There is an easy fix. Behind the radio (Boxster for sure) is the heater box that is the source of all of this foam. Just remove the radio (not the whole dash) to get to it. Clean it in side and replace it with heat insulated tape along the sides, top and bottom. Then replace the radio, vacuum out your vents and the problem is solved. Easy Peasy!
