Man I just want a maxx no matter how good the x maxx is its to big for some things but the maxx seems perfect
The Maxx is falling over super easliy, X Maxx doesnt., i had the Maxx and i sold it,, i got my self an X Maxx, theres no other better rc car in the world.
Get the X Maxx, belive me its worth it
@@SkyBoxRC I agree with Oscar. Too big for everyday use imo. Who wants to lug that around, I'm not portaging with a X-MAXX (not knocking the X-MAXX, it is Traxxas' flagship product and an amazing beast at that scale) MAXX 4S is pure perfection once you get a grip with its handling characteristics

Hi Kevin, I know you haven't had this Maxx for very long but I've been thinking about getting one versus An Revo 2.0 which do you think is better so far?

He's said in his live streams that he loves the maxx, and that the e Revo 2.0 has a recurring problem which seems pretty annoying

Kev great video love it, I have been wanting to ask you does Stemps Thunder Tiger nitro still have the original glow plug because I know it does because he never buys parts, it is insane it is still going with a JB welded engine LOL!!!!! Can you do more nitro videos please ( I know you can't please everyone) LOL:)

If I didn't have my stampede, I'd definitely be getting one of these. It's built so much better out of the box. Were you running 3S or 4S in it? Seemed a bit slow when you were hitting the huge jump near the end.

Love your ability to get so many RC vehicles purchased and tested. I’m disabled, and unable to work, so tight budget. I went out and bought a WLTOYS 124019 and love it! I’m saving for a badger, love the look of these!!!

@@KevinTalbotTV they can definitely end badly if you get off a straight plane 😝. My best advice is to brake early off the jump, rotate and correct/level off ASAP. Fronties are definitely more challenging 🤗
Got myself a Maxx a few weeks ago and I am in love. It's incredibly sturdy, though I don't bash quite so hard. I Installed the WideMaxx kit a few days ago and it feels much better than stock, not just in turning stability but also with the increased spring rate.

Hey Kev, do you mostly run 6s or 8s in your Xmaxx and what gearing do you run?
Love the milife comment haha. You have some great stuff coming up. That typhon. Is awesome. Excited for the limitless. When is the long jump comp? Whats the goo you use for the session cam to the body? Also.. Shoe glue and shoe goo ate 2 way different things. Might be a source of your gaff tape lifting.

Just wait till you add the Wide Maxx kit, and steel drive shafts. Its like a whole different truck! It takes it to a whole new level.

Nice. My Maxx 4s is my most durable RC in my bashing stable, which includes the Typhon 6s, Outcast 6s Kraton 6s, Redcat Kaiju and even the xmaxx 8s 👍.

For the price the Maxx should come with the longer arms, I am amazed Traxxas put it into production without sorting it's handling first. They should bring out a 2.0 version with wider arms as standard. I was originally really keen on getting one as I thought it would look good along side my E-Maxx but I think on this occasion I'll go for the 4s Kraton, cheaper and doesn't fall over all the time.
Breaks just s much if not more. Kraton need ms a lot of upgrades to go launch it like these TH-cam guys.

I have a v1 erevo brushless that I crashed into a car wheel full speed and did the same thing as your max. Had to replace my front bulkhead, aarm, chassis and steering mount.

kris hatley yeah I have the new 2.0 with all the bug fixes and I have had zero issues with self righting. I hope you figure it out :)
Watching the skatepark action I had the impression that the rear of Mini Maxx is not as planted as the Front. Landing jumps the car's rear seems quite unstable and causing trouble to keep it upright.
