@Lucas Gawor The display is $6000 starting, and the Mac Pro itself starts at $6000 and can go up to around $50000. There are better displays than the Pro Display XDR still, but for $30000, so if the Pro Display XDR is good enough for what they're doing and they just need a good, powerful computer, then Apple's options fit quite a bit better for the purpose. The "Pro" on the display and the Mac Pro are definitely not average consumer level products, they weren't meant to be, similar to how Apple doesn't have a budget end computer.
No I didn't hear this, I just thought that since I plan to buy MacBook Pro I don't need iPad Pro! iPad will suffice cause the spec is appropriate for my requirements. However the more comments I read I'm starting to think maybe the budget iPad might be okay. Definitely not the iPad mini cause I plan to get a 6 inch phones so would definitely prefer a much larger iPad.
‘’It doesn’t get a headphone jack because Apple wanted to make it thinner’’ Nah it doesn’t get a headphone jack because Apple wanted to make more money 🤣
i can really only recommend wireless headphones, they are a lot better than having to deal with the cables. if u still bother with needing that headphone jack, then the 2020 i pad is definitely the wrong iPad for u. I think those who buy it dont care about the jack. Those of u till making fun of the headphone jack will probably agree with me at some time, i too made fun of it once, but now i love my airpods.
As a medical student, I find the cheapest iPad (I have the 6th gen) enough for what you need especially if you're just jotting down notes and annotating books and such. I can say that this is one of the best purchases of my life. During this quarantine, I used my iPad solely as a media device. Overall, it's a good device but it can never replace the functionality of a laptop.

To be honest, more than a "2020 iPad lineup comparison" this looks like a "look how the iPad Pro is a badass compared to the others comparison", since you spent like 70% of the video focusing on the iPad Pro potential. Plot twist, a 800$ device is going to have better features than a 300$ one, you could focus more on the single potential of all the devices instead of limiting it to a basic "this is for kids, this is for teens" categorization which is kinda pointless, simplistic and doesn't help a lot.
I agree and the price in the US seems to be a hell lot different than Europe. The Ipad air 3 with 265 Gb cost me 687 € = 744.15$. The Ipad pro with 265 Gb would have cost me 1.166€ = 1263.01$. Considering that keyboard and pencil are not included in both offers raises the price up another good 250€. Apple product prices are sometimes really insane. I really liked the new design and features of the pro but I'm not willing to pay over 1.400€. That's what I payed for my first car jesus...😱

dude this is such a helpful video 10/10. told me everything i need to know about each and even gave examples of what kind of people should get which ipad? super great!!
older cell phones (the ones before smartphones) had a jack identical to a headphone but it was smaller. this is what should be on all these devices "to small to have a headphone jack" i even have an adapter from back in the day and it worked on my xbox 360 controller.
Bro I just wanted to say I appreciate the constant QUALITY videos you and Max put out. I’m thinking about maybe switching it to my main mobile machine as a student. (iPad Pro) Maybe you can suggest accessories, specs, size, and certain apps to use as a student for the most productivity and maybe compare some apps if they can really be a desktop replacement versus the mobile versions of the apps, if that makes sense.... anyways thanks for the great content keep it up! 😎
Thank you! I would suggest the 11" since it's more portable to carry around as a student. The base 128GB model is good enough storage-wise, but upgrading to 256GB is a pretty good deal. I would also suggest investing into the Magic keyboard when it comes out. you are going to love it. that will allow you to charge your ipad through the case itself, and that leaves the main port free to connect external drives for file transfers. I would suggest a USB-C external SSD for that. I would also suggest using Google Docs and sheets for school work since everything is online. -Vadim
I got the 10.2 for $250 on sale. I have a MacBook Pro and iPhone XR already. So I honestly didn’t have a need for the iPad until I saw the deal and honestly it’s worth every penny. It has enough power to play most graphically intense games with little to no lag, the display quality is just fine, I bought an Apple Pencil along with a wireless keyboard and mouse to go with it and honestly I can say it has replaced many of the functions I use my Mac for and does them just as well. Definitely worth a pick up if you want a way into the current iPad eco system without breaking the bank.
