I’ve tried the traditional dip powder method, and I had chipping n cracking on the top…😮 I used to do regularly gel dip, and I never had these issues, with less amount of coats.

I was wondering if you have had any problems with Nailboo liquids? I love their powders but their liquids are another story. The base #1 bottle once I finally did open it I am unable to screw it closed. Then the activator #2 bottle will open but I am unable to put the brush back in it doesn't seem to fit back into the bottle, then the top coat #3 bottle the cap pulled completely off and I am unable to put it back on so I had to hold the brush by the little plastic tip. I became so fed up that I purchased another companies liquids off of Amazon( Beetles) and have had no issues at all. It is a shame because I truly love Nailboo powders and they give you such a nice size jar, but their liquids are in much need of help.
I mainly use another company’s liquids as well because I prefer a quicker dry time. I have seen posts mention removing the plastic inserts from the bottle when you’re having trouble getting the brush back in. Thankfully, NB listened to their customers comments/complaints and redesigned the bottles. Hopefully the square design is much better than the round ones.

When you say 3-4 dips, do you mean repeat all the step ( build powder, dip, activator and so on. Or do you mean just dip into color powder 3-4 dips?
