    We do love the V4S, last rode the 2020/2021, that was directly after riding the Panigale V4S and it was much easier below 60mph to be on the Streetfighter, the Panigale only woke up beyond 70!

    I’ve still got my 2020 V4s and have gone up to Yorkshire from Sussex and have had no problem with it in traffic/low speed, it changes gear much better in race shift, I can’t really see the point in getting the latest bike as absolutely love my bike. Put sintered pads in the front and the bike stops even better not that they were bad before..

    Good riding there on a beast of a machine. Love it. Please include the KTM Superduke when you do the BATTLE OF THE NAKEDS. I'd rather have that in the line up than the MT10 if I had to choose. It belongs. Or have them both with Tuono (my favorite bike) and the Streetfighter. Can't wait!!

    Yeah 100%.. rode my mates new 2023 SFV4s - its such a great bike to ride now.. you can bumble in 3rd doing legal speed limit on A-roads and then take it to the extreme on Welsh B-roads but all without the need to rev the nuts of it. Its like an elevated level from my Hyper, and a serious contender if I ever wanted to change from my L-twin 🧐

    • @k1mura92
      @k1mura92 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey hypermotardking! Love your channel mate, I was seriously considering getting a Hypermotard RVE last year as my first bike, but ended up for a GSX-S1000 '22 naked. If you were to change bikes to for instance the streetfighter or any other bike, what would you be looking to improve on from the Hypermotard? Practicality? Power? Comfort?

    • @hypermotardking
      @hypermotardking ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@k1mura92 Thanks Boss 🤛🏼🤛🏼.
      For me on the UK roads and Track days the bike has to give me feedback, grip and confidence in the corners and stability on the brakes. The Hyper can easily achieve this with only 110bhp and I can keep up with most 1000cc bikes.
      I did a test ride (on channel) on a Monster SP, Multi V4 PP, Panigale V4R and SFV4s.. and hands down I’d chop my Hyper for the new 2023 SFV4s.
      If it wasn’t for a new design Hyper landing in 2024 (rumours at moment) then Id get the SF right away 👍🏻

As my 4th Ducati,it is easily the best,because of the Electronics, which make it a pleasure to Ride.What I do not understand is other Ducati's have a Fuel Gauge,why not the SF? I do get better mileage per Tank than my mates V4S,and I ride it as quick,but his needs fuel c.150 kms.Mine's good for 200,before a light appears(?), and supposedly I still have 50 kms to go. I'm 76,but fit so I think I'll keep this until Ducati bring out something better.We'll see!

Haven’t ridden the 2023 SFV4S, and maybe it has improved, but I’m loving the BMW. The Ducati does look better - but I can’t see it when I’m riding it, and these days I’m solely interested in the experience.

      @rodneyst1807 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree with this comment but to say you’d easily keep with one on the road with the bikes you’ve described I disagree. I’ve moved up through the bikes, ridden 765RS’s etc and their more than enough for the road and great bikes but if you’ve got a good rider on the likes of a SFV4S or Tuono V4 1100 Factory your not keeping up with one easily for sure if at all! The Litre+ bikes, especially V4’s and V-Twins have a lot more torque and coming off corners etc are in a different league let alone tapping into the top end which isn’t always that accessible on the road but that depends how crazy you are too!

      There may be loads of video here there and everywhere but how an earth do you know the rider on the smaller bike is just simply a better rider full stop? You don’t?!
      I just laugh when I read comments like yours tbh because not being funny half the time it’s from people who simply can’t afford one so dreams that what they’ve got is good enough!
      There’s usually a good reason why you pay more, the electronics on these bikes are another level to the likes of a 890, 765RS, MT09 etc. Everyone has an opinion and that’s fair enough but I’m only speaking from experience of owning middleweight bikes and my last few 1100 Tuono Factory and this and I’ve got no reason to dress it up

      @rodneyst1807 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DucatiDalethat’s a fair point and the MT09’s are lovely bikes and if that’s what your more than happy with then fair play! But I’ll firmly stand by my word there’s a good reason why there’s such a price difference between yours and a SFV4S but unless you really want to take the bike to the point where you really want to see the difference then that’s upto you. I actually owned a 1200RS before this and the confidence to ride a SFV4S with intent in comparison is a different level! The electronics are miles better and the feedback (even with having all the suspension properly setup on the 1200RS) you can’t compare!
      I’ll apologise about the price comment tbf that isn’t always the case but can quite often be!
      It’s one of them cases we’ll agree to disagree. Main thing is that your happy with what your riding and enjoy it!

  • @ExpressionOfNothing

    @LambChopRides Hi Chopsi! This might sound confusing at first, but hear me out. Engine Braking Level 3 is actually giving you more braking, but it also removes play in the throttle. This is why the throttle feels smoother and less stuttery. Had to figure this out as well. Rides much better like this for sure!

    • @sp00ky1969
      @sp00ky1969 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It might alter throttle response but I don’t see how it could remove the play that’s present in the throttle as that’s mechanically built into the mechanism.

    • @ExpressionOfNothing
      @ExpressionOfNothing ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sp00ky1969 You’re right about the mechanical play. But it is barely an issue since the spring holds the handle tight once opened. There is a „dead zone“ when using engine braking modes one and two though. It feels weird when you close the throttle since you have to get past that dead spot for the vehicle to start slowing down. It’s the same effect as if you would step on a stationary escalator.

    • @sp00ky1969
      @sp00ky1969 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ExpressionOfNothing I have a Panigale SP2 that I use on track and I haven’t noticed any dead zone as the throttle goes from open to fully closed when braking. For getting onto maintenance throttle I find it much easier with no play. 🤷‍♂️

    • @ExpressionOfNothing
      @ExpressionOfNothing ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sp00ky1969 Not sure if the V2 does the same thing as the V4. But this is how it is for me in low engine braking modes: Open the throttle until the point you‘re holding constant speed. Now when you try to reduce speed, you have to turn the throttle down over a threshold (a few degrees) before the engine braking kicks in and slows the bike down. This is what I mean with „dead zone“. And this makes the bike feel sluggish at times. This dead zone is more noticeable at lower speeds and goes away in the highest of the engine braking settings. It is especially noticeable when compared back to back with bikes like a BMW S1000RR that has a very smooth electronic throttle.
