Your buddy is running a MAX6 with the v2 motor right? On 8s, how are the temps? And how is it compared to yours. Thinking about buying an X-Maxx v2 with the MAX6
We haven't measures any temps but its now getting how to touch

I'm not sure if you are lucky as I've watched videos and been on forums and the x maxx is like almost all other traxxas stuff it breaks way to much way to easy till nothing traxxas is even left

Perfectly, no issues yet. Even if I do get the odd failure these 8s diffs are super cheap.
Kevin Talbot hey I change my ring gears on both diffs there put in how they came out what are some things to check having issue with lock up

Why did you take the wheelie bars off?
I don't like it, it stops me doing stunts and wont let me do propper wheelies. Wheelie bar = stabilisers on a bike, once you learn how to ride you take them off

shrand: 6s it does, I have one and I shredded them all the time, upgraded to the stock 8s and I havent even shredded a single tooth yet. Kevin runs the v2 x maxx so it comes with the 8s diffs as the v2 is an 8s truck.

Yep, thats it! I did break some after market shock shafts but no standard 8s shafts
