I wanted the note 10+, but T-mobile doesn't have them in the shop on their app for some reason anymore. Also, when I compared the prices on the Samsung app, the pre-order price was cheaper for the Note 20 than the Note 10+ with trade in. Wasn't able to get either phone at the moment, so still comparing for now.
Always change my Note every year, but I may say The Note 10+ is the best design Note for me the whole screen front, the color, the speakers are great sound very loud and good, is so powerful 12gb Ram 256gb Rom, cameras and verdeo still great, don't have problem with the battery life! All this still good choice even comparable with the new Note 20 Ultra!

Great review. It's that same as is with every device over the last several years....marginal improvements. Not worth jumping from my Note 10+. I'll get the next Note.
In Europe we only get the 256 or 512 gb versions because they want to compensate the fact that we only get the bad exynos processor. We also have headphones included. Man I'd rather have the snapdragon instead of the storage and headphones. So it's no note 20 ultra for me
I like the Note 20 Ultra. I actually like the camera bump too. The design is amazing. I want to protect it, but I almost don't want to have the case on. I don't like that rainbow coloured Note 10+. I'm sorry. I was going to get a black Note 10+, but the Note 20 ultra is better. I'm not sure why they moved away from the TOF sensor. The laser auto focus is great. The UWB chip is awesome with Google nearby and for productivity you can't beat the 20, 10 or 9! I'm not here to argue with any Note owner. I love em' all and have had the pleasure of owning the 3, 5, 8, 9 and now the 20!
He says that both have a 12mp ultra wide camera at 7.30min in the video, but the Note 10+ has 16mp ultra wide camera, taking ultra wide pictures with the Note 10 + camera is great . Other than that I'll bought the Note 20 ultra 5g 512gb and it was good, but it was getting hot 🔥, so I returned it, and bought the Note 10 + instead, and saved almost half my money 💰

I desperately wanted to buy ultra note 20, seeing all the reviews on youtube. But in reality ultra note20 lens bump makes it hard to carry and in the pocket is uncomfortable. For that reason I ordered a mint used note 10+, which is way easily handleable.

Wow guys! Note 4 was my first Note when it came out. Never could figure out the stylus. During that time, Verizon offered classes to use your smartphone, here, the Note4. Signed up for, never showed up. Since then, I had a Note8, and now, the Note10+.
Now, my Note 10 plus has received an update of One UI 2.5 and has got all the camera and other features of Note 20 ultra. Wireless dex is also available now.
Just bought a refurb note 10+ yesterday for $800, gonna be a nice upgrade from my note 8, the 20 ultra didn't seem compelling enough to warrant the price...plus that aura glow color is one of the prettiest I've ever seen on a phone

The s-pen is exclusive so you always pay a premium. If you feel it's a novelty, then you should probably be looking at other phones anyway. Regarding the battery/screen: a) it's adaptive, and b) you can set it to 60Hz, just like your N10+. Also, not sure this would be a worthy upgrade for you.
Just upgraded from note 10+ to Note 20 ultra 5G, honestly it's only slightly better . Camera takes slightly better shots. The phone feels more premium and the 120hz screen is a nice touch. It's not much different than the note 10+
Waited for the reviews for the Note 20 to drop - decided to go with the Note 10 (non Plus version). Roughly half the price for me, and I love that Aura Glow.
The people who say the 10+ is better than the 20U haven't experienced the 120Hz refresh rate. I just got the Note20 Ultra today and the smoothness is so out of this world, I can't imagine using a smartphone without that feature. I made the right choice by upping my budget for this beauty.
Im still pretty happy with my Note 10 Plus and I won't be upgrading because there's very little improvement on the Note 20 Ultra. Also, Samsung will be extending software and security updates so maybe I'll upgrade in the next 2-3 years or so.
Strange things you are talking about camera. I have both phones and definitely photos from note 10 plus are much more vibrant comparing to note 20 ultra. Maybe you mean when you are watching them on computer screen or tv ?

Ummm he says the note 10+ needs a cord to transfer to the TV, which isn't true. I have the Note 10+ 5G and I have that on my phone as a feature with no cable needed %100 wireless! I also have those gestures in my pen that he said it didn't have. So far only difference is the lil upgrade on the processor and refresh rate, now let me finish the video and see what the last bit is about the camera.
Don't buy the Samsung Galaxy Note Ultra 5g. Which has the following faults 1. Canera is inconsistent 2. Night mode is useless 3. The finger print reader takes 3 to 4 seconds to read my finger. 5 The phone constantly locks up, and has to be re booted. 6. Battery life is a joke 6 hours max. 7 can't touch with a pen or a finger anything that is on the edge of the screen. 8 Wireless DEX slowed my P.C down to a crawl. 9. I received Wireless buds which is nice but the Samsung Wear software is not compatible with Android 6 10. The Expensive Samsung case will not allow the phone to charge on a Wireless charger. Really annoying in the car, I have to remove the case echtime I get in the car. 11. I have the Exynos version supplied by o2 in the U.K. I look forward to these points being addressed in firmware updates 😀 I am going back to the note 10 or the new IPhone 12 Max

