Useful advice for people in the UK: if you buy a a TENS machine, you don't need to pay VAT as it's a medical device. The seller will have details of this, but it's usually just a form to fill in or at least they'll need your signature. I was advised to try it for severe endometriosis pain to see if it helped. The local pain clinic gave me one to trial at home. I then had to return it & buy my own. This was about 20 years ago & I don't know if it's changed now. It only worked for me whilst the device was working, so I ended up wearing it 24/7 on bad days. I simply kept changing the location of the pads throughout the day.
I'm a snowboarder, and snowboarding is an extreme sport. So i tend to get injured often. I find i heal faster & relieve pain faster thanks to a tens unit than without one. My PT put me onto one over the summer and it's been such a game changer! I wish I knew about it sooner, but then again I switched to a new PT during the summer. As soon as the pain is durable I start rehabbing it. But I have heard and been told it works best with some movement? The faster I can get back onto the snow the better. But I always wondered how or why it works, and this explains it.
But I have seen people using around inner thighs and around breast area and also they are available on some of the adult stores, so is it safe or not, just asking for a friend of mine?

Don't try to use it near your chest . This can be very dangerous. Always ask your doctor to make sure what you need to do.
I hope you're joking.
@@helenszone just Google on any adult site with its name, you would find tons of videos
"Doctor O Donovan" - doctor of what degree? DDS? MD? PHD? DO? DVM? etc.
I feel it misleading to not show his degree>
Im a dual doctor. I have a medical degree (MBBS) and I also have a PhD. I state this in my channel description.
@@DrODonovan Your "channel description" was/is not clearly shown. I ask because I see many "non-M.D.'s showing themselves as "Dr. Jones"
