One thing for sure, the upper part of the road is going to be compacted pretty decent with driving the loaded truck over it as much as you did. Nice to have a project completed and off the list, you are making progress, every little bit helps achieve the long term goal. Thanks for the update, enjoy watching.
It's kind of like watching those old movies as a kid, "will he make it, or will the truck tip over on that steep hill? Tune in next time." Thanks for the entertainment this morning Captain, take care.
Fantastic to see your access road completed !! Definitely worth biting the bullet and diverting funds to the road, now it will have the winter to settle down. You have some fantastic scenery in your area, pleased we are able to share it, we just have to keep a better hold on the camera to really appreciate all the views 😂😎
I think Capt Kleeman needs to add a disclaimer at the beginning of his videos *No cameras were harmed in making this content* Although thinking about it.......he's likely to get sued for telling porkies 🤣🤣
I think you'll enjoy that road being done come spring time when you want to get the pool done. Getting the 555 in and out of there will be a touch less sketchy! haha Nice work as always my friend.
On DP's channel the other day I said, "Clint did Mike a Large on finding the Mach!" It's a beast! And, you're right, I never would have imagined a tri-axil back at the Plunge Pool! Great video and you are blessed to have someone like DP to lean on - in doing your projects. Great video. Thanks Mike! Lee
Finishing the road was the best choice, Cpt. It will make it so much more reliable for you to get stuff down to the pool project. That road is so steep that any rain made it almost impossible to get equipment up and down safely, at least you won't be fighting the mud after every shower now.
I'd never thought last year you would be able to get a dump truck to the bridge. Not only was the road narrow but very muddy and steep. You built an interstate hyway, Mike. Great job, and I'm happy for you.
Good work Captain. Nice road you built, pretty cool the dumper made it back there. My dad worked for JICase for 27 years back in the day when all the machines were made in Racine Wisconsin. It's good to see you are liking one of their machines so much. I saw one of the original Case cars, it had JICase in the tread of the tires.
Goodmorning Mike, that turned out great! Good call on finishing the road first in my opinion. I think it'll make the rest of the work there that much more efficient, and you mitigated a bit of the rain/mud sketch factor for maneuvering equipment and materials to the pool. I wish we had that chert rock here! I really like the way it looks and works! Have a great one!!
14 loads with the tri-axle, 50 loads or so with the single axle, and definitely over 100 loads with a pickup. Can you imagine doing this with the side by side?????🤔 Having the right equipment makes such a big difference.👌 Thanks DP.😉 Captain... There sure are a lot of shiny bits on that tri-axle that never went missing or anything.🤙
Hi Mike. As a fellow hoarder, I have to say that those tin panels look way too useful to be rotting away in the woods. Glad you were able to rescue them from certain destruction. I thought of several things that old fuel tank could be used for too. A giant barbeque was one idea, although it might not exactly be very practical.
Hi Mike. Now, if a fella had a bit of spare change he might rent DP's 'Tacco' and grader attachment and really finish the road off with a nice crown. By the time all the highs and lows are smoothed out and the edges pulled in you would probabnly gain quite a few more yards of road. Job done, in time before the next rain turns it to concrete, and looking like a million dollars. Just a sayin if'n ya know what I mean. Great video as usual. Cheers from down under🇦🇺😀
Road to the plunge pool is looking great, but if your worried about the budget, I know a project, I believe it is in its 6 year in the making and if finished, would be raking in the extra funding (retirement funds, but funds)! 😁😁😁😁 On your question, yes, it is worth it. It's like renting a car on vacation, only when you need it (Helps with your CDL)! And, it save's a ton of money on maintenance repairs. Plus, you get an automatic compactor without renting one! 👍👍
Capt'n Kleeman, you are getting mighty bold with the tri-axle Enterprise! Now you need to get one of DP's rollers and have fun packing the rock in. That is if it will climb the grades. That is a worry! Keep going my friend! You have made so much progress this year.
Not sure it would climb the grade, once it is packed, but they don't like loose material, which is wild considering that's the whole problem they are designed to solve lol
Awesome video! I really enjoyed laying the chirt down. One thing completed. The color of the stone is wonderful. Thank you for sharing, I can hardly wait until the next video. 😊❤
Where I live a lot of people use them for grills and they throw wood in there when it all burns down into hot coals they put the grids in it and then they use that cook like chicken for the fire department and fundraisers for Boy Scouts. Just things like that.
