I saw a post about sheds while scrolling through my Facebook feed today and I was convinced it was from the Jimmy Broadbent Punt Posting group until I stopped scrolling and saw that it was a legitimate non humourous post from my cousin.
Multi class would be great in career mode. Just need LMP cars. Have the player start from scratch and work their way up. For online it would be cool to see player progression tied into class of cars available. Introduction of car classes definitely opens up a lot of possibilities

I’ve only recently bought ACC and I must say for me it’s way easier to manage than the first game, I suck at sim race games but it didn’t take me long to get comfortable really pushing the cars on ACC
because the cars are built to be “realistic” the cars on acc are absolutely easier due to design. on the other hand ac cars in the base game no mods are “realistic” and true to how the cars perform when there not made to race multiple laps
I take longer to properly attack courses because of my corner exit speed. When I get it right, it's quick, but I tend to get in the throttle too early. I don't usually see it in your driving. But yeah, knowing a bad habit and changing that habit are different beasts altogether 😅
The Maserati is not the only car without TC, the 911 GT3 Cup car also has no traction control, although it technically isn't a GT3 car. But I think it has ABS, I'm not sure though
SRO America and Europe run GT3 and GT4 separately with the odd exception maybe but Britain and Asia run them together. Maybe they will add multiplayer when they do the British GT DLC? Also the Maserati running the past few years in Gt4 America was the only car without TC and ABS so I would imagine that rendering in ACC is accurate.

Without ABS and traction control you have to back up those corners, Jimmy. Slow in..fast out, I learned that in GPLegends and N2003. The earlier you braked in this race the faster you went.
I tried this game when it was on free trial for a weekend and absolutely loved it. Would love to have it plus the gt4 pack but I drive on my family’s computer with a controller and I don’t know if it’s worth investing in something so specialised and so “simmy” because I probably won’t be getting a wheel in a long time.
I'm playing on a gamepad and it's managable imo. You'll just need to experiment with settings a bit. That Maserati though, propably even more difficult on a gamepad without assists. I got a wheel, I'm just a bit lazy haha
Playing with a gamepad as well. With some practice it is definitely doable. I only have trouble with TC, I keep spinning out when accelerating because you miss some feeling that you would have with a wheel.

It's about the experience, lot's of hours behid the wheel. I have my g27 for 8 years know and I am not near as good as him but I clearly could see a lot of progress in my skills.

I got ACC on PS4 and I cannot figure out the steering settings at all for my wheel... It was oversteering and understeering and the steering lock itself was very small. I CBA fannying around trying to get it set up so I have given up for now at least.

As a single-player mainly, I'm a bit disappointed on the lack of multi-class AI races - thanks for mentioning that. I understand it's super hard to do, Raceroom's probably the only one who've come close to nailing it, but it is a bit of a downer for me. Still looking forward to giving the cars a go.

The GTR2 multi class racing problem was way more intense if you got LMP cars v GT and you would be yeeted by a passing LMP car, it was quite bad lol