If you’re a student who wants an iPad to do school work and studying, i suggest the newest iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil. It’s expensive, but it’s worth it. I’ve had mine for about a month. It arrived when i was studying for my exams so i immediately began using it to take notes, read online text books. it’s just great, and if you have the chance i would suggest getting it. Apple has a student discount for both the IPad and the Apple Pencil which helps you save a little bit of money. Another thing i suggest is looking at apples refurbished website. They have iPad Pro 2018 models going for $500-600 and it still works with the newest version of the Apple Pencil.
this video is really well done, btw. it's concise, you cover all of the information i could care about. it's all time-stamped. i don't feel like you're wasting my time. really well done. the only improvement you could possibly make is to periodically overlay the price tag of each device as you reference it. i couldn't keep the prices straight in my head as you were going through their differences but price is the unavoidable bottleneck for most people so I would hear a feature I liked or perhaps didn't care about without knowing how to value it in dollar amounts. anyway, well done! ty!
@@cameronbosch1213 I think they should have implement the A10X which is used in older Pro models, faster than the A10, but not as fast as the A12 and also Apple really should forget the dumb and stupid 32 GB base storage, this is the main drawback of the iPad 10.2", the bigger 128 GB model almost as expensive as the iPad Air 3...
i use the ipad 7gen 10.2 128GB and i have no problems with it. i use with the apple pencil and the magic keyboard. it’s not slow and can do detailed things too. as a student and artist using procreate, the ipad is good enough to do everything i need. since it’s a good ipad if ur on a budget, might as well buy the pencil if u use to take notes or draw or get the keyboard if u type a lot. highly. recommend
I don't really get the new iPad Pro, if all the rumours are true with a new one coming out later in the year with Micro-LED display and A14X chip. Makes no sense to buy the 2020 one now.
It’s absolutely worth buying... I bought it in January 2020 and till today it turned out to be best investment in terms of education and productivity. It’s worth every single penny.
I went with the air. I'm a nursing student that mainly uses it for note taking...the main reason why I upgraded from the budget one was for future-proofing. And I didn't get the pro because I am not doing things that will utilize it's full potential. It's gorgeous, don't get me wrong...but it also costs a pretty penny, and this air suits my needs just fine!
I'll probably end up getting the 10.2 because that fits into my budget. I'd very much like to see a review of the logitech case that has a trackpad built in when it releases.
The air 3 will have way longer support. And is just a lot more pleasing to use. So longterm the air 3 is definitely worth the extra money. It will pay itself just buy the longer lifespan or later resale value. But if you need it now and can only get the 10.2 then that’s an option of course.
daniel_960_ my gf usually gets my tech hand me downs, she is happy with me giving her iPhones when I upgrade, but iPads she rather me sell them, as she is happy with the OG iPad Air I agave her over 5 years ago, or whenever the original pro came out. For what she uses it for. Streaming content, email, and reading it still works brilliantly. For me the iPad is work, and I usually get the latest pro. This is the first one I’m not getting. The 2018 just works fine and I don’t use AR and not worth the hassle for an experience I won’t notice in Procreate or Rough animator.
I’m on my third iPad mini and I absolutely love them… A few years back I was going to upgrade to an iPad Pro 10.5 and trade my mini in but I loved reading on my mini so much that I ended up keeping both. I now have the iPad Pro 12.9 2020 edition and the iPad mini 5. I primarily use the mini for Kindle books and as sort of a back up iPad. I set the mini up with low back light and a matte screen cover to mimic the Kindle as close as I could. There may be an argument as to which phone is the best but when it comes to tablets nobody beats the iPad…nobody.