if u r in hurry go for note 10+ , and if u could wait go for note 20 + (its not launched yet) note 20 + has everything better and in less price then note 20 ultra, with 256 GB storage, only one drawback it dose not have SD card support. hope this will help you.
Really interesting seeing those endurance numbers. I was hoping the newer processor and slightly larger battery would really help. This is my first high refresh rate phone and I currently still own my Note 9 and 10 Plus... The higher fluidity is very nice, however I'm almost tempted to put it back in QHD and see if the stamina is comparable to what I was getting on my 10 Plus. Thanks for the comparison. Cheers 🍻
I am also skipping this one. Don't need the 120hz that bad or the better zoom. Battery life is a key factor for me along with the 128gb base. My note 10 plus does all I need.
My current Note10Plus will become the backup to my Note20Ultra come Friday August 21st. My old Note9 will be turned in for the Note20Ultra I'm getting 500$ for my 2yr old Note9 great deal.
I own the note 20 ultra, people need to stop saying it's 120hz it's not. There's a big noticeable différence in the sharpness of the image when you go from fhd+ to WQHD+. I can't use it at fhd+ for 120hz when the image is noticeably worse. Also the s pen latency improvement only works when you have 120hz enabled. If you're like me and like the max quality then 120hz and s pen upgrade is useless. Overall this phone feels like it was half backed. The battery is not just worse btw, it's absolute garbage. Even with putting 45 apps in deep sleep ( why do I have to do this on a flagship 1300 phone, ridiculous) I'm lucky to get 6 hours SOT from 100-0 as a heavy power user. It's just a goofy phone, why make it so thin and awkward when it looks and feels better when the back and camera module are the same height. They should have included 6000-7000mah battery made it thicker so camera module is flat, and fixed the other be with this phone. I still love this phone but it's unacceptable the shortcomings for 1300, if you're gonna buy this the max you should pay is $1000.l and only the SD model, exynos is a no go

Note 20 Ultra may have 120hz refresh rate but it only runs in 1080p and the phone does support super quick charging it comes with a 55 watt charger in the box. Both use the air jester S-pen features. The only thing that has my attention over my Note 10+ is that the S-pen is on the left considering I'm a lefty. Also the Note 10+ supports 5G, just not full 5G. AT&T 5G Evolution is actually better since I can actually use since you don't have to be almost under a full 5G antenna to use, which here between the Providence, RI and Boston, MA area we have. I live in a town with only 18,000 people and we have 5G Evolution. But in the end I'm sticking with my Note 10+. I'll get the 20 Ultra for my Wife, since AT&T is doing a $1000 rebate on trade-ins with the S9+.
I have played with the N20 Ultra...not worth it if you have the Note 10plus. Keep your money and give Samsung a sign that we don't appreciate such incremental changes for so much money

The lower latency of the s-pen isn't taken advantage of in any painting or drawing apps, unfortunately, so it's not relevant to artists. The only app I've found that takes advantage of it, is Samsung Notes, so you can see it on lock screen notes, and in that one app.
144 I'm right handed, and I found the power/volume buttons to be 100% cool on the left hand side. I hold my phone in my left hand. Talk, text, scroll with my right hand. When I'm done talking, just press the power button on the left to end my call. Obviously, in times past, Galaxys always been on the right. If I get a Ultra, I will miss the power button on the left.
I have the note 10+; but for me is all about the camera..I hide the for take photos of my kids and stuff on my day... I use and other phone for my job... But still I will change the phone because in Mexico can't afford to buy a used phone for 600 us dollars, so I take advantage os the 500 discount in Samsung stores
Great comparison.. I love my Note 10+ and think I'll stick with it.. I'm still learning things this phone can do 2 years later! It also still last all day for me & I'm a heavy user. I did some self testing & from when I woke up & got to my Deer Stand at 5.45a I would come back at dark, around 6pm. I still had 35 to 38% battery life left.. After the One UI 3.1 & Android 11 update? My Note 10+ seems to run way more efficiently. No crashes or freezing up. Just a great performing phone..
I think I'm just going to stick with my 10+ til next year. There just isn't much improvement in the 20. I'm one of the few people who doesn't really care how sleek or slim the phone is. I wish there was an optional thicker phone that had a 10,000 or 12,000 mah battery. I don't care about how it "looks". It's not a fashion peice for me. I use it all day. Samsung has announced that the new Note 21 will not be releasing later this year but probably next year. I'll wait for it. And there is no reason for big phones nowadays to not have at least 1 TB of storage.
processors from a one year to the next is not much of a difference. so you can scratch that out as a reason to upgrade. outside of the refresh rate, can't see a legitimate. would like to check that video recording out though.

