Amtrak Heartland Flyer's Big Game Train! Ride from Fort Worth to Dallas

Every year in October, Amtrak hosts a train on their Heartland Flyer called the Big Game Train which takes Oklahoma Sooners fans other passengers to Dallas for the football game. The Flyer's route is from Oklahoma City to Fort Worth and back daily. But for the event, they make a rare trip to Dallas. The Heartland Flyer always has one engine up front, 2 or 3 superliners, and another engine on the rear end. For the Game Train, they add 4 more superliners and even a lounge car which goes in the middle of the train.
So me and a couple of friends took the opportunity to ride in a lounge and rode the train to Dallas where we would hop on a westbound TRE to Irving to catch the Game Train deadhead back to Fort Worth.

The heartland flyer only goes from Oklahoma City to Fort Worth the only times it will go from Fort Worth. Dallas is on special occasions like the big game train. Which is once a year when Oklahoma and Texas play football against each other
