Can we take a moment to appreciate Michelle Ang's performance during the whole season, specially, the final episode when Omega says "Go back, Go back" it is heartbreaking.

Resistance is there and is not as rough as many make it out to be, but yeah... I don't see them enjoying it.

I just don‘t see them watching it, since they started the animated shows to get caught up with current live action productions. (Which is fine by the way.)
I don't believe Tech is dead, but I kind of hope he is even though he's my favorite character in this series. Not everything has to be a blood bath, but I'm so tired of all the death fake outs in everything. I'm glad yall liked this show and am excited for Ahsoka coming soon.
I don't think there is any possible way for someone to survive a one hundredish food drop. And it also looked like the tram would fall on top of him. So in all likelihood, Tech's body either was exploded by or broken up by the tram on impact.

I agree. I personally don't feel like the death was earned (I totally saw it coming; I was saying t multiple episodes "They're going to kill Tech"), because I don't think the core members of the Batch had it rough enough this season. Crosshair did, but they didn't. . But I can't deny the death was very well done when it happened and it would be cheap to say he survived

BUT the sole possibility of Tech being gone is soul-crushing :(
TBF a body wouldn't survive falling from that height and then having a train fall on top of it. At this point Tech's body would just be a mush and probably not suitable for a TV-PG audience.
omg the dude is dead lol and that's okay! When characters die in shows like this, it is way more meaningful and impactful. If he survived that cheapens his sacrifice.

Only game that would be a "bad batch game" would be Republic Commando. Which definitely is an amazing game that deserves a remaster
I like how the rouge one Easter eggs kinda foreshadow the main characters losing. Sacrificing themselves, losing loved ones, and the empire winning the day. I have a feeling season 3 will end much like rouge one did as well, a certain someone showing up and taking everyone out in a hallway
the season 2 finale of The Bad Batch reminds a lot of The empire strikes back, actually:
- One of the main characters gets taken. (Omega / Han Solo)
- One of the main characters is getting physically hurt a lot. (Crosshair getting drugged, Luke Skywalker‘s hand gets chopped off.)
But The Bad Batch goes even further to kill off one of their main characters with Tech.
Speaking of great looking animated shows. Holden and Jen totally need to watch Arcane!
Yep. Very sad but I hope Tech stays dead tbh. Stakes need to be higher for the rest of the crew in the final season.

Yeah I don't believe Tech is dead. Movies and tv have trained us all that if we dont see a body, theyre not dead and sometimes even if you do see a body theyre brought back in some way haha.

If you haven't figured it out, the mountain at the end is most likely the Emperor's Cloning project. He's been trying to perfect cloning tech to make force sensitive clones. The main plotline of past legends stories has been the Emperor making a clone that he can transfer his life into when his old body wears out.
Those are not clones.... Remember: t-shaped visiors = clones, the rest = stormtroopers

The fact that the doctor stated he wanted clones to experiment on, makes me strongly think something of Tech survives and is part of an experiment. I'd not be surprised to learn that Tech is made into a cyborg, maybe even the next model of the Echo machine from Clone Wars 7th Season. The Techno Union leadership may be gone, but the Empire probably took the schematics.
Middle season is like the middle first trilogy. I assume things will resolve somewhat bitter-sweet at the end of S3, but a little more sweet than bitter.
Think about this, this is a cloning facility. Couldn't they just clone Tech? And maybe part of what they're researching is how to clone, and keep the memories.

Closet to a bad batch game is Republic Commandos that is a great game one the best ones of the old school Star Wars shooters
I feel like Tech needs to “stay” dead. Death doesn’t seem to be real anymore in Star Wars and they keep resurrecting characters. Death needs to mean something, especially here I think. I can’t wait to see how they finish this series off and what the Bad Batch’s purpose ends up being. That’s been the one thing I’ve been a little sour on. It doesn’t seem like there’s been a real plan for them (one reason I didn’t care for Resistance) but I trust Dave Filoni to come up with an awesome finish.
If I had to guess, I'd say Emerie is a Clone of Jango, not Omega.

this finale is so tragic. Their biggest mistake was going back to a snake like Cid. Don't get me started on Saw who decided to blow the entire place and got nothing out of it

To me, Tech's death is even more tragic than Kanan's because Tech wasn't the team's leader, and he was the most innocent member of the whole squad other than Omega. What would've been darker is if Tech didn't shoot the hinge, but shot Wrecker's arm to prevent his brother from saving him.

My theory is that season 3 will be heartbreaking. It doesn’t make sense for clone force 99 to survive. My assumption is they will all be gone by the end of the series.

Omega is the only peice of the puzzle I could never got on board with. Brings my overall enjoyment down per show. Imo
People have survived much worse in Star Wars, but I really hope Tech is actually dead. He went out like a badass and bringing him back would cheapen his death.
I would lose so much respect for this show if Tech survived. You cant have 2 characters in your show who died and came back (Echo)...

doubt you're going to get through dbz and dbsuper anytime soon so im going to give a vegeta spoiler, that really will just wet jen's pallet to dragon ball. in dbsuper vegeta fails to beat the god of destruction beerus, he was about to die, excepting this god was beyond his limits. until beerus made the mistake of hitting bulma (vegeta's wife)..........
The reason we didn't see Tech's body is because there likely isn't a body anymore. Falling hundreds of feet would probably break his body on impact. And then the tram would fall on top of him likely flattening him. They can't show a body because it'd just be a bunch of Tech much stained on the side of a tram.
