I was searching for something cool to do a cover and i found this arrangement of the song and i liked it so i decided to put hands to work and here is the result, it has a few defects from my part but i hope you enjoy it nonetheless.
I have a few years wanting to do a cover of Robo's theme, i'll tell you if i get something good tough i don't think i can do something electronic because i'm not too good with that.
It's excellent, and great theme to choose, but just FYI: Too many sounds will create a drown-out effect and you can't really hear anything. Less keyboards (choir, trumpets, fanfare), spread them out a little instead of all at once. The beat that kicks in after 2:00 is a good idea, but... :) Anyway great job nonetheless.
Siempre recuerdo la primera vez que llegue a esta parte del juego... super epico. Decia "wooo, debo estar ya casi terminandolo", y todavia no iba ni por la mitad jaja
I think it's a little too loud and each sound isn't clear enough, it has a blurry feeling and the desire to hear the beautiful clearness. But it's also beautifully made.
I didn't think it would be possible to do something new with this song, but congratulations, it sounds innovative and amazing, like hearing it for the first time all over again. I"m seriously wiping nostalgic tears out of my eyes right now. Thank you.
Never played chrono trigger before, but just started my playthrough yesterday and i can't wait to see what its about! Can i just get to Zeal already and hear this badboy!!!
Holy fuck this made my hairs stand on end! I can feel the grandiosity and sense of scale of the kingdom of zeal like it's a really vast kingdom of dreams! Very beautiful! Oh god I need to lie down...
I wish someone with enough money and the ability to grab the “Dream Team’s” attention-and get them focused on a new project would do a sequel to this game worthy of the first. I wonder what it would take? Nu.....
As someone who has downloaded about 100's of remixes of this song and listens to every single one quite regularly, I have to say this... After the first minute, I said, "Hold on, let me put on my headphones for this one." After the second minute, I was shouting, "OMG YEEEEEEESSS!!!" Upon reaching minute three, I was awed to silently whispering, "This is everything" with a tear in my eye as I continued listening quietly. Well done~ Very well done~ I give my applause~ I do have to say I was kinda jarred by the pause around the five minute mark, and I wasn't much a fan of the drum solo, but that's just personal preference. Outside of that, perfection achieved :D
Haven't heard this arrangement before, haven't seen this pic of janus w/purple cat looking off into the distance before now. It's all perfect. A little too...perfect.
You did a fantastic job on this remix!! Congrats! I have thoroughly enjoyed listening and re-listening -- and you've elevated the original track to a more epic, cinematic feeling that also resonates on an emotional level. I like the tempo a lot. I suggest you revisit again for slight improvements. There were some chord progressions that were a little off especially in the lower sounds, where I heard some dissonance in the counterpoint. Also, I wonder if the melody at 0:57 might be more powerful if you give it to a live french horn or trombone, rather than an electronic sound and guitar later in the song. Then perhaps transfer the instrument carrying the melody throughout the orchestra as it repeats and you add voices (like in Bolero). The harmonies from 1:33 on would also sound glorious with real brass orchestration from trumpet down to tuba. I guess that's what I'm getting at... transferring this to orchestra, with a good bass/low brass sound with percussion accompaniment (losing the drum set but gradually adding snare and timpani) might be a fun endeavor to work on. Not sure what would sound better with the arpeggios, electronic or marimba. All in all, really really great work. The first time I listened this was really one of the best remixes for Corridors I've heard.
Thanks for the feedback, i really appreciate it!, it's unlikely that i would work on this remix again because i'm always busy with newer things but i don't rule out the idea of doing a compilation of covers of Chrono Trigger somewhere in the future.
@@FenixArkAngelus Makes sense. I just felt it could really get there; you've already got the vision in it. A compilation of covers could be really interesting! There are so many wonderful themes in the Chrono Trigger music -- it's some of the best game music I've heard, especially how inextricably linked the music and characters/images have become. It'd be fun to think of the order of themes and what to include. Maybe use this as inspiration: watch?v=nOJi5QSxJbw. The organic flow here from one theme to the next is so rare in medleys/compilations, which usually come off as so choppy. Also, the orchestration of Terra's Theme is really well done.
Thanks!, hmm... it's not a bad idea tough i don't think i can do anything different with the song tough i can update it, i'll see if i figure something.
It's true !! I had not searched, I hesitate, their arrangements are very good, and jokes aside, I consider Terranigma better than Chrono Trigger, something like 3x2 for Terranigma kkkk, well I guess
I'm sorry, but this sounds like an absolute over-reverbed mess. And don't get me started about the mixdown. Geez. Sorry man. Could have been cool, but my ears just hurt.
I know that sounds somewhat unbalanced\overloaded but i think the reverb it's not the only problem, i remember letting sound this in the mixer full dry and it was more or less the same, rather than that i think it has something to do with instruments masking each other, it just happens with certains big orchestral remixes, i think i'll try to redo this when i get the time to see if i can get something better.

Hello, I'd really like you to do a Remix of Robo's Theme ... I suggest, by the way, something very electronic, to emphasize that machine.
I have a few years wanting to do a cover of Robo's theme, i'll tell you if i get something good tough i don't think i can do something electronic because i'm not too good with that.
It's not 100% perfect but check here:

The WHOLE damn remix is good. Thats pretty rare for me to like every single part of a remix. Good job, my dude.
Just experienced the ending of this masterpiece story a few days ago. Thank you for this epic remix.
@Marsili ILI I wish square would make a remake they must really hate money
Which ending? There’s 24.

Man.. esses remix ficou perfeito!! Parabéns ao criador!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

The arrangement is definitely too busy and could use a much better mix but the musicianship is obviously amazing. Keep it up!
Its like he put a low quality echo on everything, especially some parts.
Man I just can feel the hallowed righteousness come off this song, its amazing when creations like this are made. I Love it man
Well done. Great drum solo

Now i've heard a few really good covers of this song, but i feel this one really captures the majesty of that time frame.
