    Here's what you will need.
3 ounce pack Lime Jello or flavor of your choice
8 ounce pack of cream cheese at room temperature
    3/4 cup boiling water
3/4 cup of water with ice
    Thanks for watching.

Starting with her earliest videos and moving forward through time, you get a picture of a lovely couple and their dogs, and a glimpse into lives well-lived. I have a lump in my throat typing out this comment with Phyllis's voice in the background, talking about not adding too many kinds of fresh fruits, such as pineapple, and how that will keep the Jell-O from setting.
She and hubby "Mr. Bucky" were just the best. I hope you'll check out the other videos, and that you get enjoyment as so many of us have.

I use to make all kinds of jello molds at a high end senior living. A great tip if you forget to take cream cheese and is not at room temp, you may cube up and add to hot water mixture…stir until dissolved. After add your cold water mixture. Also, if adding any fresh fruit, cottage cheese or whipped cream, decrease cold water by 1/8-1/4 c. I was taught that any wet ingredient added to jello you use less water as your adding more moisture to jello. Just wanted to share.
There’s one jello mold that I always had fun making was a sunset jello. It’s made in layers.

I still can't get over that they're not with us anymore, but I'm sure they're having a great old time in heaven! 🌈 I ate this dessert as a child and fixed it as a young wife and mother. Sometimes I'd add some chopped pecans to it, and after cutting it into squares, I'd add a small dollop of mayo on top with a cherry. It was such a pretty salad and always gave a special touch to the meal.
I remember we had a couple that we hung out with, who dropped by while I was putting supper on the table one evening, (as they often did,) 🙄and the woman said, 'oh my, aren't we fancy!' I laughed and said no, it's just a favorite of ours. She never cooked and they ate out most every meal. I was staying home at the time with our new son and always enjoyed cooking for my husband. One of my very favorites of Phyllis was 'tomato pie'! Yum!

Oh yes! I rinse my 12 teabags (after a rolling boil) 3 times into my pitcher...squezing them with each into the pitcher where I have dissolved 1 and 1/2 c.of sugar to the first initial pot of the boiled tea...add more water and stuff to make the gallon.A friend told me a few years ago a secret they use (at a well known Christian chicken restaurant chain she worked at) to get rid of the foam you may get on to of the gallon of tea when you're done..add 1 tsp of baking soda to the gallon and stir. This has been a traditional family method for my TN, GA and SC family for as long as I can remember and I'm 60.We like a stout tea that you can taste the flavor in Especially when it's Summer and need lots of ice in it! I can get waterlogged so fast on it then, and SO fantastic freshly made! It will get a bit cloudy and sweeter if refrigerated.Start with as much or no sugar to your liking and stir well before starting and adding more little by little until it is perfect to taste!

I love this type of dessert. Brings back fond memories of family get togethers. Does anyone remember "poke cakes'? You would start with a yellow sheet cake and poke holes all over with a pencil then pour chocolate pudding on top. It would seep into the holes and create a moist delicious cake. There was another variation that used Jell-O in place of the pudding.

Manch Vegas oooh! That sounds absolutely delicious!! Me and my grandma make a Puerto Rican desert called 'tres leche cake' or three milk cake! It's pretty much the same thing, yellow sheet cake but we use condensed, sweet and one other milk I can't remember, then we make our own whipped cream and frost it, it's absolutely delectable!!

I'm going to cut it into squares, add a small dollop of mayo, some grated cheese and a cherry on top. This takes me back to being a young bride and cooking for my new husband! A salad/dessert like this just adds a little something extra to the meal and it's SO pretty and tastes wonderful...very pretty for a Christmas dessert too!🎄

Carlos, my Dad was sent to US ARMY Cooks & Bakers School in Cheyenne, WY from Kansas City, KS soon after WW2 had begun and then on over across the Pond where he served as an Army Cook. When he returned after the war, I was born not long after and a yr later, my sister was born, followed 8 yrs later by our brother. Linda left this world on Christmas Eve, 2017 of multiple illnesses, but during her very active years as a homemaker raising two children alone, she dazzled everybody on all sides of our families with the amazing things she cooked so well: fried chicken (perfection), mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese, tacos, enchiladas and much more. When a large family group was planning to get together for Easter (example), she got many requests for what we teased her calling, "melted butter with whipped Mashed Potatoes mixed in!" OMG, they were good and THAT bowl was emptied quickly even though she brought a giant bowl filled to the brim! My Brother's specialty is "all things BBQ" - ribs that easily fall from their bones, hamburgers that nearly melt in your mouth, and his Hot Dogs have ever ounce of salt cooked right out! Oh, boy they're good. I grew up being shy about cooking until the instant my wife and I got married; she still had one yr of college. Because I got home from teaching K-12 Vocal Music while she was in Marching Band practice or at the library studying, I prepared our supper. After her graduation, we moved from Iowa to Ohio for graduate school music (Organ, Choir directing, composing, Liturgical Music practices, Voice and Harpsichord). Sometimes we took turns cooking - then to supplement our income, she traveled around Springfield, OH giving piano lessons to half a dozen children early evenings, and again I took on the cooking. I soon found out that the men in our small church were all cooks - and great ones at that. So I finally abandoned being shy about being male and enjoying cooking. Oh boy, the pounds sure began piling on: I merged from looking like an unsharpened, thin lead pencil to the opposite.
