just go with the build shown in this vid and use an act 1 Merc. I don't know how fast she attacks and how much she will proc the curse. I have seen YT vids of the helm being used on an A2 Merc and he seems to proc it fairly often.
@@Filopo69 once the skill gets too high its shoots half the arrows on the sides and like 3 down the mid. but at 12-16 arrows it shoots a much tighter cone that usually hits where you expect it too more. plus mana
Thanks for the video!! Have the exact same setup in solo bowazon. Dual wisp is a great idea. On the fire bow merc I use a flickering flame, so no need to worry about fire res and hustle armor. She is a tincy bit slow for my Bowie n hence the hustle! The fanatism aura is not on all the time n that fixes it when running around. I like Andy+15 jewel( wish I could find a 15-40 sometime). Amulet I like the atma! Decoy idea will try ;-) Thanks a lot for the video!
I have a suggestion. Putting [Steel Pillar] unique war pike on off hand, and 1 point in Jab. For Baal, just switch to off hand, and jab. With your IAS and points in passive and magic, it should be pretty quick. Or a runeword weapon with high elemental damage for physical immune with stone skin mod.
I am curremtly at 150% ias with my windforce and I love the combintion of multi-shots then finish the with strafe once the group has been narrowed down. Also the knockback from windforce is crazy with strafe and very handy when your merc gets surrounded by very fast death lords and hilarious to watch monsters going flying off the screen!
@@STOUTIM0US You have to ditch fortitude and use a 60% IAS armour. From there though, it's not too hard, but I would still recommend WF + faith merc over this setup.
So, this was my main back in the day and I got damn good by grinding it out in BM duels with trash gear and playing opposite all them burizon DR builds as the glass cannon. But I opted for dodging and amping dex instead of health and found the interrupts managable but it does depend on your playstyle. Goldstrike arch is a good budget option, like, surprisingly good especially for Chaos Runs. The IAS and damage to demons and undead make it 'effective enough' with FOTH going off for a solid bonus effect. I ran Mav's bow/Sight for a while until I found an Eaglehorn (also effective enough). I say all this as a 'yes and' not as a correction; mostly just wanted to compliment the gear choices.
I prefer to max strafe (shael'd WF), as there's no real need to max multishot (13-15 with all skills is just fine). Another idea I like is to keep vit low and just put most stats into dex for more dmg. The evades, CTA, and lvl 17 valk help survive with about 1200 life. I use highlords so I don't have to max crit strike, and use razortail so I don't have to max out pierce. Guided arrow maxing is pretty mandatory imo. I like might merc with reaper's toll for decrep (or use atmas for curse, like in cows). I just love how there are different ways to play bowazon. It's one of the 3 most fun classes to play I think!
When I played D2 back in the day, I had a strafe bowazon with a buriza. I know it wasn't the best build but I always loved the gameplay of strafe much better than multishot. I'd be real curious to see how they compare, so I hope you do that video! Thanks for making such great vids, I really appreciate the work you do
Strafe is far superior in certain circumstances. The main difference is every arrow fired from strafe has a chance to proc deadly strike and criticle strike, where multi shot only has the chance to proc with the single arrow in the center. I like this dudes videos but he is a total noob, lol.
Yeah that's really the fun part about this game. Making creative builds that are viable rather than just making cookie cutter builds. I made a Summoner Druid and while slow leveling at first I have some decent gear and can complete Hell easily now!
@@Jjvblack88 Not to forget, every arrow from Strafe can Pierce and cause those procs like Critical strike, Deadly Strike, Open Wounds, Crushing Blow and you're not burning arrows like a madman like when you're using Multishot. I would also try to get a "Giant Skull" with 2 sockets, to put 2x 40/15 jewels in them giving you 10% extra Crushing Blow and knockback which is a huge life saver. (Faith is missing the knockback, that Windforce has) Duress armor is also better then a Fortitude, because of the Crushing Blow, Open wounds and 40% FHR beating the flat 300% dmg increase.
That's the least of this builds problems. Jah Windforce is literally useless. Ignore Target's Defense just increases hit chance. He already has max hit chance with maxing Penetrate AND Fanaticism aura on top of it. 🤦♂️
@@k3Ck6969 you arent wrong. I just stopped watching there. The minute anyone says max muiltishot I check out. Hell I dont even put points into it until all gear is equipped to make sure I dont get extra points in it.
@@michaelt779 yeah the other was the "invincible" lf javazone. I tried it out just to see if its legit and i used the same exact items and skills and attribute and it wasnt not near godly how he is trying to sell us. His builds are quite shitty and i think he is manipulating some parts of the vids to let us think that the build are godly. But if you dont believe me just try it out one youself and than we talk again
I used to use Max guided, Max multi and then get an inv with tons of psn dmg small charms typically would have no problem with anything in hell, guided for single target
Having lacerator on weaponswap for amp damage works wonders for this type of build. I would also consider maxing out valkyrie instead of decoy and using strafe. With knockback and full pierce, plus using valkyrie and decoy to draw enemy fire, you are basically untouchable and can line up enemies so your strafe arrows pierce through the entire pack that you're fighting.
