Shane getting canceled was probably the best thing to happen to him. It put his name out there and people searched him up to see what was so horrible and found out this guy's a tremendous comedian.
I would have never known who he was had he been on SNL I wouldn't have ever watched the show. But because he got fired and it became a thing, he had something interesting attached to him. Blew him up.

It’s truly beautiful how things work out. Shane is literally my favorite comedian at the moment because he’s just genuinely funny from standup to pretty much every podcast. It’s truly beautiful how things work out. Shane is literally my favorite comedian at the moment because he’s just genuinely funny from standup to pretty much every podcast. I feel like SNL would have made him conform to that type of comedy and they would have taken away what really makes him funny for most people. His last special was insanely good and I don’t see him going anywhere but up. You can just tell he’s such a genuine dude too.
This guy is great. I loved him in The Sixth Sense.

My favorite thing about shane, in this interview was, he was nervous. He’s from middle PA….and he wore “his good shirt.” This shows he has great character and respect. Even his look when the joke misses? He shakes his head smiles and gives an “eh?”….authentic guy

I actually think that going "eh?" when the joke misses is a huge sign of ego. He *expected* Joe to laugh and then made it weird when he didn't. Most people would've just moved on but Shane essentially said "huh? You're not laughing at my great joke??"