i live in a country that uses exynos. can never be in official store with snapdragon. I told you not to be given a choice between Snapdragon or Exynos, but they never heard of it. I feel that using Exynos is hot and the battery is wasteful. and surprisingly it always sells well, even though there are already many problems with Exynos. Something that is very important for me is the face recognition feature, is this feature is improved on the note 20 ultra??? Because face recognition of the note 10 plus is not good enough compared with the iphone 11 and even the 10, those iphone works pretty good when use the face recognition.....In Samsung will depend the light, the angle, and other detail to make unlock the phone, the 50% of the times i neee to use the fingerprint to unlock it 🙄
I have the Note 10+ from last year, and I got my Note 20 Ultra on 18th of August. It's a very minor upgrade apart from the camera, and the battery is worse. Also I am in the EU so Exynos...

Note shouldve always remained that niche productivity phone. Note 10 and 20 and all future notes are a shell of once great line. Samsung like Sony takes greatness and destroys it. Sony ps3 60 gb was best version just like first psp and ps vita then Sony revamps and removes features. Just like samsung removes headphones jack, led notifications, heart rate monitor, finger unlock, iris scanner. Now samsung removes cheap accessories like headphones, s-pen tips then charger like Apple but price of phone goes up. We consumers accept this like sheep we are.
Ummm he says the note 10+ needs a cord to transfer to the TV, which isn't true. I have the Note 10+ 5G and I have that on my phone as a feature with no cable needed %100 wireless! I also have those gestures in my pen that he said it didn't have. So far only difference is the lil upgrade on the processor and refresh rate, now let me finish the video and see what the last bit is about the camera.
Another $1000+ for a high refresh rate that actually could've been put in the 10 series? Samsung, sit the hell down.

Which has the following faults
1. Canera is inconsistent
2. Night mode is useless
3. The finger print reader takes 3 to 4 seconds to read my finger.
5 The phone constantly locks up, and has to be re booted.
6. Battery life is a joke 6 hours max.
7 can't touch with a pen or a finger anything that is on the edge of the screen.
8 Wireless DEX slowed my P.C down to a crawl.
9. I received Wireless buds which is nice but the Samsung Wear software is not compatible with Android 6
10. The Expensive Samsung case will not allow the phone to charge on a Wireless charger. Really annoying in the car, I have to remove the case echtime I get in the car.
11. I have the Exynos version supplied by o2 in the U.K.
I look forward to these points being addressed in firmware updates 😀

note 20 + has everything better and in less price then note 20 ultra, with 256 GB storage, only one drawback it dose not have SD card support.

Really interesting seeing those endurance numbers. I was hoping the newer processor and slightly larger battery would really help. This is my first high refresh rate phone and I currently still own my Note 9 and 10 Plus... The higher fluidity is very nice, however I'm almost tempted to put it back in QHD and see if the stamina is comparable to what I was getting on my 10 Plus. Thanks for the comparison. Cheers 🍻
You can also have wireless DEX on the Note 10+ . I have it and works OK. But I should note that it still is considerable faster with the DEX Station.
I am also skipping this one. Don't need the 120hz that bad or the better zoom. Battery life is a key factor for me along with the 128gb base. My note 10 plus does all I need.
Note 9 was the last super phone in note series. After that all the note series became absurd
My current Note10Plus will become the backup to my Note20Ultra come Friday August 21st. My old Note9 will be turned in for the Note20Ultra I'm getting 500$ for my 2yr old Note9 great deal.
I own the note 20 ultra, people need to stop saying it's 120hz it's not. There's a big noticeable différence in the sharpness of the image when you go from fhd+ to WQHD+. I can't use it at fhd+ for 120hz when the image is noticeably worse.
Also the s pen latency improvement only works when you have 120hz enabled.
If you're like me and like the max quality then 120hz and s pen upgrade is useless. Overall this phone feels like it was half backed.
The battery is not just worse btw, it's absolute garbage. Even with putting 45 apps in deep sleep ( why do I have to do this on a flagship 1300 phone, ridiculous) I'm lucky to get 6 hours SOT from 100-0 as a heavy power user.
It's just a goofy phone, why make it so thin and awkward when it looks and feels better when the back and camera module are the same height. They should have included 6000-7000mah battery made it thicker so camera module is flat, and fixed the other be with this phone.
I still love this phone but it's unacceptable the shortcomings for 1300, if you're gonna buy this the max you should pay is $1000.l and only the SD model, exynos is a no go
About to upgrade, but wasn't ready to spend twice the price for the 20 ultra. Glad I don't have to. I have an s9+ atm so I'll still be getting an update in speed 🤷🏾♀️
I've got a note 10 plus 5g 512gb built in and Samsung 512gb sd card
Note 20 Ultra may have 120hz refresh rate but it only runs in 1080p and the phone does support super quick charging it comes with a 55 watt charger in the box. Both use the air jester S-pen features. The only thing that has my attention over my Note 10+ is that the S-pen is on the left considering I'm a lefty. Also the Note 10+ supports 5G, just not full 5G. AT&T 5G Evolution is actually better since I can actually use since you don't have to be almost under a full 5G antenna to use, which here between the Providence, RI and Boston, MA area we have. I live in a town with only 18,000 people and we have 5G Evolution. But in the end I'm sticking with my Note 10+. I'll get the 20 Ultra for my Wife, since AT&T is doing a $1000 rebate on trade-ins with the S9+.
I have played with the N20 Ultra...not worth it if you have the Note 10plus. Keep your money and give Samsung a sign that we don't appreciate such incremental changes for so much money