@@playerst2287 I guess it works but something to consider: WWS has a lower chance to proc amp damage (2%) than Atma's scarab (5%), during which you'll be outputting much lower damage with WWS while waiting for amp to proc. With WF, you should be able to use atma's ammy and still shoot at max attack speed.
ive always loved this build. such a fun class to play. javazon is another favorite of mine, especially for cows because theres not too many lightning immunes in there. would you make another video of the bowazon clearing the cow level?
Side note here, anybody know if the Revive charges work on the harmony bow? I made one and I'm playing on console and It's bugged I think. The skill is red and cannot be used. I assigned it and all that. Does it work on PC or has this been a known bug?
@@cotasa okay, that's kind dumb. I could see why that would be if Revive didn't have a duration attached to it, but that 180 seconds isn't long and not worth 40k q charge. I guess armor sells for 30-35k a piece but still....
Love your videos man! Keep it coming. Also just a gentle bit of logical side notary. Chaos runs...Lord De Seis. How do you say six in Spanish? How many minions does he have? Thank you for your consideration :-)
90% OK. This is what I use. But with some changes. 1sr. Magic arrow lv 20 is a must. You can kill any inmune very easy and the arraw goes through (not like guided arrow), so in parts like maggot lair is a blast. 2nd. I prefer to "loose" a bit with those evade points in order to get lv20 valkiry. She es a tank. You can get point from for instance penetrate or critical which have diminishing returns (lv 10 is 60%, lv 20 is 68%. Too close for 10 points). More points in dexterity is useful for dmg and a.r. . And I'm using might mercenary (which is 4 free) and get 6k dmg. With a pride in mind (to get to the 8k goal)
I hunted for the winforce for a month specifically. Which is never a good idea to focus on one thing. One night I did 40 pit runs. I got so burnt out. I logged off. Then I thought, I'll do one more b4 I go to the gym just incase. Boom. when I saw that hydra bow drop with the unique lettering I was stoked. In 20 years of this game, on and off I finally got one lol
I feel like giving a faith to your merc is such a waste. I’m rocking bowazon in d2r. And i decided to wing it and made a faith in a gmb for myself, it rolled 14. This thing is crazy. And it spawns skeletons all over the place. No need for decoy or valk, i also have fortitude. My merc is act 2 with might and a reapers toll, phys immunes are no problem at all anymore, pared with magic arrow they die in an instant. I also feel like the +3 bow skills +2 all from the bow is super strong. This means I can put points elsewhere
Imo the best possible muli-strafe bowazon is faith in gmb for you and might merc with pride ,wrath on switch for decrepify(dmg boost ofc and more importantly breaking phys imunes) ,probably much more expensive setup on already quite expensive build and theres no room for any gear variations, all has to be with much possible ias(like your helm-circlet has to be 45ias among other things).Only important dmg boostiing piece of gear withou ias is fortitude.
What are your thoughts on Might Emilio with Reapers Toll over the Fanatism Aura? Decrepify + might is pretty huge dmg and breaks phys immunes but there is no AS bonus.
I think act 2 merc with pride and might is the best for this build, also your ama should equip faith so you both get benefits. And btw decoy is useless, max magic arrow to deal with immunity is way better.
Barb merc with a lawbringer and treachery armour should deal with physical immune easy. Plus with the sanctuary aura, dangerous enemies like gloams, oblivion knights and Stygian dolls will be knocked back. Making Chaos Sanctuary and Nightmare and Hell WS keep and ice caves a breeze. For the early to mid game, a decent rare sword with %chance to cast amp damage or the vile husk should do the trick. Maxing out Valkyrie and Decoy grants you two summonable meat shields instead of one. A fully maxed out Valkyrie has 4k+ health
Nice video man, I use a similar build on my bowazon but with Gface as helmet socketed with a 30ed 15 ias jewel, (and highlords). I lose a frame but the killing speed is faster, especially on bosses. you need higher crushing blow, also magic arrow maxed kills physical immunes very quick
Keep in mind that with multishot, CB only triggers on the middle 2 arrows and the damage is 1/8 of current monster life. If you can make/afford a +45max damage/45ias circlet, that should boost DPS more than gface.
I find it hilarious that a bunch of the people disliking and complaining in the comments are people that are mad that it is expensive. Like dude, you clicked on a video titled *"Godly Multishot Decoy Bowazon"* did you really think it was just gonna cost an EL rune and 250 gold? Godly builds don't just fall out of the sky. They're godly because they have good gear lol... To the Author: Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I'll be sure to leave a like for you. Hopefully we can counteract all the salty people disliking the video.
