I agree but if you haven't had the duel sense in your hand and actually playing with it .. it's not the same as when Nintendo used the features.... its the combination of the mics the haptic feedback the force feedback triggers the speaker on the controller all those things come together to give you an experience that no other console has really gave you and I've had them all

Personally, I don't buy ANY console at launch any more. Learned my lesson with the PS3. It ended strong, but in that first year or so, there was almost nothing to play. To me, it's much more worth it to wait. I didn't get a PS4 until 2018 and I enjoyed a reduced console price, a slimmer model with more of the kinks ironed out for a smoother experience than the early adopters had, a larger library to choose from than I would in 2013, and cheaper games. I'm about to rack up on PS4 games while everyone's scrambling to get the new system. lol
Wow, this video is a year old and you STILL can’t buy these in stores. And Sony says you probably won’t until sometime in 2023, and even that is no guarantee. Imagine a console launching and not being able to walk into a store and buy it for at least 3 years. Crazy.

If it's anything like the ps4 pro was to the standard ps4 then it won't be much of an upgrade. But if they reduce the size and adjust the disc drive to where it won't randomly get loud then I'm in. The 5% performance boost will just be a bonus lol
@@calebburch9816 well apparently the 5 is a pretty hefty jump in performance from the pro as well. If a ps5 pro comes out it probably won't be a substantial jump from the base 5. So if you got either or, you'd be getting a nice increase from your current pro.

Never had one.. Been happy with my PS4 Slim. I put a 2 TB harddrive in it and bought a 5 TB external harddrive and never could be happier. Games for days!
When I get mine I’m only getting the digital version. I hate disc as they always burn out the lasers fast with Blu-ray and when that happens you have useless games that are only good for cup holders. Digital always last way longer. I just wish the minimum internal storage was at least 2 TB in PS5 other than the less of 1 TB in PS5 right now and that won’t do when PS5 games are well over 100 gigs per game and the internal PS5 operating system and apps coming off internal storage as well. It doesn’t give ya much wiggle room for game storage with it’s internal storage right now and PS5 doesn’t allow external storage for ps5 games to be stored on a harddrive and only allow that for just ps4 games. That sucks! They better make a external 5 TB or larger harddrive made for PS5 only and allow us to store PS5 games on it cause as it is right now... It’s a console USELESS for buying lots of PS5 games if we can’t fit them all on it. Deleting and redownloading is ludicrous when millions have data limits on internet a month, Unlimited data usage isn’t allowed or available for everyone in this country or many have slow internet speeds and don’t want to wait all day or days to redownload a game and delete to play another and wash and repeat. That’s stupid. Just put enough internal storage in the damn console to begin with it’s not rocket science. How hard is this to do for console makers today I mean DAMN!

I miss watching Game Dave. Good to be back. Sony refusing a mostly full back catalog compatibility counts as a MASSIVE downside for me. Microsoft has provided support for multiple console generations, yet Sony couldn't be bothered to allow us to play PS1, PS2, and PS3 games. Sony is all too happy to charge you again to play the games on streaming or downloading. Sony's ignorance can be astounding.
Having said that, Xbox compatibility is far from perfect. Up until around the start of 2020, most of my original Xbox and Xbox 360 games would not play on my Xbox One X. When EB Games started selling old 360 games at AU$5, that's when I roughly tripled my 360 collection size - and I always checked the backwards compatibility list on my phone while browsing in store. Now I probably have ~50% of my 360 collection supported, but still well under 10% of my original Xbox collection. Just yesterday I tried to play my Xbox copy of XIII on my Xbox One X and, nope, not supported. MS is moving in the right direction, but they're going to need to do much better before their backwards compatibility support can be considered more than just a gimmick. Nobody can really replace their older Xboxes for now, but they can replace their PS1 and PS4 consoles, and possibly their PS2 console as well if lucky enough to have the original BC PS3* (*if the caps have been replaced so it doesn't die, but this model was never released in AU anyway AFAIK).
You should buy whatever you want, but this is about the clear problems the PS5 has, if you want the PS5 but don't want to be a "beta tester", the suggestion is to wait till the defect rates go down, Sony must fix the problems as soon as possible, the system was released in an embarrasing state.
Im waiting on the slim as it always comes out...got the PSOne, PS2 Slim, and both Ps3 slim and super slim and the ps4 slim, So as always I'll just wait lol not sure why they just don't bring it out sooner as they always do.

great overview of the system Dave. I will def be waiting a few years to pick one up. I totally here you if it could play Ps 1-5 games. That would have been a game changer for sure. I love PS3 and still haven't played so many games
I think people need to read the manual u think u know but u could be missing somthing and could lead u to damaging ur console..i see people not using the stand...they should because it will let the heat move out from the bottom
Hopefully other third party developers follow suit with black ops and go full out with the triggers

Sony refusing a mostly full back catalog compatibility counts as a MASSIVE downside for me. Microsoft has provided support for multiple console generations, yet Sony couldn't be bothered to allow us to play PS1, PS2, and PS3 games. Sony is all too happy to charge you again to play the games on streaming or downloading. Sony's ignorance can be astounding.
Agree. I've been a PlayStation guy since day 1 but the backwards compatibility on xbox is causing me to switch this gen
Having said that, Xbox compatibility is far from perfect. Up until around the start of 2020, most of my original Xbox and Xbox 360 games would not play on my Xbox One X. When EB Games started selling old 360 games at AU$5, that's when I roughly tripled my 360 collection size - and I always checked the backwards compatibility list on my phone while browsing in store. Now I probably have ~50% of my 360 collection supported, but still well under 10% of my original Xbox collection.
Just yesterday I tried to play my Xbox copy of XIII on my Xbox One X and, nope, not supported. MS is moving in the right direction, but they're going to need to do much better before their backwards compatibility support can be considered more than just a gimmick. Nobody can really replace their older Xboxes for now, but they can replace their PS1 and PS4 consoles, and possibly their PS2 console as well if lucky enough to have the original BC PS3* (*if the caps have been replaced so it doesn't die, but this model was never released in AU anyway AFAIK).
So does that mean I should buy the new Xbox
You should buy whatever you want, but this is about the clear problems the PS5 has, if you want the PS5 but don't want to be a "beta tester", the suggestion is to wait till the defect rates go down, Sony must fix the problems as soon as possible, the system was released in an embarrasing state.

Im waiting on the slim as it always comes out...got the PSOne, PS2 Slim, and both Ps3 slim and super slim and the ps4 slim, So as always I'll just wait lol not sure why they just don't bring it out sooner as they always do.