Have both. Battery life is equal if not better on Note 20 Ultra which is... 2 years apart from the 10 Plus. Buy with confidence, worth every penny!

This is the First Time, I ever hear "8K is useful". Everyone is saying it is unnecessary! Doesn't look good, needs more Light, corps a lot into the Picture, is taking so much space, not stabilized, just a gimmick... And no one needs the zoom, 2x and 3x, maybe 5x are the most Useful...
Wow note 20 has a worse portrait camera, worse battery, half the memory. Plus charging you an extra $300. That is a bad deal.
Screen mirroring does work through the smart view feature on note 10+ no cord required as long you have a Samsung tv

The lower latency of the s-pen isn't taken advantage of in any painting or drawing apps, unfortunately, so it's not relevant to artists. The only app I've found that takes advantage of it, is Samsung Notes, so you can see it on lock screen notes, and in that one app.

144 I'm right handed, and I found the power/volume buttons to be 100% cool on the left hand side. I hold my phone in my left hand. Talk, text, scroll with my right hand. When I'm done talking, just press the power button on the left to end my call. Obviously, in times past, Galaxys always been on the right. If I get a Ultra, I will miss the power button on the left.

But still I will change the phone because in Mexico can't afford to buy a used phone for 600 us dollars, so I take advantage os the 500 discount in Samsung stores

Great comparison.. I love my Note 10+ and think I'll stick with it.. I'm still learning things this phone can do 2 years later! It also still last all day for me & I'm a heavy user.
I did some self testing & from when I woke up & got to my Deer Stand at 5.45a I would come back at dark, around 6pm. I still had 35 to 38% battery life left.. After the One UI 3.1 & Android 11 update? My Note 10+ seems to run way more efficiently. No crashes or freezing up. Just a great performing phone..

I think I'm just going to stick with my 10+ til next year. There just isn't much improvement in the 20. I'm one of the few people who doesn't really care how sleek or slim the phone is. I wish there was an optional thicker phone that had a 10,000 or 12,000 mah battery. I don't care about how it "looks". It's not a fashion peice for me. I use it all day. Samsung has announced that the new Note 21 will not be releasing later this year but probably next year. I'll wait for it. And there is no reason for big phones nowadays to not have at least 1 TB of storage.
processors from a one year to the next is not much of a difference. so you can scratch that out as a reason to upgrade. outside of the refresh rate, can't see a legitimate. would like to check that video recording out though.

i live in a country that uses exynos. can never be in official store with snapdragon. I told you not to be given a choice between Snapdragon or Exynos, but they never heard of it. I feel that using Exynos is hot and the battery is wasteful. and surprisingly it always sells well, even though there are already many problems with Exynos. WHY SAMSUNG DIDN'T WANT TO HEAR THE COSTUMER !!!!

120hz is vastly overrated. The average consumer doesn't care about refresh rates
Something that is very important for me is the face recognition feature, is this feature is improved on the note 20 ultra??? Because face recognition of the note 10 plus is not good enough compared with the iphone 11 and even the 10, those iphone works pretty good when use the face recognition.....In Samsung will depend the light, the angle, and other detail to make unlock the phone, the 50% of the times i neee to use the fingerprint to unlock it 🙄

I have the Note 10+ from last year, and I got my Note 20 Ultra on 18th of August. It's a very minor upgrade apart from the camera, and the battery is worse. Also I am in the EU so Exynos...
When you compare the display, you should tell us the size differences, not just say “slightly taller”. Poor reviewer.