I think a lot of people dislike it because it's a dishonest title, it's not a godly build, I had a better one which I sold 2 days ago... the damage is just awful.
Did you know the IAS breakpoints are bugged and you can go past the normal caps. This means stacking the maximum IAS is actually super useful. Also I know you don't run the right merc but faithbow merc is barley needed to get this build going. reapers toll applies decrepify which will break phys immunes like infector that you had.
I'm kind of curious what kind of damage one would be able to reach by running faith on the Amazons bow for herself along with an act 2 mercenary with an inherent might aura along with the pride runeword on his weapon for concentration. Three sources of plus damage, and if it was lacking one attack rating you could always go with blessed aim for the mercenary instead of might.
With all optimal gear and a huge focus on DPS, you can get a 10k guided arrow with a Grand Matron Bow. This is with really expensive gear and fully decked out charms though. If you're self wielding Faith, you don't need extra attack rating.
The more off weapon ed you get the better Windforce is compared to faith. Concentration+might+forty + >500 dex. The ed of fanatism does not bring much extra damage. The Windforce with it's high weapon damage is way stronger
@@benjaminmelcher6685 Windforce does benefit more from each % of ED than Faith does, and Windforce + A2 merc combo does have a higher listed *damage* on the character screen than a Faith build, but the Windforce setup will lack the attack speed and therefore *damage per second* (DPS). A Windforce + A2 merc setup can only reach 9fpa setup with Fortitude, and a 8fpa setup with a 160/60 armour. So, from a *damage per second* perspective, Faith is better than Windforce with optimal gear and charms.
@@SatoshiPayneOfficial yes faith is faster but you have to get to the 7frames with faith to compete with WF. That's 92ias. You get 40 from loh and hl that's 52 missing. You can get 45 via the helmet, that's not enough so you need to swap either Forti or razor.A sup GMB faith has about 300max damage. A WF with a 40/15 jewel close to 600. WF needs 89ias. That's 35 from the Windforce 40 from loh and hl so you need only 15 from the helmet. I don't see how faith can outdamage a WF in a physical build. Element build goes to faith of course.
@@benjaminmelcher6685 There's 2 options for this, one you've suggested: 1) Faith GMB: you can get 95% IAS for 7fpa, and although it requires switching out razortail for noscoil, this is not too hard to do and it's worth it even though you lose 10% pierce (you can max pierce skill to ~90%) and some dex. The life steal you get from noscoil allows you to use a mana steal ring with more damage than a dual leech ring, and the +strength offsets some of the dex loss. 2) Faith Diamond bow: you can get 65% IAS for 7fpa, and still use razortail and atma's scarab. Not as much raw damage as GMB, but has 100% pierce and allows amp damage proc with DPS still comparable to the WF setup. Once you consider charms (8x 14max damage charms and some 3max damage small charms), war travs, using 3x 15max/15ias jewels in the circlet instead of 40ed/15ias jewels and the fact that faith bows have a better min damage than WF and WF's full damage potential is only realised at level 99, the math works out that faith does more DPS than WF... and also has better chance to hit, resists, damage to undead and chance to raise skeletons.
In theory, yes - but act 2 merc with reapers toll doesn’t work well with this build bc youre constantly knocking back enemies and the merc rarely ends up attacking anything unless it’s a physical immune or an act boss. Pride pollarm with a might merc and faith is real nice though
@@brett4932 You don't really need knockback if you have an act 2 merc tanking for you, you also have decoy if need. Not to mention with pride, might merc and faith, your dmg is way higher than the setup in this video, most trash mobs will die before they reach you.
@@skychaos87 sure - but that’s on players one. Once you get up at P5+ you need knock back and unfortunately the bowazon really begins to struggle up there because the damage output just doesn’t scale well like true caster classes and some of the really powerful melee builds. On players 1 you can make any mediocre build look great. Would have been nice if they buffed base damage on bows with D2R.
if you shoot something point blank with multishot is it hitting the target with 30 arrows doing 30 arrows worth of damage or is it just one arrows worth? so the closer you are the more damage like a shotgun?
If i may i would add some things. Multiple shot doesnt leech from all arrows. only one arrow leeches, the one in the middle. For helm, mavina is a complete waste. 3 socket tiara of speed 30frw with 40ed/15ias jewels, 2 socket coa, 2os giant skull, gface are all miles ahead of mavina. Thirdly, if u invest 20 points in decoy max valk too, he gets 20% life bonus from every hard point in decoy. Without valk u cant beat all content (ubers), finally passives are a must.
