We always focus on the Doctor themselves but we rarely ever focus on the TARDIS designs. I love Matt Smith's but Peter Capaldi's is second to none, it's a beautiful sight.
FR, it's like the new TARDIS was designed with all previous designs in mind. It feels like the classic TARDIS, but with a modern twist, it reminds me of the first Smith interior with the ramps and the underfloor beneath the console and the walls are so gorgeous! If everything in this run fails, at least this TARDIS was the best design to date. @@stevenrasche3159
Him saying "love is always wise" is definitely why 13 was the first to love anyone besides river since 10 loved Rose. 13 ability to love Yaz was caused by this final speech from 12, saying love is always wise.
Thirteen has the best post-regeneration scene. The smoke, reveal, and the way that nothing starts exploding until you watch in her PoV as she presses exactly one button.
Maybe because your memories are still the same? I mean even if I for example would wake up as a woman, as long as I have the same memories I would know who I am.
He was my first Doctor and still is my favorite one. This regeneration scene is just beautiful with the melody of the ring-song in the background, the 11th Doctor seeing Amy one last time and with Clara on his side. :´)

Although we've already been introduced to Ncuti Gatwa's Doctor, who appeared for longer than a final scene in the previous Doctor's episode, it will be interesting to have the newest Doctor's first episode on Christmas Day again as it hasn't happened since David Tennant in The Christmas Invasion. As for a Doctor's regeneration/last story being a Christmas/Winter special, I'm glad it finished with the Twelfth Doctor and that Jodie Whittaker had her regeneration in a non-Christmas special to stand out in the NuWho crowd, which is also what makes Christopher Eccleston's regeneration for the Ninth Doctor unique in NuWho for just being in a series finale.
"Sorry, that's The Lion King" is probably the moment that sold me on the whole show. I believe that was the first Doctor Who story I watched, before going back to a few Classic Who serials, the movie, and series 1 of New Who and then continuing from where I started (then going back later for more Classic). And now here we are, with New New Who just getting started.
Absolutely love David's _"I DON'T KNOWWWWW!!!_ roar, admitting he's got a gob, and quoting the lion king in defense of humanity, all within ten minutes of finishing his regeneration. Brilliant.

Moffat wrote that special so that doctor who doesn't lose its slot for an extra special after a series is finished. I think there’s a chance it was intentional. I think there’s a picture of him wearing Pertwees coat out there somewhere. Capaldi has been a fan of the show for a long, long time so he knows all the doctors well and definitely channeled a lot of them for 12
Peter Capaldi remains my favorite doctor, and Jenna Coleman my favorite companion. But until just recently, the questions remain unanswered: Who were the Doctors before they became Doctors? Where do they go after their time is done? What are their lives like? It is something that might make for interesting spinoffs or episodes in the future.
Moffat was really good with separate storylines, but he didn't build up the best follow up of companions and storyline at the long run, even with that Capaldi's Era with Missy was amazing, and the closure of River's story aswell. Didn't love the sending out Amy, or Clara, or Bill. And It got a point when everything was so serious that I miss the camp and fun that the Doctor was in the T Davies Era I missed that all this time.

Okay, absolutely crazy theory, but what if the Doctors name is Jesus?I know that’s insane. But what if that is who he is? Who else in the universe would be as respected as well as feared by creatures such as the darleks etc. One man with the power of everything. Feared but also loved combined. With all that power but refusing to kill or to cause harm wherever possible, someone so connected to the entire universe, especially protective of the human race as if they were his children. Each regeneration is really a resurrection. This is an insane theory obviously, and the more likely theory is that even the writers don’t even know his “name” and it’s just thrown in there to keep you guessing. But still. It kinda makes sense.
Excuse you? What was wrong with his performance, the fact that he was a blunt and rude? You realise that his Doctor has to _try_ to be nice, and that makes him more like the Doctor than a lot of others; the Doctor is the Doctor because he tries to do the right thing, even (and especially) when it’s hard, and Capaldi’s Doctor _exemplifies_ the fact that it’s not always easy to be kind, but he does it anyway.

Peter Capaldi’s Episodes had very solid writing. Also the specials are the best episodes for a regeneration.
