That's why she's not wearing them at the end anymore. I also think Filoni is just intentionally trolling us at this point with all the cool villain helmets. I'm glad they never officially brought Tech back. He fell to his likely death and left an impression on the batch. I don't want that ever to have been undone and beat a horse that should be dead.
Another happy landing This finale was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one! I don't think anyone saw the happy ending coming, but we got it and omg i am so glad we did. Despite all of the other speculation it doesn't matter anymore. The batch did it, and that for me is satisfying enough. Everything has ended on a low note recently, so t see this was refreshing. Well done Filoni!
I am guessing that the epilogue scene was sometime before Rebels since older Hunter wasn't as gray and grizzled as Rex, Wolffe, and Gregor were in Rebels.
This episode was phenomenal. I'm so overwhelmed with emotion rn I can't even organize my thoughts but this was one of the best pieces of SW storytelling I've ever seen. I'm going to miss this show so much but I hope it leaves a lasting legacy like Clone Wars and Rebels did Also I know Omega said she was leaving to become a pilot but I'd love for her to get involved with the Hidden Path. That'd be so fitting for her to save more Force-sensitive kids like the ones she rescued on Tantiss And one more thing: since we know Project Necromancer was started up again at some point, I'm wondering if that means Tantiss didn't stay inoperational forever. If the live action stuff is venturing into Heir to the Empire territory I would not be surprised if we find out in Ahsoka season 2 or something that the Imperial remnant has been using it to conduct research again. I could see Omega transitioning to live action because of that - for some reason maybe the heroes need to inflitrate it (like in the books) and the only person left at that point who knows the layout is her. Hello There , I loved this series from start to finish! The characters, the stories , the lore ! I’m gonna miss it ! I believe Star Wars Animation is the future & im loving it !
I would have liked to see Vader with Palpatine seeing with Tarkin the disaster caused. Maybe we will see Omega in live-action, in the movie that will connect all the series.
I like this finale, this closes the chapter of Clone Force 99. What's left now is Rex, Echo, Wolffe, Gregor, Howzer and the other clones now esp Senator Chuchi. Im wondering at what point of the Galactic Civil War did Omega join the Rebellion. I do really hope she meets big brother, Boba Fett, at some point.
My guess is that this is after the Battle of Yavin. Based on Rebels, the Rebellion was still in its early years prior to Yavin. The ABY years were when the Civil War got into full gear.
so i see 2 shows set up from this that they may make next. One is the underground with Ventress and Quinlan. 2 The clone rebellion with Cuchi being their leader and most likely her death and ill be sad i like her. Neither will have Omega as i think they want to rest her for a bit. I'm thinking her going off was about return of the jedi when the rebels need people most after getting hit hard in empire strikes back.
Hunter's hair is plentiful and gray-ish but not white like Rebels era Rex. Also Omega is "Pure First Generation DNA" like Boba or rather "Alpha" so she has to be between Boba Fett and Rex in age. Boba Fett was born in 32 BBY. This means she spent most of the series on either side of 14 years. She could be the same age as Luke and Biggs 5-6 years later, 10 BBY. And she knows Hera...and A New Dawn takes place in 11BBY... Just saying...
I freaking loved this great finale, it’s so sad it’s done 😢 It’s also a shame that’s it’s being over shadowed by xmen97 which is great too but I wish they moved it to another day !!!
What a pisser. I was hoping for Omega and Asajj. Guess we aren't really seeing a bunch more of her. 😕 That means the only character we may see in future is Echo.
@@dragoninthewest1His hand loss signifies his life of freedom in a way. He’s lost his shake which represented his trauma. He lost his shooting hand, representing him no longer needing to fight or be a solider.
That's the most satisfying thing about it. After all the hardships when even episodes felt like they had no hope... just like the clone prisoners said, they have one more fight. Always hope. And it paid off. Absolutely incredible writing. I was expecting the worst for them but they and we got the best I could never imagine.
I just wish we had it come full circle with Rex, Cody, Wolffe and Gregor coming in, a prolonged clone rebellion starting at last. Because we also never saw that enough with what Rex and echo were doing. Definitely not what the story was centered around so I get it but it’s what I’ve always wanted to see happen. Hopefully in another show.