You don’t run past physical immunes you use magic arrow. You have more than enough points to max it as a bowazon. Decoy isn’t necessary to take to 20 either is penetrate when maxing your damage with dexterity. Also I don’t understand why you didn’t get Valkyrie and gore rides…. Dude war travelers all day 15-25 base damage is HUGE.
Fully agree. I did a check in hero editor. Lv12 penetrate (which is like a few points with all other bonuses to skills) is enough to get 90% hitrate on lv 85 with 2k defense. Should be plenty. How many points did you put in Vitality? I guess some are needed not to get killed by random nova explosion xD
@@Filopo69 0 points in vitality. Drop the harmony bow for a cta/spirit on swap to get 1k hp. All points into dex after hitting strength requirements. The goal should be to clear the screen without anything even getting remotely close enough to touch you. Armor should be fortitude helmet should be andariels preferably with a 15ias/20+ fire res jewel(very rare). Belt should be razor tail. If using windy I have a 15ias/30 Ed jewel. Dexterity will ensure you never miss so all the penetrate points are useless as well as all extra points in decoy. I get Valkyrie(most don’t) but I clear screens so fast I really never get stuck in dodge animations so I prefer the meet shield. With a good setup you can hit max sheet damages above 6k physical which will be more than enough to instakill everything on screen from p1-p3 with the occasional exception. No offense but this guy has a goofball setup. This guy had 175 points in dex which is abysmal and was the reason he chose a jah in his bow and all the points in penetrate.(please don’t ever do that). By slamming all points in dex you get a huge damage boost and have no issues once so ever with hitting monsters.
I recently got a Kuko Shakaku Cedar Bow (level 33) that gives +3 to all bow and crossbow skills, fires explosive arrows, piercing attack, 180% enhanced damage, 40-180 fire dmg and +3 to immolation arrow. Would this be a good build for that bow? I was gonna start a new bow centric Amazon for that bow but I don’t know what kind of build to use for it.
I was wondering if "brand" runeword would work for this build.. I was looking at runewords today and seen it.. has ignore target defense and prevent heal with a 100% to cast lvl 18 bone spear on striking.. figured it would be an expensive runeword to run but going to think that would make her hit harder. Not to mention since she's tanky, and you can stand in groups without getting melted, that lvl 14 amplify dmg might help with bosses too.. Just an idea.
War traveler boots add way more damage than gore rider (unless you fight vs bosses) if you have 200 dexterity fortitude and faith on your merc you'll get 98 - 163 physical dmg added
1 point in strafe is nice in some situations, like in chaos there are some narrow corridors where strafe is better. I prefer max pierce with razortail for that reason. Multishot doesn't need to be max. 10-15 base is enough depending on your +skills. Decoy 20 is also overkill. you have enough spare points to take another skill: Magic Arrow / Freezing Arrow / LightningFury/Chargedstrike
rly nice build i would like to try a different route when i find a jah atm i am using buriza how bout this crazy idea:if you wear the faith, giant skull for the kb,act 2 merc for might aura with insight. and having that much atack speed i would use atma's scarab for the amplify dmg trigger and 20% ar. what do you think? :)
I don't know why you have trouble with stoneskin. The tools are there to do so. Even a single point in magic arrow is probably better than guided at it. You should also get 1 charm with cold and one with poison damage on them for slow and prevent heal. Which is why I prefer Strafe. It applies on hit effects like cold, poison, crushing blow, crits on every arrow unlike Multishot which only has those on the few middle arrows. I prefer doing a harder hitting, slightly slower version of this. Strafe > Multi, magic and guided arrow over decoy, pump dex and cap life around 650-750, guillaumes face over andys or mavs helms, razortail over noscoil. Also got a 38/15 in my windforce and a 40/15 in my gface. All found in singleplayer offline OG d2. Combining Gores and Gface really gives you a lot of crushing blow with that attack speed. Also used a good leech/res rare ring alongside ravenfrost. Keep a tgods in inventory to quick swap when doing worldstone keep...and yeah, Harmony on swap is fantastic. I can never decide on the best amulet. Cats, Highlords and Atmas are all top tier. It quite needs the torch and anni for the res and other bonuses, without those I'd build it very differently.
Have you tried gface as a helm and socket some +15ias jewels instead to reach the breakpoint. Also ias on a weapon gets you further to the fastest breakpoint than ias on other equipment. Maybe try to get the ignore target defense elsewhere.
You're more likely better off using Atma's instead of Gface. Gface has a 35% chance of CB, which crushing blow only does 12.5% of the monster's CURRENT life, or 6.25% damage averaged out, and 2.19% damage averaged out after accounting for 35% chance, and only works on the middle 2 arrows of multishot. You also lose a potential 30% IAS and 80% ED by going the Gface route. Atma's also only works on the middle 2 arrows as well, but has a cast radius and (typically) triples the damage (amp damage = -100% physical resistance) of all subsequent attacks as long as the curse is still applied. Very useful for bosses as you can keep the curse applied on them. Weapon vs off-weapon IAS behaves the same.
