    Glad to hear you found the video helpful. It depends why you are feeling numbness in your toes. If it's because your shoe is fitting too tight in he midfoot, the parallel lacing technique may provide you a bit more room while still holding you comfortably in the shoe. If your toes are too close to the toe box, that can also cause numbness. The bruised toe lacing technique addresses a sore or cramped big toe. It also may be that you need a bigger size shoe to give your toes more room.

    Hi, I run with the On Running's Cloud Shoe. These shoes are great but they use elastic laces, I do have the option to change them to a standard pair of laces however, I want to see if the elastic laces are more beneficial for me and my running. Any tips to lace up these to avoid pain on the top part of the tongue of the the shoe?

  • @runningwarehouse

    That variation of the lacing technique might work. You should also look for shoes with a wider or more rounded toebox, to give your pinky toe more room.

      Some shoes do tend to offer shorter laces that make certain techniques challenging. If you would like to try some different lacing methods, we'd highly recommend swapping laces with a pair that provide a little more length. -Connor

    My 2nd toe from the big toe on my left foot (which is the smaller foot) has a blacken toenail and I don't understand how to stop it from happening. My right foot doesn't have this issue. But it seems that because my left foot is smaller, perhaps it slides around more?! Im not quite sure, what would you suggest to prevent this? and yes I do always go a size up

    • @runningwarehouse
      @runningwarehouse  10 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Blackened toenails can definitely be caused by excess space in the toebox resulting in the foot sliding around. It's possible that your shoes are too large; we recommend choosing running shoes just half a size larger than your standard shoe size for the best fit.
