However the Amp Dyno showed the Drago never went under 1 Ohm under load. THats what keeps me thinking.

Nice amp man wish you would of kept it at 1ohm. You know not too drop fullbridge below 1 ohm like Korean amps. But it seamed to sit above 1 ohm on the amm1 but I guess that one time is all it takes it looked beast on the gut shot for a Brazilian board.

@Parker The Basshead- Did you ✔ the Db with that Massive Audio Drago 24k, or the Deaf Bonce Aak 8k? Great video, but it's not a good thing to wire "Any" Full bridge amp, below the Mfg's minimum rated impedance. You have a few blown example's on your wall already😉

Be careful with your LPF settings. Ensure its low enough. A lot of systems will clip heavily due to improper x over settings as the higher frequencies/kicks will clip the amplifier easily while the lower notes are still clean. Hence the flickering. Need to direct the amplifiers power to 50hz and below as sharp as possible.

I knew that amp was gonna blow being wired under 1 ohm this amp is in no way tough enough to handle that.
I had one at @ 2ohms , full lithium 4 15s and it never saw below 14.8 volts at full tilt no clipping and went pop. I sent it back and was told my power supply wasnt strong enouh. I dident see how with two 2 mech 400 , and a third alt that ran the truck and two lp lithium batteries lol I got it fix and sold it

Wow I saw 27,554 watts on the meter. I have massive audio d8000 and P8 . All my amps are massive and not disappointed with them ! Great video !
I ran massive audio amps and subs for a few years. No problems or complaints. I just upgraded to fi audio mt 12’s doing 4500 rms each on skar audio skv2 4500’s
Parker Thanks man for another excellent video 👍💪💪.... sux amp quit on ya but it happens. just an update, my friend who has the 2 massive audio hippo xl 10's is visiting this week and we noticed his 10's which he bought last january the paper cones are developing stress cracks where the cone is starting to tear in several spot from dust cap to surround. i have never seen subs do this... new to me. he doesn't slam them hard and stays well below power and clipping on his amp (normal use). for the price he paid each he is pretty upset about it. 🤷♂

What kinda fuse block (distro) are you using here? I'm currently using a Illcustomz because every other fuse distro block I tried the opening for the wire was to small. Anyways Parker thanks for making another great video.

Ever thought of attaching a thermometer to the amp. One with a sticker based sensor. Yeah, amps have thermal circuits, but it still helps to have an eye on your gear. I currently have a voltage meter for both my front and rear battery. I plan on hooking up two extra 12volt or 5 volt usb fans under each of them once I attach them on a dual amp rack. Along with a temp gauge by those fans so I can keep an eye on things.

Beast of an amp..hope more companies start making half ohm stable amps..with some of today's equipment being cheaper and being able run at .5 or even .25 but good stuff none the less

Hey Parker, I have a super crew cab f-150 and I wanted to do an under seat build something along the lines of 3 JL audio tw5s on a 2500, but I’ve recently been tossing up the idea of just folding the seats up and throwing 2 18s back there. I would love to have something loud and something that digs deeps but I’m really not sure. don’t use the back seats much but when I do I’m glad I have them, My question is what would you do, and would the JLs be enough

You always make me stay away from full bridge more and more everytime you pop one 😂. I had a slapz 5k and 3k and deaf bonce AAP 2100.1 for short periods. Since I got a surge 4k it's been nothing but half bridge since, never had a problem .5 daily in 2 vehicles. Crescendo BC3500.1 and Synergy SYN-6.5k for months never a problem. 🤙🏼🙏🏼

feel like a showtime meet would be way more fun than the sundown show or something like ruckus. i've never been to any but small and intimate shows where everyone gets a turn to demo for eachother just seems like a better time than walking miles and miles and waiting in lines for demos.
Yeah you definitely need to do a walled setup next, hell ypu can run the same subs and amp just have Drew Jones from basshaulics draw ya up a badass walled box design and then go to work building it for an absolute night and day difference from the no-wall setup you've been running...

I also noticed that the protect like blinked at 21k watts.. it was starting to get pushed to it's limits at that point so when it got pushed even more it was just to much . Plus the amp was compromised after it was opened because of those protectors being moved slightly, that could be the difference between small short on a 20k watt amplifier.

I had a ds18 5k gfx on 2 zvx 12s at 14.4v and ran it at .5 ohm with zero issues out of the subs or the amp. Crazy that your subs blew the 24k and didn’t pop the 8k lol, goes to show buying big cheap amps ain’t always better than getting a smaller high quality amp

Crazy to think that for the same price you could've got 2 Taramps Bass 15ks and a Smart 3k for mids and highs with leftover lunch money. Only saying that because this is a full bridge amp!

The power supply looks similar to the stetsom eq line lol can’t take those deep bass for long but will be loud on stunt walls

Im not aware of any radio with a HPF you can control on the sub channel.

Probably nothing wrong with that clip light, class D amps usually don't actually "clip" aka square wave because of their output filtering, which can make it hard to know if you are over driving it. I would have used a DD-1+ or a proper oscilloscope to check the output for 1% THD and backed off from there. At least the repair doesn't look super expensive, upsides!