The only thing in D3 that I wanted in D2 is magic/rare/unique arrows/bolts. I like multi shot but it's very annoying how fast you run of arrows, granted if you have the Godly end game gear it's not such a problem but if you don't it's quite annoying.
It literally uses 1 arrow for the whole cone. I wouldn't care if they made arrows and bolts infinite though. (D3 has quivers with affixes and that would be a bit much here)
@@Phnxkon Maybe it's just me, I seem to remember being kind of annoyed by it a long time ago probably with good attack speed but not so good damage. Anyway, it's not a huge deal but more like a pet peeve of mine. It would nice if the more accessible bow gear got a small buff coz it's tough without the end game stuff.
@@talictdf4757 i think it would be a better idea to slightly buff the bow bases than give a whole new item slot to become op with. Im trying to play a physical Bowzon right now and it is tough for sure after buriza stops being amazing around lvl 55 it looks like my options are fire/ice or huge leap in gear rarity (WF or the runeword) but I think buffing bases a bit would make many of the current items more viable.
@@Phnxkon The smart thing would be to do a balance patch at some point that buffs some bad skills so they become somewhat viable at least but Blizz right now.. they can't even bring the game to a decent state yet so I'm not holding my breath. Does the attack speed bonus from Fanaticism carry over from your merc to your character? Or is it like another player using Fanaticism, that is only increases damage for you?
I like the RNG on a lot of the gear but could some of the "non-negotiable" gear be negotiated through a lucky roll on crafted blood amulets, belts, and gloves for attack speed and crushing blow as well as life and mana leech with some +skills? I'm not savy enough to use hero editor but maybe there is a more gg build or even budget build using a blood craft on the belt, gloves and amulet?
You cant get ias on craft belt or amulet. But there is more gg build ofc, full inventory of 3max 20ar 20life scs, war travelers for extra dmg, magic circlet with ed and 3sockets with 3 15ias40ed jwls 2x raven cta offhand, and max dex its full glass canon build with terrible res and life but huge dmg
Great video :) 2 things to say : pvm bowazon doesnt need vita. U can go full dex, and second thing pride on merc do more dage than faith. I did many many test. Cya !
Well thank you! Flattered, I appreciate the kind commentary. Right on, ahh you know, I keep seeing requests for Hero editor and how to use it. I guess that means it's time for a tutorial video. =)
We spoke in the other video but for this question... multishot shoots many more arrows per second so has much more DPS potential. Strafe auto-aims..but also locks you in place and you can't control which targets to focus on. I prefer multishot because clear speeds are significantly faster and you have more degree of control.
Strafe is, for the purposes of a bowazon, inferior 95% of the time and only under circumstances specific enough that it doesn't make sense to build around them. If you get two of them out in about as much time as you can get one strafe off, it doesn't even require math. But, as we all know, it's not a fun video game until it's got you doing math.
@@kristopherleslie8343 Does phy, magic, fire and explosive damage on every strafe arrow. Doesn't work on multi shot. @@michaelgriffin3230 after testing yesterday on the initial arrow all that can trigger can be done normally will work. That unfortunately works on a “hit” mechanic so if you don’t hit it won’t do anything. The explosion part works off an always hit mechanic but as far as I can tell the only boost you can do is fire for that specific part of damage. So paladin, Amazon, and sorc can boost it. Any character can boost with enchant fire also on cast. For the most part it’s the best skill for holy fire paladins and makes them hell capable to a degree regardless what people say. One thing that is an issue is fire immunes but you can use many of the magic wand skills to negate fire immunes. I’ve used them all :) since I wanted to find out a solution. So I single monsters out to let my merc take care of them. Likely this weekend I’ll be testing sanctuary to support holy fire as truly it’s good enough to keep act 4 mobs in check that are undead. Good idea. Normally I run maxed out frozen arrow and cold arrow but in those rarer cases when mobs are both phys and cold immune it will help :) Does this 20lv stack up by your + bow skills or will it always be lv20 no matter what?
Also using faith with act 2 merc using pride runeword with might aura is alot better then any other multi shot build. This one is nice tho and og for using windforce.
Great guide. I much prefer having less points in crit and decoy and having magic arrow max out for fis imunes. Its does such an excelent damage. Anyway, nice work.
Hi there. Piercing is useless since they fixed the ''guided arrow''. And ''shael'' is best option for the bow socketing which increase attack speed from %20 to %40 bow itself.
He doesn't need sheal he hits max breakpoint without it, although putting sheal in the windforce means he doesn't have to use mavinas helm. The best choice for his setup is probably an ohm or a 40/15 (max dmg) in the WF, not a sheal.