Guys the best deal as a student is a refurbished(basically new) ipad pro from 2018 11 inch with the student discount the pencil is basically free. It's not a huge improvement or difference 2018 to 2020. It's basically a laptop. Except it runs on an ipados and not an actual laptop os. But it's really nice to take notes with as a student. It's good to read and videos. That's where the deal is. But the others are cheaper and that's huge on its own right.
I bought the iPad Air 3 2 months ago and I think it’s the perfect iPad it haves a 10.5 inch screen good for multitasking media consumption drawling note taking studying it haves a A12 Bionic chip good camera Awesome Volume thin bezels smart connector Apple Pencil support keyboard support and controller support
I have really small hands, so the mini seems perfect for me. But I want an iPad to take notes, do you think it will be more comfortable with the iPad Air?

Watching this from iPad Air 2, In love of the thin bezels from iPad Pro 🤤
watching this on my non existent iPad because the screen decided to turn black and green while I was doing school😔
@@plum2843 what?! I'm sticking with Android tablets.
Adán Romero how do u handle it then? It’s hard to handle
I personally would get the iPad mini since it is small and doesn't take up too much space.
Or, You could buy the Pro Stand.
Wow, thanks, you just saved me from buying the Ipad 10.2 ! It’s incredible how noone talks about the A10 from this one.
There is a new version of this video that we just posted yesterday. Definitely watch it!
I always wait for ur video every night in india... Thanks for giving awsome content during quarantine 👍
You're welcome!
My dream iPad is the Pro but I don't NEED it, but I don't want the bad budget ipad or the small screen of the mini so I think the iPad Air is perfect.
I chose mini instead of 10.2 inch ipad and God I love it! Use it literally for anything, any day in a week. Fantastic product😍😍😍
Alek wójcik I love mine too. And I love being able to hold in it one hand.
329 it’s enough for most people
I just got my IPad Pro 2020... and I swear this is the new computer! Looks like and iPhone but uses like a MacBook..
I can’t wait for the magic keyboard to come 😍
Irishpete 1 week I think, they’re taking longer because of the situation going on
dude this is such a helpful video 10/10. told me everything i need to know about each and even gave examples of what kind of people should get which ipad? super great!!
*comments like 40yr old facebook mom*
Best comparison I've seen. Thanks sir.
Perfect iPad Pro it is!
a moment of silence for the people who bought the 10.2 inch ipad
Hahaha 😂
older cell phones (the ones before smartphones) had a jack identical to a headphone but it was smaller. this is what should be on all these devices "to small to have a headphone jack" i even have an adapter from back in the day and it worked on my xbox 360 controller.
-Vadim
Max Tech thanks for the feedback man I really do appreciate it!
My dream : i-pad pro
My mind : i-pad air
My hands : i-pad mini
My money : i-pad 7
My father i-m mad son
Best comment ever
Thanks for this video-you convinced me I’ll be happy with the Mini and I don’t need to put the extra money into the Air.
I want a Mini Pro that's just a small version of the 2020 pro with all the same features.
In Australia, the pro is $1650 for the cheapest 12.9 inch, while the iPad 7th gen is $539 for the cheapest version
I hope you get 1 million subs soon.
Can u give iPad Pro 2018 to me ? (Obviously you won't)
I suggest u do a giveaway
@@hariharm give him 800$ then
Good idea
The best and most complete iPad review o have ever seen. Congrats!
Loving the detailed comparisons! I’ve subscribed!
i am saving up for a ipad and was thinking "i dont know which ipad i should get" so i searched the word ipad you this was the perfect video thanks!!
NICE! Exactly what I needed. But probably I'll wait for base iPad update and then I'll buy. :) Nice video.
@@Yes_Im_Adarsh why would he want a Mac if he is looking for basic ipad
Vijey it’s sarcasm
The ipad 7 It is the basic model if you can't afford it just go for amazon tablets then 🤣🤣🤣
best unbiased reviews i have ever seen good luck bro
The Best Buy is - The 10.5 iPad Pro !!! Worth every money !!!
