I've been wanting to do Corridors of Time (the music you hear while walking around the Kingdom of Zeal) for so long, but it's such a beautiful piece that I never felt that I could add anything to it to make it worth remixing. I was finally inspired to write some lyrics for it from the perspective of Schala, and I worked in a bit of Schala's theme as well as a bit of original stuff.
I really hope you like it as much as I enjoyed working on it ^_^ As you guys probably know, Chrono Trigger is my favorite game of all time, and this location was particularly special to me. Incidentally, I didn't realize it was Chrono Trigger's 20th Anniversary last week... so when I realized I'd be finishing the music track on that day I was very happy.
Also, I apologize for the sporadic uploads... I've been hard at work on my game (Rakuen), but I have some more videos in mind so I'll keep you guys updated :) Take care and stay healthy!

Halfway there, now.
Today I learned that my mother was taken ill and in a deep coma at the hospital. This song and Laura's voice actually made me starting crying... But it also gave me a sense of healing that she's in a peaceful state😥 - I have actually listened to this song many times, but now I want to say thanks for making something so wonderful 🙏
With a heavy heart, she passed away. Whenever I get visions of her in her final days in the hospital, I listen to this song to ease the pain, believing she is in paradise.

I came here a few years ago and fell in love. I came back a couple of days ago, and I am completely and utterly enamored.
This is amazingly beautiful, Laura. More than amazing. I can hear a bit of Schala's Theme more than halfway into the song, which is the most nostalgic piece for me from the series from my childhood, and truly, it shook my body with goosebumps.
I love the fact you are obviously coming from Schala's perspective in the lyrics you wrote. It hurts how good this all is. The kid in me, and the adult I am, both thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Chrono Trigger's soundtrack is timeless. Mitsuda-san is brilliant, as always, since I was a kid in the 90s.

I bought this album and play this song often. One time in the car it came on. My daughter takes choir lessons and sang along with it. This song often makes me tear up, but hearing her sing it made me pretty emotional. "I'm not crying... you're crying."
Honestly... I can't hear your voice without tears falling from my eyes. I always come back to your songs when I feel sad or happy. Either way, it always brings the mood up.

Looking back on this. Whenever I listen to this song. I always felt a wave of sadness wash over me. It truly shows how insignificant we are to the sands of time.

Chrono Trigger is my all time favorite JRPG of all time... so much memories...nostalgic...when my mentor (uncle the one who taught me everything about video games when I was just 4 years old)...and my grandmother who recently died in 2019... she was also a player and used to play with us video games...

I was tearful the first time I heard and saw the kingdom of Zeal... I cried meeting Janus, wondering I too could change something... I wept when I saw Schala's fate... and I haven't wept like this for her in years. I've always grieved her... She did so much to save her mother, her brother, and her kingdom... only to be ripped from time... Not even killed, but... (shakes head). The only hope I still have for her is that that one Nu in the future who "sleeps out side the flow of time" can at least dream of her. She's the only person who didn't get a tomorrow.

..it's been years now and I often find myself coming back to this song. If one day, we get a proper remake, I really hope you get to play a role in it with this song or a version of it in the game.

I've listened to this 5 times now. Chrono Trigger is unquestionably my favorite game of all time, and Chrono Cross is pretty close. You did an amazing job. Your lyrics fit so well and evoke both sadness and nostalgia. You've got a beautiful voice and every one of your releases has been a pleasure to hear. I don't know that you'll ever read this since this was posted so long ago. But I wanted to thank you. This song isn't just beautiful, but for me it was one of the last things I shared with my mom before she died. Chrono Trigger was a major touchstone of mine for gaming, one of the few titles out there I would have more or less called perfect and your cover of this song was so gorgeous I had to share it. And now whenever I listen to it I cry. It hits me so deep and I miss her so much. Thank you for this, even if it hurts this song is so important to me now, and helps me keep my mom's memory alive in my mind.
