      ^^ All of the people above need to remember that life is not handed to you on a silver platter. You have to work hard for what you want out of life, and sometimes we are dealt crappy hands. But the reality is that everyone is dealt something difficult to deal with at some point in life. The difference is what we do with our circumstances when that happens. Do we remain victims to our circumstances or do we pick up the pieces and build something new? Most people choose to do nothing and remain a victim, then they complain about their mediocre lives. What you put out is what you receive back. Work hard for the life you want for yourself. Most people give up and stop trying. Failure is simply quitting. People don't fail when they continue to try, they fail when they stop trying. Theo didn't stop trying, therefore he's created a new life for himself. Anyone can do it, including all of you. Mindset and daily patterns are key. That's really all there is to it.

      I've only recently seen him with his interview of Dana White. Then spent a Sunday watching some of his podcasts, I'm a fan for life. Completely inspired me, being he is 2 yrs younger than me, but a lot of his struggles as a kid I dealt with. I'm not talking about being homeless or growing up in a rough neighborhood,but his other childhood difficulties. Thank you Theo for your story and not being afraid to talk about it. I don't have the proper words for how he's made me feel. Inspired totally is it! Not disturbing, if only everybody would be willing to discuss their stories and not be ashamed or embarrassed about the way they grew up. The struggles, financial, emotional, and the list goes on, but we all could learn from more individuals not afraid to speak about themselves. Even til today I have not seen his stand up comedy, I only know him from his podcast and interviews with individuals I like. God bless 🙏🏻🙏🏻

    Difficulties and struggles you go thru as a child can make you a more humble, empathetic, smart in ways that get you thru life, kinder, harder worker, more appreciative. Hardship can be a blessing. Love ya Theo. You seem to be a decent man.

    • @Alexander_Grant
      @Alexander_Grant 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I know the sentiment is supposed to be good, but man comments like these rub me the wrong way. That seems like something that each individual should decide if it's a blessing or not. I've had some struggles in my life as well, addiction being one of the main ones that's haunted me in my adulthood, and while I do consider myself wiser than those who have not gone through that struggle, I don't think I'd appreciate someone who hadn't lived my life tell me that the addiction I had was a blessing. I'd rather not have to deal with it at all than have the positives from it that I got, and others who I know who have had troubled lives would trade those troubles away for what they positively received in a heartbeat. I know Theo will never read these so it's not a big deal, and while it is supposed to be positive, I think it comes off condescending.

    • @isthatmymom6175
      @isthatmymom6175 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Alexander_Grant I never said addiction is a blessing. You turned the comment into a condescending statement. Hardships, of all sorts, can make us stronger, kinder, etc. Sorry for the confusion.

    I can totally relate to Theo's childhood. I was born in 1960 and grew up in a similar way. Living in a children's home in Round Rock Texas. The school bus had a sign on it "Texad Baptist Children's Home".
    I remember trying to take life several times. I ran away, got caught, and my house pop spanked my butt with a long wood 1x4 with holes in it and said he wouldn't stop until I cried . My teacher noticed I was in pain and couldn't sit in class. My social worker took pictures of my bloody blistered butt and the house parents were fired. Next time I ran away, I made sure I didn't get caught!
    Back then, you didn't share your story with anyone because people would look at you funny and not want to socialize with you. I learned that people didn't know anything about you unless you told them, so I quit sharing and kept everything inside. THANK YOU Theo for sharing. It really helps so many people ❤

    This is why I love Theo because he learned to laugh at his past and that's something I think we could all do a bit more in this messed up world

    Well done, theo. You've had it tough, but come out on top. I feel inspired to better myself after watching this.

    Crazy how followers of Theo are so impressed with Theo. Old and young alike we just admire Theo for being so mentally strong after his childhood. I love his honestly and his stories crack me up. Best of luck to Theo.
