Thanks for sharing Paul. That was a good buy from Aldi, and another great video. Nice to see Peter being more confident with his cooking. Keep them coming.
Well for a island, & not millions of places to cooking outside well done, a Fantastic view! .....Boy's sure appreciate you and your quality content! Luv&Peace from Sask Canada Cheers !🙂✌
Peter takes a good smell of the brew before taking the sip. There is a guy who knows how to settle down and enjoy the good things in life. You guys are so great. Back and forth tween brothers over a spoon. I enjoyed that. Aldi is amazing. We have them in our part of the US. Great stuff as always!
Another cracking video Paul. Have seen these meal kits in the store but always passed by them. I never thought about these as camp food but will do so now. That a good buy from Aldi cheers for sharing with us. I would add a pitta bread, wrap or small nan bread to go with it. Many thanks for suggesting this
I loved the way Peter smiled when you dropped the spoon on the ground, that was so funny. We have Aldi here in Tennessee, I'll have to check for meals.
Well done Peter, that looked the business mate. Yours too Paul. I always look to The Woodland Kitchen, always full of good ideas. Great entertainment, thanks guys. Take care. Steve. 👍👍
Well done Paul, I can clearly see Peters confidence growing, don’t let him revert back, keep the pressure on, you are a top guy the way you look after him, my respect man
Nice one boys, I was surprised how well Peter took it when the dog had his brew over, very Diplomatic, we found your dog, a great one liner, and Paul start doing a check list mate, top of the list, number one..........SPOONS. . . Loved it Lads. keep em coming. Big Al.
A good friend of mine passed away about 10 years ago. Among the things I got included a stainless Swedish Army mess kit with 2 burners. I had to watch some videos to see what it was as I had never even heard about an alcohol stove. Those little stoves are amazing. I haven't done cooking from scratch, but I have made a lot of coffee/tea and heated up some soups and stews. I reckon if all the prep work was done I could cook it in the kit without any problems. FYI I ordered off ebay the BCB Crusader cooker from the UK which I plan on using with my Trangia stove. I figure I can use my GI canteen cup. We have an Aldi not too far from us. I might check them out. Take care and God bless, Ken.
Thanks Sandy, I think they are a great as a "Ready to go meal". With the colder months approaching we don't need to worry about a fridge ;) And they taste good!
Great vid very entertaining. You two were like a double act with the spoons very amusing. Good to leave funny content in your vids like that makes it more real and less scripted. Keep up the good work. All the best Pete
nice vid paul and food looked good mate, good to see more of peter and watching him get stuck in, he did well, hes got a good tutor in you, keep em coming, cheers…….johny
Great video Paul maybe you could make Peter a pre prepped cook bag for your next woodland meal good to see him smile and enjoy the experience, the spoons made me laugh.
You two bicker like an old married couple! :o) Gotta love Aldi and Lidl. All the essentials, with added "boy toys" every other week. I bought a belt sander/grinding wheel in Lidl last week.
Great video again Paul. Thanks for doing a small pot cook. Trouble is because I'm a potaholic I'm now going to have to get the zebra lunchbox haha. Looking forward to the next one.
Really enjoyed the brother-banter lads! I live thousands of miles away from mine but next time I'm home I'll drag the pair of them out to have a natter while we cook some curry in the woods on a pair of Trangias. Looking forward to the next episode fellas.
They are good meal kits for a simple way to cook outdoors. Everything contained in one package and the prep is all done for you. Why didn't I think of doing this before?
Great video as usual mate, unfortunately there’s no Aldi in Northern Ireland for some reason, I’ll have to check Lidl and see if they’ve any of the meal kits.. Thanks again for your videos..👍👍
No probs, I've made the same mistake myself experimenting with a pop can spirit burner and a DIY windshield/pot stand. Need to strike the balance between wind deflection and air supply. I think Trangia got it sussed with the 25/27 series. :-)
Apologies if this has already been answered, but what is the name/brand of the windshield that you use? I can't find anything similar on the Trangia website, but perhaps that's me being dim!
You won't find it on Trangia because it's not Trangia! Here's a link to Ebay www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Aluminium-Foldable-Camping-Hiking-Cooking-Stove-Windshield-Break-Protector-UK/192447814011?hash=item2ccec8997b:g:vQgAAOSwZrhaeHKH
Paul Bisseker Bushcraft Yes I see that from your other videos , my wife and I really enjoy watching you guys ourselves we like cooking in cast iron outside keep the vids coming thnx
Very nice. But it's more useful to me when you cook the whole thing from scratch, including the spicy sauce. Then I'm sure I can replicate the recipe myself. No Aldi grocery stores here in Oregon. :)
Hey Paul, what kind of tea or coffee do you like? I like my foldgers coffee but I like my Lipton tea Sweet and with ice. Not a fan on hot tea unless it's super cold out. Just curious.
I have that nescafe Cafe vanilla and its not bad. I don't think I have tried Yorkshire I will have to give it a try. Thanks again. Hope your day is going well. Much love to you and yours my friend.
Like my Zebra pot, perfect for curries and what not.Good cook-out lads, nice one Pete. And,good to know you put your tranny out Paul, bit like the cat last thing at night...

Yet again...lol
BeatRapist good for you! Keep up the cooking brother.
Great video. Use the covers for a faster cook.
If you'd given that Trangia better ventilation rather than smothering it in the windshield it would have boiled more quickly. Just a thought...
I thought that too. I will loosen the windshield off next time and see how it goes ;) Thanks for pointing it out Alan.
No probs, I've made the same mistake myself experimenting with a pop can spirit burner and a DIY windshield/pot stand. Need to strike the balance between wind deflection and air supply. I think Trangia got it sussed with the 25/27 series. :-)