It still has the A10 chip same as iPad 10.2
A10 chip is a letdown for me. Although that 120hz display is amazing
@@Rash7 A10X chip its as powerful as the A11
If you’re a student who wants an iPad to do school work and studying, i suggest the newest iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil.
The ipad min i looks hella tempting. For gaming and stuff or even just using it as a large size phone
Good information. My wife’s happy that I’m getting an iPad Pro 2020 instead of a new MacBook Pro LOL
this video is really well done, btw. it's concise, you cover all of the information i could care about. it's all time-stamped. i don't feel like you're wasting my time. really well done. the only improvement you could possibly make is to periodically overlay the price tag of each device as you reference it. i couldn't keep the prices straight in my head as you were going through their differences but price is the unavoidable bottleneck for most people so I would hear a feature I liked or perhaps didn't care about without knowing how to value it in dollar amounts. anyway, well done! ty!
Basically roasting the 10.2 inch iPad
@@cameronbosch1213 I think they should have implement the A10X which is used in older Pro models, faster than the A10, but not as fast as the A12 and also Apple really should forget the dumb and stupid 32 GB base storage, this is the main drawback of the iPad 10.2", the bigger 128 GB model almost as expensive as the iPad Air 3...
smooth lines, clear dictions, very informative, aesthetic also.. thank you!!
Wow great video
This is a really good comparison that would help anyone new to Apple iPads and wondering which one to buy...
I will buy iPad Pro 2020 thanks for convincing me
Captain Beast nice
i use the ipad 7gen 10.2 128GB and i have no problems with it. i use with the apple pencil and the magic keyboard. it’s not slow and can do detailed things too. as a student and artist using procreate, the ipad is good enough to do everything i need. since it’s a good ipad if ur on a budget, might as well buy the pencil if u use to take notes or draw or get the keyboard if u type a lot. highly. recommend
I don't really get the new iPad Pro, if all the rumours are true with a new one coming out later in the year with Micro-LED display and A14X chip. Makes no sense to buy the 2020 one now.
is it really coming out?
There’s always one coming out, so ,keep waiting!
@@jcmftobi14 thanks I will and then I will have the latest and greatest while you guys have the old stuff!
What an amazing video. One of those who are REALLY useful. Thanks bro!
after completing the video, the only thing I need to know is Budget :')
It’s absolutely worth buying... I bought it in January 2020 and till today it turned out to be best investment in terms of education and productivity. It’s worth every single penny.
Ehh I’m happy with my mini iPad version 2
i have the same but it feels very slow now
Thanks dude. Im not an apple person. Your video is really short and clean. Keep it up, man!
honestly if mini comes with a type-c others won't sell
99 percent of people don’t care about type c.
Sam is it? 🤔 I thought otherwise. Yeah when I think about it the type c is more of a luxury than a necessity 🙃
some people have big hands
I have iPad Pro 2018 and I’m happy
Apple is getting so expensive I’m about to get my self a android smh 🤦♂️
You’ll have to get yourself 2 androids since the first one will probably slow down after a year or less :)
@@MaxTechOfficial no
Max Tech lmao you were probably sponsored by apple to sell the iPad Pro. Good job tho
@@MaxTechOfficial me using my android for 4 years and it still working perfectly: 👁👄👁
Nice video, but I have a question... If you had to choose between iPad Pro 10.5" and iPad Air, which one would you choose?
giving my mini to the wife and getting the pro 2020
We'll have to test that out! :)
daniel_960_ my gf usually gets my tech hand me downs, she is happy with me giving her iPhones when I upgrade, but iPads she rather me sell them, as she is happy with the OG iPad Air I agave her over 5 years ago, or whenever the original pro came out.
There may be an argument as to which phone is the best but when it comes to tablets nobody beats the iPad…nobody.
i love watching this cause i cant afford a single one of them
Bro I am broke rn I am not even close to the cheapest one
Same. I really want to make digital art. But I can’t afford any of these. But imma save up for the cheapest one lol
My mind says mini but my heart says pro :()
Same
