Just found your channel and I love it, please don't push yourself too much, you know your limits. It is very difficult in the modern way of life to strike the best work / leisure time balance, I suffered from depression and anxiety for ten years and nearly lost the battle but I managed to claw my way back, look after yourself and stay safe.

We have a saying (probably most have heard this) "A trouble shared is a trouble halved" The first step is to recognise a problem, the next, biggest step is to share it and therefore dissipate it. Never forget, we are here to support and help - anytime for a great person like you! The new company sounds like a very decent company and now they have a very decent driver! :))) I heard you say the magic words "There is more to life than work!" - Cassie, you never said a truer word! You're going to be fine if you live by that rule. As for doing something else trucking related - have you ever considered training new drivers? Just a thought because you are a natural driver? That sounds good. I think not working was stressing you quite a bit too. From my experience you can probably handle 40 h weeks as long as it's work you know, not especially demanding or stressfull. And of course as long as you don't feel oblicated to do more videos than you really have time for. It's a big step to be able to talk about your problems, not feeling ashamed. That's really the key to staying healthy. You are doing well.

What helped me when I am in a situation I don’t completely control, I just tell them I’m a bit rusty when it has been a while, or don’t have a lot of experience. They become a lot more understanding and even help or teach.
I can tell you this much and this goes to all drivers especially new drivers in a company,management will push you and test you to see how much they can get out of you,the more you do they more they expect you to do.And when you get exhausted and say you cant turn up for work,they will turn it on you as if you are the failure.. .Your last upload Cassie hit a nerve with me. Ive been exactly the same,pure mirror of your situation and I guess a lot of others as well. Trying to be a good worker,trying to do 110%.... NEVER do that,70% of your capabilities is enough and when they want 90%,you give them 75% and dont be happy about it. When they want you do another load and its gone well beyond your finish time,say no and maybe out of the 10 times they ask you,you do that extra load once and make them understand its a major favor you are doing for them. It doesnt take long for them to see that you are not gona bend over and they will not bother you too much. Take the power back to you.It might fell odd for a time but you will fell better as time goes on.Its a dam tiring,stressful job to be out there driving,in charge of a big machine, that 1 slip up could cause many deaths including your own. TBH,we dont get either paid or recognized enough for this job.I could go on but I think Ive gone on too much for a TH-cam comment. The summer is here,enjoy.And thank fuck covid is behind us,nearly...

@@TruckerCassie I had the exact same experience as you. Ended up in hospital with stomach problems.Depression was taking me over,I became unbearable to be around. I turned it around 2 years ago and now the boss is even afraid to answer my phone calls😁 This helped my personal health and life and I'm a fairly happy fucker now. In fact I'm the happiest I've ever been in 20 years. Life is too short to waste it. Take care Cassie,be strong,live long and happy.😁😁🍻

a little tip for unloading your double stacked pallets, use the lower forks to lift the bottom pallet, when you have picked up the top pallet, then you can move both pallets at the same time, just be a bit more mindfull at the gap/bump where the ramp meets the truck, and when you are turning while driving.

Burning out is part of trucking. I’ve burnt out a couple times and even quit for 4 years, but something more than money draws me back. Try to pace yourself and remind yourself what it is you like about driving when you’re feeling overwhelmed.
