I absolutely love innersense. I feel like they sent you the wrong products for the curly hair. Pure harmony hair bath shampoo is amazing and also the radiance color conditioner is so good for moisture, detangling and slip. I’m 100% natural meaning no dyes in my hair or any other chemical and I still use that conditioner. Been using these products for 3 years now ❤️ You inspired me to start making content again and to do mini twist this weekend again. Thank you ❤️
I agree. I use the color radiance line and both are amazing, and the conditioner is like no other I've ever tried (I have 3c/4a hair so I've tried a lot of products)
They sent her the clarifying shampoo and its job is to cleanse any product or buildup. Always follow up with a moisturizing shampoo followed by conditioner. You’re right about them not sending her all the right products for her hair type.
I love how full your mini twists are, your natural hair is just gorgeous! I can’t wait to grow my hair to that length, thank you for the beautiful content. Can’t wait to do mini twists again❤️
Your video kinda changed my life honestly. I’ve been struggling with my curls for years and since I’ve found this video I’ve been wearing twist almost everyday day. I’ve started to have a more healthy relationship with my hair this year, so thank you 💕⭐️
This helped me soo much!!❤️ I’ve always used to do this basic bun hairstyle..but when I watched this video..i felt like a new person!!❤️ thank you soo much! Remember to love your hair girls and boys!🫶🏾
I put my mini twist in after watching your video a few weeks ago and my gosh i love mini twist. I cut off a few spots in my hair trying to take down crochet so mini twist it is until further notice 😂
ima 14 year old girl in 8th grade and i want to do mini twist so bad because theyre so good for the hair but the style isnt like popular and i feel like i would get made fun because it isnt the popular protective styles like knotless and feed in braid styles other black girls wear at my school
I personally think it’s the best style ever even if it isn’t popular. I understand how people can be mean and say not so nice things, but it’s up to you to tune out the noise and feel confident with what you love about it. Who knows, you can probably make it trendy!😉💖 Or id recommend trying the style over any break to slowly build confidence without the pressure of being in school. I’d love to see a world where more black girls rock mini twists. Love you!💐
I'm also 14 and I want to say it's not that braids are trendy we just don't have the energy or time for mini twists. I'm thinking of quitting my braids though and start taking care of my natural hair. I personally think mini twists are stunning and would wear them if I had the time to do it.
@@saarynwashington I'm talking about doing mini twists myself and with my natural hair. Obviously it will take longer than getting my braids done at the salon.
Hey, with the way the generation is going, do not be afraid to be different. Ik ppl will probably make fun of you and thats sad. However you have no obligation to follow the masses. Good luck with everything 🥰 btw it is super cute who knows u might just get more compliments than criticism!
You're not missing hair down the middle, that's a permanent part. A lot of us get that when parting our hair year after year. Just section your hair differently and see what happens. ❤😊😊
Water is the best hydrator 🙌🏾 also last time I saw your mini twist video short, I couldn’t do mini twists but I found someone with fine/thin curly hair and their method was great and I finally succeeded lol. Also, I love your truthful review of the shampoo.
@@AskingAlexandriaNeon one of the women that I saw used mousse instead of a cream to set her hair and it fluffed up more, which is what I tried! But also after my second trial and error, I’ve found that if I wait until the day after washing my hair and putting my hair product like a leave in or lighter butter and then the next day twisting the hair on dry hair with hair grease like Blue Magic Indian Hemp, they look much better and thicker but my friend who is type 4 finer hair said that she couldn’t do that on her hair, so just a heads up.
Love your results! I will have to give this a try. I have fine hair, so i always feel it looks funny, but i am also still learning. Your results are so beautiful!! Thank you for the inspiration ❤
You used two of their clarifying products back to back. They should have sent you their Hydrating Cream Hairbath which is a moisturizing shampoo. Then follow up with your conditioner or the color radiance conditioner.
Hi Ashely, Just started my hair growth journey. I have mini twists to rn. Im hoping to grow my hair to my shoulders my hair is at ear length❤❤. thanks for helping
I wish i had full twist like this. I would always wear my hair like this!! Mine is thin and spindly and shrink 😢 but I guess that’s what I have to work with
You could try a shampoo& conditioner that makes hair strands thicker and fuller when I had damaged my natural hair it was dry brittle and lifeless but I tried a olive and castor oil shampoo for damaged coily or curly natural hair along with a deep conditioner by the same line my hair had luster shine and fullness the shampoo helped repaire damage I even had ppl tell me how thick and full my hair started to get just by using that shampoo. My hair looked and felt really healthy. Castor oil is good for damaged hair, and it gives the hair shine and fullness worth a shot😊🤷🏾♀️
I don’t know why but i blow dry my hair then at the end i put a good amount of water or mouse to curl my ends. I am never successful with air dried hair. Always so interesting to see other people do their process.
Can you share how you maintain the twists over 2 weeks? Do you add water or products? Lastly, do you prefer the camille rose mousse over the frizz patrol mousse?
you have helped me make my decision to go to the store and get some mousse and get the twisting. i was going to pay someone to do it but nope! thank you your hair looks beautiful
omg your hair is just like mine, the hair in the front os so like thin and doesnt curl/twist the same as the back and it bothers me sm. but your twists look amazing, even after two weeks !!
That’s crazy you don’t use any leave in conditioner, styling cream, or oil to seal. I’m super intrigued lol. Every natural girlie always preached how you needed the LCO or LOC method to maintain moisture and you over here living your best healthy hair life without it. I love it! I am curious if you ever use any of the other products or always use mouse and water?

I haven’t done mini twist in a whileeeee. & our hair is so similar, you make me want to do them again. & the only inner sense product I use is the gel.
How often do you wash your hair when doing mini twist? I’m trying to figure out my routine. I currently wash my hair every 7-10days but I loooove shampooing my hair
Hi Ashley! Where did you get your hair towel from? Also I did some twists a few weeks ago and they did not turn out right😢. I don’t think I sectioned my hair correctly and I didn’t twist from the root good enough. Also, I let my hair air dry which caused extreme shrinkage. Would you say making sure I section my hair properly and not letting my hair air dry will give me a better turn out? My hair is very thick like yours.
Hii India! My hair towel was sent to me in a brand’s PR package. I don’t know the brand, but I do know it’s bamboo material Twisting from the root does make a difference if you’d want to try that next time! You can also try fully drying your hair instead of air drying to cause less shrinkage. If you’re still experiencing the shrinkage you can explore stretching methods.