Mike, if you want us to do all this watching and guiding and camera knocking over prevention alerting and catching equipment on steep hills etc., you’d better get us some walkie talkies because it’s quite obvious that you can’t hear us yelling at you 😂
Nice bit a road building there, definitely better than some of the roads where I live in the UK. When the plung pool is done are you going to open it with a party, can just imagine DP, MBT's and NYA Millennial all there with there kids as well. Mind you it might be a little tio deep for MBT's. 🤣😂👍
Hay, mike, look forward to each and every episode by you, outstanding work ethic & a great creator of comen sence,,, unlike most other utubers, sir you are a good human,,, AUS viewer, if you're ever in Australia, hit me up,
Good morning sunshine! Maplur? I don't think we have those in Ga! Lol! You got me laughing right off the bat! That's why I love your videos! Much love and respect from Henderson Ga USA
Now that’s a nice solid road to travel on. I’m betting that the triple nickel doesn’t get stuck anymore - well not on the road anyway. Stay safe Captain.
Looks great Mike, thank you for going to all the extra work to make a video for us to see. I can't imagine all the effort it must take you. JeffinMaine
Kleiman you bay the case. Then you don't need to borrow an escalator. you'll have a brand new one. It will do everything you can do with the little one. You can probably even put a little mini blade on it. Keep it up your videos look good. word of a vice. Don't break no more Cameras. I hope life is treating you and your family good.
Mike- about old fuel tank…I recently acquired two of them, first was de-sided into a medium burn barrel ( replaced dryer drum) to eliminate branches in a contained area where big open fire could be disastrous, side retained and supplemented by the second drum, almost new (!) for repair of backhoe buckets that have gotten thin😅. Free metal! And my auto tow and repair shop has been notified that leaf springs are requested to repair said buckets ( which were purchased from them). Creative replenishment of expensive supplies. 😊
I think finishing the road was the right decision. It had to be done eventually, and you want it to be done this season. That bit of infrastructure is more important than the shelter house, imo. It will pay dividends in the future. The construction of the pool and shelter house will be more efficient, saving time, money, and frustration.
great progress on this project, and it's always difficult to decide which project gets the money first when all the projects are exiting, great video Mike 👍👍👍👍👍
In my honest opinion, since I'm one of those multiple project people lol, I think as much as you have to struggle to use that road I'd finish it. Making it safer to maneuver. We've all seen the struggle when that road gets wet even just a little bit. Making it safer and easier would make it more efficient or at least that's how the mind wants to process it lol. It may put the other project off for a minute but there are enough pros over the cons to justify it.
I’ve seen many charcoal grills made out of the old fuel oil tanks. I actually made a wood burning stove out of one by building a steel box inside and adding a blower on the opposite end of the door and tied it into my home’s ductwork. I used it for several years until free wood was getting hard to come by. Back to the grill though, you could use it for big family gatherings and rent it out when not using it by mounting it on a trailer.
Hello Mike. What do you do with an old, seemingly intact, fuel tank? I don't know, maybe at some point in time you might have enough vehicles, gas or diesel, to be able to buy the fuel wholesale, if you have that nearby. I hope you got the road smoothed out to your liking and you got a bit of a light rain. Not enough for it to run down the hill, but enough for the water to soak into the "Chirt Road". It could almost pass as paved. Have good days!
Looks like you've got a nice stable road to move in supplies to finish off the plunge pool next year. Admiral Momma will be a happy camper when you finish that project Captain. Sorry about being late watching this one but it took my antique butt 2 days to get over my 70th birthday party hangover from Saturday night. More than one Heineken got polished off by yours truly. A man should never turn down beers bought by friends even if it exceeds your original self limit a tad or two.
Kleeman Khronikles kontinue....your chirtin' along purdy good there Bud. Good to see the road work being done, should be immensely helpful in being able to get more materials to the pool project site. Now the World Headquarters and the Admiral might just give you the employee of the week award. Great channel, great content.