@@acdragonrider I just don't think it was plausible that they would be there at the exact same time as CF99 when they didn't even know how or when they'd get there. It was a great fan theory or expectation but also far-fetched.
It was not Tech, lol - it was just another clone as they had pretty much told us all season. I'm glad it wasn't, too - his sacrifice wouldn't have been as impactful BUT he lives on through Omega and they kept his spirit and memory alive throughout and I'm glad for it. Great finale; so emotional and bittersweet and the Kiners were killing it as usual with the music. Also, super happy that the Zillo Beast got a happy ending, too, lol! Can't wait to see if there's more in store. 🙂
yeah, i think star wars is finally trying to get away from the whole "character dies, has huge emotional impact, but oh guess what they're actually alive so nevermind!" it just makes it mean so much more when death is a finality, although they've inadvertently trained the fans to always look everywhere for the death fakeout so much that we don't fully grieve a character because we always have that doubt in the back of our mind. I've watched tons of reactions where right after tech dies the reactors get a little sad, but then 5 seconds later they'e like "well tech is gonna come back somehow so don't worry."
Idk if you guys heard the line because you were chatting during it, but after the Batch see the Zillo, the best line in the show is Crosshair asking, "Echo's handiwork, or Omega's?" And without hesitation, Hunter and Wrecker both come back with, "Omega's." I laughed out loud; they know their girl.
100% we are going to see adult Omega somewhere in another show or live action. I would personally want her to be in the next live action. Badass blonde girl you don't see much often
I was satisfied with this finale. I liked the fact Tech wasn't brought back, doing so (I feel) would have ruined his sacrifice at the end of last season. Looking forward to more adventures with adult Omega in the future. I can see her and Hera reuniting and teaming up. Also, GET F""KED RAMPART! 🤣🤣
The combat in this episode was particularly brutal, there was a lot of straight up kills, amputations, and lots of quadruple tapping and headshots, it's certainly not a kid's show anymore. also ACTUAL DEMONSTRATION OF A HYPERLANE! THE BATCH LEAVES THE SYSTEM ON THE SAME HYPERLANE TARKIN ARRIVED ON! AND AN EARLY EMPIRE MIXED IMPERIAL I AND VENATOR CLASS FLEET, I FUCKING LOVE THE ANIMATORS BRO
When you think about, the two were on almost opposite trajectories during the OT era - Omega's kind of an idealist who ultimately joins the Rebellion because that's the right thing to do, while Boba's a cynical bounty hunter who only looks out for himself - it's only after his near-death experience and the events afterwards that he starts developing his own set of ideals. Imagine the two meeting way after Boba went through all that shit.
26:18 that’s what I said, each of the 4 mirrors someone from the original bad batch. The green sniper CX is Crosshair, the red goggle one is Tech, the big brute one who uses a shield to get closer is wrecker, and the last one is Hunter
Absolutely phenomenal finale. Perfect and safe. Safe and perfect. Omega for rogue squadron movie !!! I balled when she said she was joining the rebellion.
Hear me out, next show could be something called Tales of 99 which could be animated shorts that talks about all the Bad Batch plans and tactics from 1-99 and it would take place before Bad Batch season 1 and in between Bad Batch season 7. This way people will still be happy to see the Bad Batch and we'll see all 5 members interact each other more which is something we rarely saw.
It was sad to say goodbye but also happy we didn't get the tragic ending we were all dreading. I was wondering where Star Wars animation can go after this. Now knowing Omega joined the Rebellion and Project Necromancer restarts, I'm thinking a Pre-Mandolorian series would be interesting.
The Shadow Trooper might have been made with Tech's DNA... but he was never him. Tech had his noble death at the end of season 2. As we learned in this series, in addition to Clone Wars, and even Rebels, the clones are individuals. They might share the same donor DNA, but that doesn't define who they truly are. Great reaction to a fine series. I'm already missing it. I also look forward to the future, and what it holds.
I'm glad they let tech stay dead. Too many sacrifices get undone these days. Bold choice. I also like the way you never really know about the brainwashed clones. Maybe they killed Cody? Maybe they didn't. It gives them more mystery. I am assuming tantis will stay sealed until heir to the empire.
