Yeah, I didn't want to draw comparisons with the AMS2 version, or the AC mod for that matter for obvious reasons. It's a tough car to drive quickly, that's for sure. It's the same FFB engine of course, so while there is a little more mechanical feel in some cars, it's still basically the same. And, of course, the same engine from the original AC.
@@ChrisHaye I was never convinced by this argument. David Parel said, the FFB in AC is far better than ACC and I agree. Alright ACC, now add LMPs and Le Mans & Nordschleife, and we can play this game for the next 10 years. (I know ACC is limiting itself to GT cars, but honestly, it would be the perfect package for endurance).
Sadly I think they are more likely add TCR cars first, since they are using the SRO license and need to portray the real life series that the SRO organise. They host TCR/GT3 races but nothing that features any kind of prototypes such at LMP2 or LMP3, so I don't think they'll be coming to ACC any time soon as much as I would like to see them too.
@dia98 I WOULD PAY 50 EUROS JUST FOR LE MANS AND NORDSCHLEIFE. 2 AMAZING CIRCUITS THAT IS NOT AVAILABLE IN ACC... LE MANS & NORDSCHLEIFE MUST COME TO ACC 🧨💯
As someone living in a country with RHD cars I wish I was good enough at sims to drive LHD. However the amount of times I have introduced myself to the walls at Bathurst when I thought I was ages away tells me I am not. Guess I'm running the Ginetta
It's a weird thing, I've gotten so used to LHD cars in sims, that RHD feels weird, even though I'm from the UK. I must admit, I do like the view that LHD cars afford on clockwise circuits. :D
So having been to a grand total of 1 race in person I can say that the camaro and mustang gt4 cars will leave your ears ringing as they pass by on the track nothing else that I saw at vir that day came close to the shear amount of noise that those things produced
Thanks Pete - honestly, I havn't had time to check. The career mode still starts with the Lambourghini test - and I didn't have time to skip past it to find out before the deadline hit! I'll try and do some digging!
Hi Chris thanks for these great video's. I have just got back into sims after many years and I am currently running ACC and Automobilista 2. One thing that is confusing is hit to performance between both sims though for me they are both great and thoroughly enjoyable and with the GT4 pack ACC is stunning. Is it just me or is ACC just much harder on GPU's? With ACC my RTX 2080 is massively hit with fans always spinning and a lot of heat generated but on AMS2 the complete opposite with the GPU running cool yet max settings. Am I missing a setting or something or is it just the demands of the Unreal 4 engine as someone has suggested?
Correct, the display is on the wheel. They actually added a HUD functionality in the last build so you can view the dash info even if the FOV (like mine) doesn't allow it to be in view. Same situation with the KTM.
Well, the GT4 Audi looks smaller than the GT3 Audi because of course it is smaller. Almost all GT3 have wide body kits (and often the lights are rearranged to keep proportions and look familiar), whereas GT4 are mostly stock body work with the occasional slight fender flares.
Pretty much maxed settings (on a 1080ti). The crispness comes from running the game at 4K, and capturing and uploading at 1440P. Would love to move to a full 4K workflow, but even this video required 250Gb of footage. :D
Great video can't wait to try out the gt4s. Just have one small bone to pick about the camaro though. In the video you suggested Camaro might be a little over challenge when it comes to cornering and that it prefers to go in a straight line and that is to be expected because it's a Camaro after all. I can only assume that idea is based on the production car and the "track" record (sorry) of American cars we're handling is concerned. That view of the Camaros is a bit outdated. Since 2017 the Camaro has been one of the fastest cornering sports cars in its segment. Particularly in the more performance-oriented trim levels. From an article on the subject in reference to the Nurburgring ; "The Camaro Z28 is now one of the 10 fastest production cars to ever loop the venerable German circuit, and there’s next to nothing south of $100,000 that has the legs or the wits to keep up with it." Some notable victims on that particular stretch a road are: - 2010 Porsche 911 GT 2 rs. ( was the fastest 911 Porsche ever made at that time). - Ferrari 488 GTB - Maserati MC12 race car
Still waiting for my Fanatec CSL Elite order to be processed and shipped (been 3-4 weeks now). But when I finally get it, at least I know what I'm doing first!