No sense in doing things halfway. Finishing the road was the right decision. That's one less project to deal with. If DP pulls the trigger on the Case, I'm curious what will happen to the 120. It would be a great addition to the Kleeman Arsenal. But I think it would be way out of the budget and how often would it actually get used! I do hope it stays local and is readily available to everyone. The 120 is a part of the Derby history!
I love how what you see in your mind, transfers into a beautiful project that you and your family also your friends can enjoy for years to come, one complaint though is I am 64 years old and Mikel I am just not as gymnastic as I was, can you stop putting us poor viewer's in all these risky positions, I am telling you Mike it gets harder to get up from all these falls. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Jim from Scotland.
Finishing the road was definitely the right decision, good access makes everything else go faster and safer and more efficient, even if it doesn’t have the WOW factor the shelter house will.
I’d love to see a piece of demo equipment on this channel, but the make do and mend attitude is part of your charm. Keep up the great work. Pour one out for that last remaining camera.
I was happy that you were able to “rob Peter to pay Paul” as they say and keep going to the end of the chert goal (with a pile to boot). As others have commented, you were getting some good compaction on your work just by the tri-axle traveling and some blades with the 304. If you ever get JD 755 back to action, your homemade planer/grader will fine tune it.
Definitely was the better choice to finish the road over the shelter house. Since we’re getting into fall/winter the shelter house probably won’t be used similar to the pool not being used but in springtime you will appreciate a hard packed established road instead of sloshing around in the mud.
The speed is a setting you can adjust on the newer machines. The pour and dump, tilt and roll, skill would have saved a ton of time. Dumping in a single pile for a road is not optimal.
Nice video and just finish the road. At least one projects of your bucket list. Ask Case for a small donation for DP's truck rental, although I do believe your opinion on the 140 that it's a great machine, you're promoting it with your comments! That pool is going to be a lot of work during autumn with all those leaves... But if it's not heated, problem solved.
I was watching the history Channel last week, DP was running and cussing about the 304.... I said to sell it to you! I got grinning face emoji from him! Lol 😂😂😂
One thing for sure, the upper part of the road is going to be compacted pretty decent with driving the loaded truck over it as much as you did. Nice to have a project completed and off the list, you are making progress, every little bit helps achieve the long term goal. Thanks for the update, enjoy watching.
This looks way more enjoyable than what I do everyday. At least I can live vicariously through you
It's kind of like watching those old movies as a kid, "will he make it, or will the truck tip over on that steep hill? Tune in next time." Thanks for the entertainment this morning Captain, take care.
Owning the excavator is a real game changer for you to make your dream come true. A lot of expense but it will pay for itself. Thanks for sharing.
Always a good morning when there’s a new video from captain.
Nothing like starting the week off with the captain and a hot cup of coffee on a Monday morning
💪
Fantastic to see your access road completed !!
Definitely worth biting the bullet and diverting funds to the road, now it will have the winter to settle down.
You have some fantastic scenery in your area, pleased we are able to share it, we just have to keep a better hold on the camera to really appreciate all the views 😂😎
Lol
Smart to get the road in. One thing off the list.
I enjoy looking at the layers in rocks as well. Each one gets deposited in a different way under different circumstances which tells a story.
It's a cool thing for sure
Logger wade has a beautiful view at his place for sure! And the swimming hole is going to be nice next summer.
💪
Down to one camera? This is the BEST channel for camera abuse! At least DP's truck is still i one piece...!
I think Capt Kleeman needs to add a disclaimer at the beginning of his videos
*No cameras were harmed in making this content*
Although thinking about it.......he's likely to get sued for telling porkies 🤣🤣
Give him a minute.. he's got a certain reputation lol
I think you'll enjoy that road being done come spring time when you want to get the pool done. Getting the 555 in and out of there will be a touch less sketchy! haha Nice work as always my friend.

Definitely a capable truck

Exactly!
As subscribers, we had just one job! Stand and watch and we kept falling. Clumsy us! Don’t ever ask us to hold the flashlight for you!!
I know what makes it worse is, that I am tea total so I don't have the excuse of being a little tipsy. 😂🤣👍
@@everestyeti me too!
