I want to try them but I have finer hair. Not too fine but fine enough. Plus. With these, they seem like they would take longer because you have to part each braid. With mini twist, in the back, i just twist. I only part some of my front. Also. The take down may take forever and I would have to be careful. Still. I really want to try it because it looks nice, seems like it could retain length if done right, and I have never done mini braids on my hair.
Those are all understandable concerns but sometimes trying something new can be fun. There is nothing wrong with sticking to twists if you feel like that’s better for you and your hair. 😊
This is my dream to have them come out good lol my hair is fine so my braids turn out scrimpy but I’m going to experiment until I get it right. My hair is braided now but I’m on break (teacher) but I need to get it right before going back to school. Have to keep it profesh. 👌

I love this, cause you can even wear a wig over it, cornrows always rips my hair when I’m braiding it and this way I can moisturise all over my hair more then just the outside

if you blow dry your hair, use a good edge control, and also braid the root first to get a tighter grip then start twisting hope that helps :)

To keep your 2 strand twist from frizzy up apply mousse once your done and ensure you twist your hair while it's damp.

Thank you! I usually let my hair air dry or sit under a hairdryer. I like to do my protective styles on DRY hair, but it doesn't have to stretched.