Great review Chris, 100% buy for me, just hope i can drag myself away from the amazing GTE cars in rfactor 2 plus AMS2 , we are in sim nirvana with these three sims.
very thorough video. Do you think ACC will ever have LMP/hypercars? Not on the road map to date as far as I know. Really hope ACC branches out to the states to give iracing a bit of competizione!
i only spent like 60 hours into acc with gt3 cars. ive given the game every chance i possibly could, even drove a rather successful 6 hour race in aor but me and the tire model of acc just never became friends. something about the way the balance of the acc gt3 car works just never clicked with me. with so many cars i ended up losing my rear without never ever properly understanding why or how. this has never happened to me in any other sim and ive pretty much played them all. got vacation now so i decided to buy the track and gt4 dlc for one last try and thankfully, i love the gt4 pack and probably will drive more acc now but gt4 exclusive. the gt4 cars dont have this issue i have with the gt3 cars at all, non existent. theyre just a pure joy to drive and ill probably drive them a lot more.
Hi Chris, do you think some of the GT4 cars is out place by their size and engine? I think the camaro, sls amg and maserati is a bit out of place for this series due to their size. I would envision the GT4 category entails cars that are light and smaller such as the Porsche Cayman, Alpine A110 etc. I also personally think that BMW should replace the M4 with an M2.

Thank you! Cheers!
What a great review! Top notch! :)
Your videos are THE BEST!
Glad you like them Anthony. Thanks, much appreciated :)
@@ChrisHaye I think I watched your entire sim racing setup series front to back 5 times at least!
Good video, mate! you are the MKBHD of the Sim Racing channels 🏆
Heh thanks. I love Marques' work, and am incredibly envious of his studio!
Excellent as always Chris
I wish ACC would offer open wheel and more tracks one day... keeping fingers crossed!!
More tracks are on the way with the British GT update. After that, who knows!
Best video explaining this pack. Can not wait to get my hand on it.
So excited! Hope they’re as exciting to drive as they are to watch. See you all at Oulton soon!
Yeah, very much looking forward to Oulton and Donington in particular. They'll both be ace with these cars.
Chris Haye Oulton Parks the only circuit I can reasonably get to so it always good to visit
Great overview of the GT4 pack! Can't wait to try these out! Obligatory #FelixtoProAm and looking forward to the league races!
Can't wait!
Nice video chris big work for this lol. Btw I hope they fix the bug that the quali time ends at 0:07 at not at 0:00
Thanks dude :)
Brother I just discovered your channel and am quite impressed by how professional and informative you, are while also being entertaining! Keep it up!
Is there a link to what wheel rotation to use with each car?? As per GT3, I'm sure they are all different in certain rotations
This might not be under the SRO
Dear Kunos, this is how you sell/reveal your product. Stunning! Top Job Chris
Heh, thanks Jose. :D
Does anybody know the steer lock angle for each of the cars by any chance??
Can’t wait for this to drop 🔥 ahhhh!!
In 2 days time people will completely forget about GT3s for a few weeks :D
@@ChrisHaye Totally agree! Looking forward to giving the m4 smashing :D
"What more could you want? And please don't say Nordschleife."
At this moment I had to scroll down and press a Like, and then I continued to watch. :)
Heh. I'm honestly bored of fielding that question ;)
"What more could you want"
nordsc.... oh
Great video production - the subtle touches like little section intros and time stamps tweak my OCD nipples lol
Thanks Dan. I know people are going to skip bits, so I might as well make life easier :D
13:20 It took me a couple of seconds to understand the joke, but I can't stop laughing now.
Jules N. I missed it the first time around lol
i think this gonna be more enjoyable than GT3 cars for many people, lots of close racing are coming, finally
So having been to a grand total of 1 race in person I can say that the camaro and mustang gt4 cars will leave your ears ringing as they pass by on the track nothing else that I saw at vir that day came close to the shear amount of noise that those things produced
Corvettes also bring the music!
I watched this review again and noticed quite a few times tyres not making contact with surface and floating above the track, even on smooth surfaces.
I like that custom liveries may be sort of supported.
Nice nod to the MC12
It's the first thing I checked when I loaded up the Maserati. :D
Watching almost a year later, content still amazing.
8:55 - You learn something new every day, I didn't know that the Astons used Mercedes engines
Yeah, the latest generation vantage uses the Merc lump. The previous model was an Aston engine, derived from a Jag design IIRC.
@@ChrisHaye feel kinda guilty being a brit, I should know this stuff as part of my heritage... lol ;)
Great video as always! Really enjoyed it
Looks rather nice!