😂
Given how much slipping and sliding you did with the 555 on that hill, I think getting that road finished is well worth breaking the budget a little.
I agree
But slipping and sliding makes better content.😀
Cant go wrong with a good road build..nice job bud
I'd never thought last year you would be able to get a dump truck to the bridge. Not only was the road narrow but very muddy and steep. You built an interstate hyway, Mike. Great job, and I'm happy for you.
Progress for sure!

That's cool!
Thank U from the deepest parts of my soul for deciding to finish the road...... My OCD was screaming 😱🙀😱 while you were deciding 😂😂
😂
The 304 is gonna turn out to be your best investment for the homestead yet! 💯 Thanks for sharing Cap!
Hope so!
Nice to see more roads built in your woods. Looking great. Wishing you and your family the best.
Thanks tom!
Glad you got to demo the 140. Must have been a real treat to run a mint out the box machine.
It's pretty different from what I'm used to running. Lol
Excellent job Captain. You are doing a great job. Thanks Dirt Perfect in your help with this project.
Goodmorning Mike, that turned out great! Good call on finishing the road first in my opinion. Definitely fortunate to have it available
Awesome road building there Mike. Yes, it's worth having the right equipment to get it done right.
Absolutely
Mike hear me out. With your welding skills and a little fabrication the fuel oil tank can make a great smoker for marketplace profit. Just a thought.
👍🏻👍🏻another awesome video Captain. 🤛🏻🤛🏻
Thanks!
Heck yeah! Pumpkin patch day! And a corn maze and goats to boot. A fellow could have a good time doing that with his kiddos. 😺
Absolutely! It was a good time for sure
Nice video Captain,,,from Florida happy pumpkin patch day, hope the family has some fun.
DP, thanks for letting the Captain rent out your machines.❤ good video, Capt.👌
Good Morning Captain!!
Awesome job today!!
Stay Safe Brother.
Thanks!
It's so nice to have the excavator for you. Makes easy work of the trees to make your road.
Absolutely
It's good that you were able to read our minds and got that road done. I'm glad you are unable to read our minds everytime you knock us over.
😂😂
Awesome job Mike I can’t wait for the next episode.
💪
Good morning Mike
Captain great video! You’re getting it done! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Appreciate ya watching Kevin
That was a great video. Enjoy seeing the progress. Thanks Mike. Stay safe

I can run that gradient attachment on the front of the backhoe with my auxiliary hydraulics that I put on. It might be worth trying
Hey u finding and brush cutting that foundation was one of the first videos of urs I watched 😮u have come a long way👍top job 👌
Thanks!

Your road is looking Amazing Mike, that’s gonna really help out, getting to your plunge pool, and your big Pond❤❤😎😎👌👌🙏🙏🍮🍮
Yep, Know it when I heard it This was going to be some good Captain watching. Looking better all the time Mike.
Slow but steady!
All that backing time hindered your load count, but you did great. Not stuck to bad. Nothing broken, that we know about. Success is what we call it.
💪
Mike, if you want us to do all this watching and guiding and camera knocking over prevention alerting and catching equipment on steep hills etc., you’d better get us some walkie talkies because it’s quite obvious that you can’t hear us yelling at you 😂
We like looking at the scenery

😂😂 I'll get him a life ring
Do whatever makes the most sense in order of operation..👍🏼 base rock or shelter house .. excited for that shelter house though
Congrats on getting the road finished. As always, thanks for sharing.
💪
Hay, mike, look forward to each and every episode by you, outstanding work ethic & a great creator of comen sence,,, unlike most other utubers, sir you are a good human,,, AUS viewer, if you're ever in Australia, hit me up,
Good morning sunshine! Maplur? I don't think we have those in Ga! Lol! You got me laughing right off the bat! That's why I love your videos! Much love and respect from Henderson Ga USA
great road building, has to be great to have a good friend like Dirt Perfect
Like the video Cap, your going to have good roads man .
Thanks!
Hi Mike & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Mike & Friends Randy
Hey Mike, rock ‘n’ roll. The road is looking good.
Now that’s a nice solid road to travel on. I’m betting that the triple nickel doesn’t get stuck anymore - well not on the road anyway. Stay safe Captain.
Fingers crossed!