@@FunFunFun120 hi. I m not talking about for his built. I m talking about for general bowazon built while most of ppl using mara s amulet instead of cats eye.
@@mustafayasin16 Maras is a bad choice unless you need the resists, which you shouldn't with a forti + anni/torch. Highlords is still a 10%ish dps increase, or cats. You need damage unless you are going for an ice build, maras is an easy way to lose a lot of damage that you simply can't afford to lose.
Gonna try this build, I found a Windforce in a pit run a week ago. Took me only 20 years!
Hell yeah bro, I hope to find one soon also.
Congrats!! How were the stats?
Congrats bro.
Lol, I love this comment. Pretty much D2 in a nutshell.
damn can i have that lol
I shed a tear when I saw a jah rune in that WF :(.
Aye lol ... Could have probably accomplished more or less the same effect with an Eth rune depending on Clvl.
SERIOUSLY. This guy is a noob and has no understanding of builds. That Jah Rune (which does nothing but increase hit chance) is totally useless with max Penetrate AND Fanaticism aura. He already had max chance to hit. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Lol. That is why I don't play bowazon. It is some expensive build. Lol. I think it is OK to build till nightmare but not he'll
This build needs tweaking. It doesn't even follow some basic multi-zon rules like not maxing multi-shot and using magic arrow. And Jah on the bow whether you can afford it or not is completely not worth. Both in price and the hit rate you actually get out of it
I don't mean to just bash. There is a wealth of class specific knowledge in D2 that very, very few people are well versed in
Use magic arrow to kill phy imms. It does magic damage. With the knock back you have not issues.
I’ve always made a steafer. I just have always loved the play style and I can farm some specific areas where people never go. Once you learn to wok around the lock and other small quirks(e.g. positioning both u and mobs) it’s so fun and when you get super high IAS it does some really awesome things.
Plus you can use Atmas Scarab amulet for the amp damage proc and just rip through physical immunes. It really helps on hell cows too.
Try this build with a delirium runeword helm. It'll proc the confuse curse so often that most of the time nothing will even get close to attacking you.
Would it better on your merc then?

I’ve found that running a faith GMB with pride on your merc pumps out a higher dps
It would be even better if you uploaded the char files for us to play around with.
Yeah you def don’t need to max multi shot or decoy. You can put those points into strafe and have the best of both worlds.
How did you get get 150% IAS with windforce?
@@STOUTIM0US You have to ditch fortitude and use a 60% IAS armour. From there though, it's not too hard, but I would still recommend WF + faith merc over this setup.
Has anyone called you the Bob Ross of D2? Great content, thanks for the video!
Have you tried Treachery armor for that +45% IAS? Seems like they removed the cap,
Tried it myself with Faith setup VS my fortitude. Fortitude does edge out more dps but the minigun with Treachery is pretty fun 😄
This dude straight up told me I was doing a good job…… I followed because of that ❤️
You're like the Bob Ross of Diablo
That's high praise
I say all this as a 'yes and' not as a correction; mostly just wanted to compliment the gear choices.
one small tip, find a charm with any cold damage on it and you slow everything around you.
Solid tip!
Don't have to with ravenfrost.
@@craigdrexler2649 small charms are easier to come by
It is a good tip for any build
Love the energy this dude brings to his videos :)
(Faith is missing the knockback, that Windforce has)
Duress armor is also better then a Fortitude, because of the Crushing Blow, Open wounds and 40% FHR beating the flat 300% dmg increase.
I like strafe a lot more

But if you dont believe me just try it out one youself and than we talk again
Maxing out multishot is needed because strafe receives synergy from both guided arrow and multishot to deal extra dmg.
I used to use Max guided, Max multi and then get an inv with tons of psn dmg small charms typically would have no problem with anything in hell, guided for single target
I recognize that voice, love your other channel Mr. Jang Bricks! I had no idea you were a D2 veteran!
I found lacerator on switch a bit flimsy, since you have to stop firing and wait for the proc to occur.
@@SatoshiPayneOfficial Agreed. You will get more enemies killed just by shooting your main weapon than waiting for amp and then shoot.
Witchwild String works too. amp damage poc on diablo/PI unique, then switch back to windforce. Works very well.
@@playerst2287 I guess it works but something to consider: WWS has a lower chance to proc amp damage (2%) than Atma's scarab (5%), during which you'll be outputting much lower damage with WWS while waiting for amp to proc. Gotta try this. My current bill focus on explosive shot for pure damage and a bit of multyshot for crows control. Amazing build!

In PC it works fine. BUT, I warn you, it's expensive. Each charge costs about 40k
@@cotasa okay, that's kind dumb. I could see why that would be if Revive didn't have a duration attached to it, but that 180 seconds isn't long and not worth 40k q charge. I guess armor sells for 30-35k a piece but still....

