I am 99 yrs old and believe it or not the jello pies actually came out in the 1950s. I remember because I made back in the 1950s when jello was concerned a wonderful goodie. I still make them for me and my dogs.

I grew up with my mom making Koolaid Pies. All u need is a gram craker pie shell, a tub of cool whip and on packet of any flavor koolaid. Mix the koolaid into the cool whip, pour into crust and refrigerate. Now that I have granddaughters I make them and they LOVE them as much as we did!

The first one my mom made all the time but didn't put it in a pie shell. It was called "Easy Bavarian" and was like a parfait. Also to avoid the little jello "bumps" in the bottom of the bowl, put the hot water in first and then slowly add the jello a little at a time so it dissolves thoroughly.

I’ve never used pre-made graham or chocolate pie crusts. I noticed you didn’t bake first. What a time saver! These no bake recipes all look delicious.

My mom makes a similar peanut butter pie except she uses a Graham cracker crust and spread Nutella on the bottom before she adds in the filling. Takes it to another level.

We always made these with my mother but we just mixed jello straight into cool whip mixed well and put in pie shell no mixing the jello with water then you have bolder taste of flavor from jello

That first one with the jello reminds me of the yogurt pies we made back in the late 70s. A container of whatever flavor of yogurt you prefer, mixed with a container of Cool Whip. Spread into a graham cracker crust, use the plastic crust protector as a lid, and throw it in the freezer for at least a couple of hours. Voila! Frozen yogurt pie! So refreshing on a hot day.

I’m new here. Great recipes! I make a peanut butter pie recipe that’s pretty similar to yours but am making my first Oreo Cookie Cheesecake today. I’m doubling the recipe and I cheated by getting the ready Oreo Cookie pie crusts from the store. Thanks for the videos. I like how you get right to the recipes and the great camera work!

Nice recipes, thanks! I step outside of tradition a bit when making tiramisu as well, I use a microplane to grate dark chocolate over the top instead of using cocoa powder. Just a personal preference.

My Mil used to make the Jello with Cool Whip but would add drained fruit cocktail, chopped nuts, and chopped maraschino cherries. SO good! Your pie looks amazing but I wonder if you could add sliced strawberries on top...

I just loove watching all your video's, but this one especially was super helpful for me! I was watching all the deserts being made and thought to myself, I wish there was a an east way to make Tiramisu, it's my absolute favorite and I rarely have it, and I've been wanting to try and make it myself, but it seems a bit complicated to me for some reason😔 but low amd behold...the last and final desert you made, was Tiramisu! It made my week🤗 I can definitely do this. Thank you🥳

For the lime one, we use Ritz crackers from the Kenji Lopez-Alt version that was posted on Serious Eats years ago. The salty/buttery flavor plays well with the lime.