Love another Captain Kleeman one liner you guys have to behave because I only have 1 camera. Looks great
DP captain 👩✈️ says thanks for use of your equipment Captain know what he doing I think lol the road to the plunge pool looks awesome as always 👍👋🇨🇦
And I thought I have a lot of ongoing projects. Forget about it. ❤
Looks great Mike, thank you for going to all the extra work to make a video for us to see. I can't imagine all the effort it must take you. JeffinMaine
Love the DIY sound effects…..😂🤣
Definitely worth having on to just for the metal
I think finishing the road was the right decision. It had to be done eventually, and you want it to be done this season. That bit of infrastructure is more important than the shelter house, imo. It will pay dividends in the future. The construction of the pool and shelter house will be more efficient, saving time, money, and frustration.
100%
great progress on this project, and it's always difficult to decide which project gets the money first when all the projects are exiting, great video Mike 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks!
Want to add, i did finish the video and you did finish the road, but im familiar with the thought process, and thought I'd share my thoughts on it.
Lol I appreciate it!
About the old fuel tank - why not mount it against your present workshop and use it as a diesel storage tank.
Loved this episode, great to see those roads topped off and hopefully you can will be able to use the roads in the winter.
💪
I’ve seen many charcoal grills made out of the old fuel oil tanks. I actually made a wood burning stove out of one by building a steel box inside and adding a blower on the opposite end of the door and tied it into my home’s ductwork. Finish road feels good Captain!!💪 Don’t go waking up Loggers Wade cows in the early morning hours 😂😂 Great stuff going on!!🤗🇺🇸
Lol appreciate ya watching
Hello Mike. What do you do with an old, seemingly intact, fuel tank? I don't know, maybe at some point in time you might have enough vehicles, gas or diesel, to be able to buy the fuel wholesale, if you have that nearby. With all the fog this morning hiding the view, I would just say it all looks fine and just go back home and call it a day😊
Looks like you've got a nice stable road to move in supplies to finish off the plunge pool next year.
Happy birthday!
Thanks Captain, on to the next adventure on your channel.
Kleeman Khronikles kontinue....your chirtin' along purdy good there Bud. Good to see the road work being done, should be immensely helpful in being able to get more materials to the pool project site. Now the World Headquarters and the Admiral might just give you the employee of the week award. Great channel, great content.
Thank you sir!
No sense in doing things halfway. Finishing the road was the right decision. That's one less project to deal with. If DP pulls the trigger on the Case, I'm curious what will happen to the 120. He will keep the 120. It's too reliable to get rid of. And definitely handy to be able to leave at the dirt pit or chirt pit and not tie up the 140
I love how what you see in your mind, transfers into a beautiful project that you and your family also your friends can enjoy for years to come, one complaint though is I am 64 years old and Mikel I am just not as gymnastic as I was, can you stop putting us poor viewer's in all these risky positions, I am telling you Mike it gets harder to get up from all these falls. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Jim from Scotland.
😂😂
This was a good one Mike, you did wonderful work with that tri axle!
Thanks!
On the camera situation “you got to spend money to make money”😂😂😂
Very true
Finishing the road was definitely the right decision, good access makes everything else go faster and safer and more efficient, even if it doesn’t have the WOW factor the shelter house will.
Agree 💯
Looking Good!
Thanks!
I’d love to see a piece of demo equipment on this channel, but the make do and mend attitude is part of your charm. Keep up the great work. Pour one out for that last remaining camera.
😂😂
I think it’s awesome. It’s gonna be so nice to see how it’s done. I’ll stop by when you get the project finished just kidding.
My grandparents used to live on the Illinois river in Illinois. When i was young we would hunt got those but we called them indian beads
I was happy that you were able to “rob Peter to pay Paul” as they say and keep going to the end of the chert goal (with a pile to boot). Nice video and just finish the road. At least one projects of your bucket list. That pool is going to be a lot of work during autumn with all those leaves... But if it's not heated, problem solved.
Big tarp and forget about it lol
I was watching the history Channel last week, DP was running and cussing about the 304.... I said to sell it to you!
I got grinning face emoji from him! Lol 😂😂😂

Looking like a real professional with the dump truck.
