- As I've been getting slightly more comfortable on the alto saxophone, I decided to tackle one of my favorite pieces of video game music ever. Here's Corridors of Time from Chrono Trigger!
Save for part of the improvisation section, I tried to keep this cover similar to the original, though the saxophone harmonies were inspired by Dom Palombi's cover of this same song, which I'm mentioning because I believe every fan of this track should hear it!

The music made for this is amazing, I always consider this among some of the best music made for a video game. The creator of the games combined many elements of genius to create this masterpiece of a game.
The entire soundtrack is absolutely wonderful, but this track in particular has always stood out to me. It’s very good.

Chrono Trigger is one of the greatest video games of all time and RPG's or JRPG's. I wish they would made a sequel and I mean direct sequel to the game with a Chrono Trigger 2. Chrono Cross was not a direct sequel to this game, so it is more of a spinoff. What I would love to see is something which continues what the awesome story of Chrono Trigger started with the time travel and battles and so forth.
I’ve still yet to play the game but I’ve only ever heard amazing things! I really need to try it sometime.
@@XanderPlute I wish they would consider making a Chrono Trigger 2. I never played Chrono Cross but it wasn't a direct sequel but more of a spinoff game. This is the type of RPG or some say JRPG that deserves to be continued as a franchise. I played this game back in 1995 along with another wonderful game in the SNES Super Mario RPG and both where great. Lets hope Square maybe listens to fans
It is definitely one of the best games ever made. I played it after I played Chrono Cross back in the ps1 days. Cross is an excellent game, but yes Trigger is better. However, Trigger doesn’t really need a sequel because the only thing left open in that game is Schala’s fate which is the whole plot of Cross. Basically the whole plot of Cross is to save Schala from Lavos. It’s not so much about time travel but between two timelines. All the characters in Trigger have a proper ending and fulfillment except for Schala. Game devs today would just turn a Trigger 2 into some woke propaganda crap anyway.

Your covers for Mitsuda's track are among the best I've heard in my entire life. I actually got chills listening to this. There's just so much soul in this piece. I hope you keep on making more covers like these because they're quite fantastic and I can see your channel growing big in the future!

I really enjoy the instrumentation in this arrangement! The melodica and the marimba voice for the keys were a surprise but as soon as I heard each instrument it felt unmistakably right. Phenomenal cover!

The game sounded to me like an instrument called a Celes, its like a cross between a piano and a xylophone. It's a pretty rare instrument tho... I haven't looked into obtaining one either...

Yeah, sure, nice job, but still no sitar! The soul of this song is the sitar and seems like no one is capable of doing a cover with one! Seems like I'm the only one interested in doing it.
I set out to make a cover of this song using the instruments that I’m capable of playing and seeing how it ended up. What I got was what I’d believe to be a unique rendition of a beloved classic. The sitar is an awesome instrument, but also a fairly inaccessible one that not many people play or even know about. If you made a sitar cover of this, I’m sure people would love it. I see no reason not to go for it if you can play the instrument!