The show, via Hemlock, literally told us there wasn't really anything left of Tech other than his glasses. That's what happened in the plot. He had no motive to lie. Falling from a great height causes cells to rupture, blood vessels break open, brains to stop functioning. Hemlock's not a Loki like mischievous character who'd say someone's dead when he's really captured and turned, he's a dick who likes to gloat about his enemy's losses. It's what he repeatedly does. Gloating about something that's a lie isn't him.
I'd love a show in the same animation style that follows Rex and Echo and their whole clone crusade thing. It still feels like there's an entire story that hasn't been told that takes place between this and Rebels.
I’m glad they let echo fight more this final episode showing why he’s still an arc trooper
Tech was never that clone assassin 😂. I’m content to leave it that he died in season 2
Same.
YES! Finally a Star Wars character that stays dead 😂

37:58 That was fucking epic! Finally, seeing a Venator and an Imperial Star Destroyer next to each other. Something that never happened before!
I didn’t even realize this was the first time we’ve seen them operate together.

Yea I also agree to ramparts own ambition killing him yes.. the *imperial* way of dying
The combat in this episode was particularly brutal, there was a lot of straight up kills, amputations, and lots of quadruple tapping and headshots, it's certainly not a kid's show anymore.

ACTUAL DEMONSTRATION OF A HYPERLANE! THE BATCH LEAVES THE SYSTEM ON THE SAME HYPERLANE TARKIN ARRIVED ON! AND AN EARLY EMPIRE MIXED IMPERIAL I AND VENATOR CLASS FLEET, I FUCKING LOVE THE ANIMATORS BRO
I was so hyped when I saw the ISD-1 (I’m assuming ISD Executrix). I was wondering if we would see one to bridge the gap.
@@sirboomsalot4902 Indeed! And I'm so glad it was in a mixed fleet composition, just 3 of them would have felt off.
To paraphrase Kyle - this gives us Clonesure.
An ISD in Clone Wars animation. Now we need Boba (Alpha) and Omega to meet. Brother and sister.
Man Jango is alpha, Bobba is Beta 😉
@@carlosandres7006nope, boba is alpha as he’s the original clone, jango doesn’t have any nickname like that
When you think about, the two were on almost opposite trajectories during the OT era - Omega's kind of an idealist who ultimately joins the Rebellion because that's the right thing to do, while Boba's a cynical bounty hunter who only looks out for himself - it's only after his near-death experience and the events afterwards that he starts developing his own set of ideals.
Imagine the two meeting way after Boba went through all that shit.
They got to grow old and LIVE 😭🖤🤍 my heart…I love this show
now someone needs to spot adult Omega's ship in the shot of Rise of Skywalker "there's more of us" :D
when they were breaking out I was just yelling: "ONE WAY OUT, ONE WAY OUT, ONE WAY OUT!!!"
Next series will most likely we’ll get an Omega/Hera reunion.
Hemlock's death is one of the most satisfying deaths in the Star Wars universe.
A series called 99 tales or something like that
It was sad to say goodbye but also happy we didn't get the tragic ending we were all dreading. I was wondering where Star Wars animation can go after this. Now knowing Omega joined the Rebellion and Project Necromancer restarts, I'm thinking a Pre-Mandolorian series would be interesting.
Gonky probably talked Omega into joining up...Dude was always looking for a fight. GONK!
We all have been looking forward for this
Absolutely! 🎉
Pantora becoming a hideout for clones is amazing I’d like to see more of riyo chuchi’s fight for clone rights with Dr Carr
adult omega looks so much like tech it makes me so emotional
I'M SO HAPPY WITH HOW THEY TIMED THE BAD BATCH FINALE AND THE RELEASE OF TALES OF THE EMPIRE.
Bring on the solo adventures of Omega!
Yes!! This!! ☝🏼
Or rogue squadron!
omg yes!
I’m betting they’re working on it
Gotta give Hemlock credit for taking those shots like a champ lol
I'd love a show in the same animation style that follows Rex and Echo and their whole clone crusade thing. It still feels like there's an entire story that hasn't been told that takes place between this and Rebels.
