I braid my roots then twist the rest of the hair. It helps with the frizz and lasts longer

I'm team mini twists because I feel more comfortable to use them without a hairstyle, it looks fuller. But I can't make my root look like this so I do braids on the roots and I continue with twists, I love it ❤
I use that same method sometimes too!!! The braids do help this style last longer you’re so right ❤️

I like mini braids better because they last longer and they give my hair that "longer/stretched" effect. But of course, twists are easier to do and the takedown is heavenly.

Team mini braids! Your twists are beautiful. Although, I only do single braids but wear them mainly under my wigs. I'm scared of twists. Lol. My hair may get tangled, matted or frizzy when I wash & condition them but my braids don't tangle when I wash & condition them.
Yessss! I think I love braids more too! I know what you mean about your hair getting dry and possibly locing. Thats what I have to refresh my twists more often than my braids!

I do twists a vast majority of the time and I love doing mini twists but I also do like mini braids. It's hard to choose between the two lol.

Mini twist are better. Sometimes I put braids at the back and twists in the front. No matter, your hair looks wonderful!

Did you blow dry it on cool or low?
I used warm heat (not the hottest setting) and had it on low
My shrinkage is unreal. It’s like 1/3 of its length. I’m going to have to do it on blow dried hair
how did you tie it up at night?
I just put a scarf on or slept on a satin pillowcase 🖤
I tried mini braids but my hair never puffs up! I’m gonna try your method but I don’t have a lot of hair :( let’s hope it works lol
