Against my better judgement, I picked up a Go 3 last week. I've had some other Insta360 cameras before like One X, X3, and Go 1. I didn't like any of them. Image quality sucked and they just were not good. I'm actually shocked by how good it is. I like it so much that I'm selling my GoPro 11. I'm def not buying a GoPro 12. I'm so tired of the overheating, wonky menus, and clumsy mounting system. Go 3 is way more fun to use.

@@Rush-Media rumour is that GoPro is done with the MAX. The current Max has been out for many years and have not received a firmware upgrade for two years.
The biggest disappointment will the need for that expensive and annoying media mod...
Would you prefer a bigger gopro that could accommodate hdmi port, mic input and usbc port?
@@Rush-Media not even that, just let add microphones via usb C without any weird and expensive adapters.
imo the 10 and 11 are basically the same camera, the 10-bit file on the GoPro we're not much more workable than 8-bit files due to the limited performance of the small sensor, and recording vertical and horizontal video at the same time, worked for so few workflows.
I can't think of a many instance where I would recommend anyone buy the twelve when you could just buy a 10 or the 11 and for the most part at the exact same image in every probable filming situation.
and i will be recommending the dji action 4 to my friends now as the camera Guru in my social circle moving forward [it was gopro previously]
Why do you prefer the action 4?
@@Rush-Media more stable, better mount, way better for indoor/ low light with basically the exact same features.
easier to recommend without getting egg on your face which can happen if they get a GoPro that needs hard resets or they film in challenging light and realize they just spent a few hundred and it looks way worse than their phone.
I skipped the 11 to get the 12.... I guess Im skipping the 12 too :(

I’m not even motivated to replace my Hero 9! It’s a shame to see GoPro’s lack of innovation but I’m hoping that will make DJI and Insta work harder to grab their market share.
It's a decent upgrade from the 9 for some. You'd find the menu much snappier and more options with horizon lock thanks to the taller sensor and 5.3k video of course. Plus the light modes.
