I believe theres an argument for Shane Gillis being one of the most important comedians of the new generation. Similar to how Rogan changed the atmosphere of the comedy store and paved the way for stand up in podcasting, Shanes origin story is a reminder that comedy is and always will be the ultimate platform for free speech and self expression. Im not arguing that shanes gonna be the best comic, but his influence will be vital.
Only thing I genuinely worry for of Shane is his proclivity for laziness. Dude has a track-record of relying on his natural talent instead of working really hard at something. 13:35 great use of this picture to explain the moment lmao
We must all repsect Shane for single handedly saving the words "gay" and "retard" for all us regular folk
My time in the military was short and its always been a point of shame. Coincidentally also grew up Roman catholic in a norte dame family. Shane is inspirational and I'm gay
Lol i cracked up at “and im gay”
@@Kaodusanya lol same
Why a point of shame ?
@@izaya65if you're not gay you won't understand
@@yhwhiskng I see 😳
I love that the ones of us who understand how important the first amendment is to freedom, have no problem paying to support those who have lost their voice. Keep it up boys!!
Gillis is the best comic out.
Crazy to see the dawgz get this big. I remember when the paytch started I remember always commenting on the paytch for them to do ads. All hail Paimon!
This is really good. I hope you cover more people.
Never seen a more relatable honest man
I am a veteran and Shane I respect you realizing very early on west point wasn't for you enlisted men aren't really afforded that luxury if we sign we gotta be 100% going on but we need the best LTs possible coming out of that particular academy so at minimum there is at least a little honor in saying this isn't for me and I'm wasting their time and money as well as mine I know you felt kinda bad saying the cadets at that bar but you made the right decision for everyone involved service isn't for everyone and that's fine
Dude Shane's new special Beautiful Dogs on Netflix is a BANGER!! Well deserved!!
There aren't very many REAL comics these days it seems ,... But Gillis is Definitely one of the best impo ...
A dying breed for sure .
There’s 250 mmkay
Shane’s Austin special was an instant classic… one of my favorite specials still to this day…
It’s hard to dispute that Shane Gillis is the best stand up comedian alive right now.
I have no idea why the youtube algo thought I would like these videos, but I do, Keep up the good edits. Last 3 videos were fire
"He qeeeted boot camp early" 😂 5:33
Only thing I genuinely worry for of Shane is his proclivity for laziness. Dude has a track-record of relying on his natural talent instead of working really hard at something. Lol from football to the army to whatever else. But, he is genuinely one of the top 5 funniest comedians right now, so his natural abilities might be enough. His intelligence is also really really underrated
He works all the time at standup. There’s a difference between laziness and lack of motivation.
And thats probably the only thing he has in common w pretty people - let him have it
This is very inspirational to watch when feeling a little lost
Great job, my dude