this guide is soo good, btw: you sound like Bob Ross for Diablo Players
Hey Old School Game Snob, which hero editor do you use btw ? love your videos ! xD
I think maxing crit is still worth it (until slvl 24), it's not like those points are going to be useful elsewhere anyway.
You should try it with the circlet with 3 open sockets and 30 frw with 15/40 jewels. Would be better than a mavina's Imo. Still looking great!
This build sounds so cool. Too bad I won't have a spare Jah + Ohm for a Faith anytime soon. Not to mention the 4s Grand Matron Bow with +3 skills :P

Just question if is necessary to put skill points into passive increasing AR when you have ignore TD then rather put points into magic arrow?

Imo the best possible muli-strafe bowazon is faith in gmb for you and might merc with pride ,wrath on switch for decrepify(dmg boost ofc and more importantly breaking phys imunes) ,probably much more expensive setup on already quite expensive build and theres no room for any gear variations, all has to be with much possible ias(like your helm-circlet has to be 45ias among other things).Only important dmg boostiing piece of gear withou ias is fortitude.

@@krispattison9086 what’s your mutishot dmg with all 3 then?
What are your thoughts on Might Emilio with Reapers Toll over the Fanatism Aura? Decrepify + might is pretty huge dmg and breaks phys immunes but there is no AS bonus.
I think act 2 merc with pride and might is the best for this build, also your ama should equip faith so you both get benefits. And btw decoy is useless, max magic arrow to deal with immunity is way better.
on top play ice arrow it's much stronger !
Anyway the decoy points are wasted and playing without razor tail another ~12 points !
Decoy is NOT uselss! it just needs you to think out of the box to properly use it
Barb merc with a lawbringer and treachery armour should deal with physical immune easy.
A fully maxed out Valkyrie has 4k+ health
how come you missed the passive skills dodge and avoid etc... also, does the amazon hireling still get lightning with plus skills? thanks.
The Bob ross voice of d2r. Also, +1 into magic arrow for physical immunes.
Lighting vs this for amazon? Faster killing speed?
Why not Valk for extra meat shield????
What were all the sc's in his inventory?
Nice video man,
I use a similar build on my bowazon but with Gface as helmet socketed with a 30ed 15 ias jewel, (and highlords).
Love your content, and tbh sounds silly, but i love your voice / tone / presenting style, keep it up mate your doing great :)
Did you know the IAS breakpoints are bugged and you can go past the normal caps. This means stacking the maximum IAS is actually super useful. Also I know you don't run the right merc but faithbow merc is barley needed to get this build going. reapers toll applies decrepify which will break phys immunes like infector that you had.
you also have magic arrow that kills just as fast the aura from pride will add a ton more damg over reapers
It could be a good Idea to play zon if you have grim reaper on merc. Zon has really problem with damage.
What hero editor do you use?
If don't wanna go multi shot can i just go strafe and still tear it up ?
Wouldnt wartravlers be considered BiS? for the flat dmg on them being affected by Forti etc?
Yes, yes it is. But like always a very lackluster guide with a lot of bad advice
@@benjaminmelcher6685 There's 2 options for this, one you've suggested:
1) Faith GMB: you can get 95% IAS for 7fpa, and although it requires switching out razortail for noscoil, this is not too hard to do and it's worth it even though you lose 10% pierce (you can max pierce skill to ~90%) and some dex.
Act 2 might merc with a Reaper's Toll will up your damage alot and easy to come by.
This
also removes phys immunes. both bows is overkill really.
I do believe its r-tarded not to put 1pt into the defensive procs
if you shoot something point blank with multishot is it hitting the target with 30 arrows doing 30 arrows worth of damage or is it just one arrows worth? so the closer you are the more damage like a shotgun?
Each target can only be hit by 1 multishot arrow per shot.
@@MunsonRoyE27 Thx. Sounds reasonable to me.
Kuko Shukaku is a mid-level unique that is easy to obtain. Not sure if it can carry you through hell though.
What item pack do you use for hero editor?
why the extra jah rune in ur inventory?
1 point in strafe is nice in some situations, like in chaos there are some narrow corridors where strafe is better. I prefer max pierce with razortail for that reason.
Multishot doesn't need to be max. 10-15 base is enough depending on your +skills. Decoy 20 is also overkill. you have enough spare points to take another skill: Magic Arrow / Freezing Arrow / LightningFury/Chargedstrike
rly nice build
i would like to try a different route when i find a jah
atm i am using buriza
how bout this crazy idea:if you wear the faith, giant skull for the kb,act 2 merc for might aura with insight.
and having that much atack speed i would use atma's scarab for the amplify dmg trigger and 20% ar.
what do you think?
Oh baby, that decoy and slow missiles tech in BM duels.
