Joe's ability to kill a joke or steer away from a joke anywhere on a podcast is uncanny. On Flagrant someone made a joke about farts and Joe converted that instantly into a very sobering list of atrocities committed by Uday and Kusay.
Shane getting canceled was probably the best thing to happen to him. It put his name out there and people searched him up to see what was so horrible and found out this guy's a tremendous comedian.
I would have never known who he was had he been on SNL I wouldn't have ever watched the show. But because he got fired and it became a thing, he had something interesting attached to him. Blew him up.

It’s truly beautiful how things work out. Shane is literally my favorite comedian at the moment because he’s just genuinely funny from standup to pretty much every podcast. I feel like SNL would have made him conform to that type of comedy and they would have taken away what really makes him funny for most people. His last special was insanely good and I don’t see him going anywhere but up. You can just tell he’s such a genuine dude too.

The specials he's put out so far are absolutely awesome. The Live in Austin one was genius from start to finish. In my top 10 of all time. That's including Patrice O'Neal, Dave Chappelle, Lenny Bruce, Eddie Murphy, Bill Burr, Sam Morrill and more.

Seemed like a insecure/macho thing to me. Testosterone makes people aggressive and competitive. Insecure people constantly perceive innocent things as threats. For some weird reason I laugh so much harder when someone doesn’t get a stupid, silly joke. The whoosh above Joe’s head was great. Shane’s smile when he knows he makes a good joke is priceless.
It’s truly beautiful how things work out. Shane is literally my favorite comedian at the moment because he’s just genuinely funny from standup to pretty much every podcast. I feel like SNL would have made him conform to that type of comedy and they would have taken away what really makes him funny for most people. His last special was insanely good and I don’t see him going anywhere but up. You can just tell he’s such a genuine dude too.