Did you try to build a bowazon around a kuko yet? Its a lot of fun!
I built a paladin around it once :D
Amazon is still slumped over coz her back hurts from being 60 xD
@@talictdf4757 I dont know how I feel about skill changes. I know if they were updating and patching regularly yeah they should, but this is a remaster.
I run maxed Magic Arrow for immunes and Strafe. With a Windforce things get knocked back hard and she mows through Chaos. Right now I'm at 5k Magic Arrow and like 4.4k Strafe. Soon as I get an Ohm I'll kick that up to 7ish Magic and 6k Strafe, Magic right now is like 4.8k so I rounded up the first time I listed it.
I doubt a single Ohm rune can bump your damage up by 2k.

14:09 Magic Arrow. Highly under-valued skill. With high damage, it will wear down physical immunes. +Skills benefit this a lot and I've found it to be worth spare skill points, such that physical immune packs and areas weren't even really a problem.
You can use magic arrow for physical immune
Since when do physical immunes only show once in a while. Ha. I run into them constantly with my fury druid. Drives me crazy
Does the attack speed bonus from Fanaticism carry over from your merc to your character? Or is it like another player using Fanaticism, that is only increases damage for you?
The attack speed from fanaticism fully carries over. The damage bonus is only partially carried over.
Did u see lamas attack speed video?
Great video :) 2 things to say : pvm bowazon doesnt need vita. U can go full dex, and second thing pride on merc do more dage than faith. I did many many test. Cya !
So would windforce, pride and might be better than windforce and faith? Trying to figure out what I want to build my merc with
@@ryanward5770 yes, WF pride is the best setup actually. You will hit slowly but hardly. The dps is higher with wf pride.
Isn’t a 30frw with 3sockets and 3 40/15 jewels a lot better? As well as a 4socket 100 life armor with 4 40/15 jewels?
Tiara: yes, but very expensive
Armour: no, Fortitude is better if you're using Faith
Why didn't you put 1 point into evade dodge and avoid?
With how easy and mana cheap it is to recast Decoy, would it not be worth dropping half of those points into Magic Arrow for the Phys immunes?
Isn't that what Llama was about yesterday?
What abou PvP bowazone...with windforce... guided arrows..double DMG... dodge...etc...
I love watching your vids, your voice is just a harmony.. But how the hell u bring the hero Editor to work? Version 1.04 didnt work for me
Well thank you! Flattered, I appreciate the kind commentary. Right on, ahh you know, I keep seeing requests for Hero editor and how to use it. I guess that means it's time for a tutorial video. =)
what if I use strafe instead? Is it really that much inferior?
We spoke in the other video but for this question... multishot shoots many more arrows per second so has much more DPS potential. Strafe auto-aims..but also locks you in place and you can't control which targets to focus on. I prefer multishot because clear speeds are significantly faster and you have more degree of control.
Can you do a budget elemental bowzon?
Strafe is, for the purposes of a bowazon, inferior 95% of the time and only under circumstances specific enough that it doesn't make sense to build around them. If you get two of them out in about as much time as you can get one strafe off, it doesn't even require math. But, as we all know, it's not a fun video game until it's got you doing math.
These videos are important to show people what not do play.
You should try Rune word Brand in bow and Dragon armor with strafe. You will be amazed!
Waymen what this do?
@@kristopherleslie8343 Does phy, magic, fire and explosive damage on every strafe arrow. Doesn't work on multi shot.
Also cast lvl 18 hydra's with each arrow and 100% on strike lvl 18 bone spear each arrow , lvl 14 holy fire aura and ignore target defense.
Just make sure your gpu can handle all the mayhem on the screen...lol
Damage wise the holy shock guy is god tier with our without dream.
@@kristopherleslie8343 I was mainly talking zon strafe build... the main part being 100% on strike lvl 18 bone spear...it only works well with strafe, since multi shot its only counted as the first arrow not the splits
If we going into godly paladin then Frostadin with dual dreams is a the god tier.
Tesladin hits for 8k -11k but frostadin with dual dreams hits 17k -21k
People always ask me to rush them with my pally on normal and nm I just teleport and everything dies 2 screens away or perm frozen.
I'm a javazon, pally mains for years only other char I play at the moment is the hybrid mf/gf barb
@@michaelgriffin3230 yo let’s link up in game we need to theory craft together cause I would have assumed dream lightning would be the better
While harmony is helps ya run faster witch wild string on switch solves the issue of being immune to physical solely bc it casts amp dmg
Good idea. Normally I run maxed out frozen arrow and cold arrow but in those rarer cases when mobs are both phys and cold immune it will help :) Does this 20lv stack up by your + bow skills or will it always be lv20 no matter what?
Atma's ammy does that job, so you can keep using harmony on switch.