Next DLC, I'd love GT3 or GT4 pack, either America or Asia, would give us a fair share of new tracks.
Best review on the web! Didn't hear mention of GT4 Career ?
Dude, did you just segue from a John Cusack reference into "Say Anything you like...".... I am dead.
@chris haye did you take a look at the Lotus?
The Alpine and the Maserati butter up my sweetroll.
underrated channel
Thanks dude :)
Hi, what about the Dashcam-View in the Alpine? Does it show anything, because the display is in the wheel?!
True. I think it's most noticeable with the Audi, at least for me.
What settings and graphics card is this footage from? Looks extremely crisp and clear.
Pretty much maxed settings (on a 1080ti). The crispness comes from running the game at 4K, and capturing and uploading at 1440P. Would love to move to a full 4K workflow, but even this video required 250Gb of footage. :D
Great video can't wait to try out the gt4s. Just have one small bone to pick about the camaro though. In the video you suggested Camaro might be a little over challenge when it comes to cornering and that it prefers to go in a straight line and that is to be expected because it's a Camaro after all. I can only assume that idea is based on the production car and the "track" record (sorry) of American cars we're handling is concerned. That view of the Camaros is a bit outdated. Since 2017 the Camaro has been one of the fastest cornering sports cars in its segment. Particularly in the more performance-oriented trim levels. From an article on the subject in reference to the Nurburgring ;
"The Camaro Z28 is now one of the 10 fastest production cars to ever loop the venerable German circuit, and there’s next to nothing south of $100,000 that has the legs or the wits to keep up with it."
Some notable victims on that particular stretch a road are:
- 2010 Porsche 911 GT 2 rs. ( was the fastest 911 Porsche ever made at that time).
- Ferrari 488 GTB
- Maserati MC12 race car
I love the sounds you use in your videos. Do you use free stock database ? if yes, can you share which ?
Still waiting for my Fanatec CSL Elite order to be processed and shipped (been 3-4 weeks now). But when I finally get it, at least I know what I'm doing first!
Ah man, that wait time sucks. I guess it's a COVID related delay?
@@ChrisHaye Yes unfortunately, it sounds like they're having a logistical bottleneck so many orders have been pushed out. Sadly my order was pushed out from June 24 to July 30, but in the mean time at least I have your content to keep me updated 👍
Thanks, I'm sold
Am I here for ACC? No, I don't own it.
Am I here for GT4? No, I had to google what its specs were.
Am I here for the usual quality content from Chris Haye? You bet.
great video sir.
Great review Chris, 100% buy for me, just hope i can drag myself away from the amazing GTE cars in rfactor 2 plus AMS2 , we are in sim nirvana with these three sims.
Yeah, it's been a good year for sim content so far, that's for sure! You wait, R3E will announce a massive update next week :D
Chris Haye: Comprehensive Review
Jimmy Broadbent: Hehe, Maserati goes wroaaar!
:D No bad feelings here, I enjoy both stiles :D
very thorough video. Do you think ACC will ever have LMP/hypercars? Not on the road map to date as far as I know. Really hope ACC branches out to the states to give iracing a bit of competizione!
I'd love to see Kunos get the WEC or IMSA licence for a follow up on the same engine. But for now, it's definitely limited to SRO series.
GT4: “Don’t nibble, just swallow”. Good description Chris.
Also I’m curious, did they forget the Mustang GT4?
This is base in the european championship as far as I know there are no mustangs there
Yeah, as x18BritishBillx18 mentione, the Stang wasn't in GT4 Europe during the 2019 season.
Chris Haye Ahhh, piss. I guess that means no MK5 Supra GT4 either
Watching for a second time...as the gt4 released for Xbox today💯
i only spent like 60 hours into acc with gt3 cars. ive given the game every chance i possibly could, even drove a rather successful 6 hour race in aor but me and the tire model of acc just never became friends. something about the way the balance of the acc gt3 car works just never clicked with me. with so many cars i ended up losing my rear without never ever properly understanding why or how. this has never happened to me in any other sim and ive pretty much played them all.
got vacation now so i decided to buy the track and gt4 dlc for one last try and thankfully, i love the gt4 pack and probably will drive more acc now but gt4 exclusive.
the gt4 cars dont have this issue i have with the gt3 cars at all, non existent. theyre just a pure joy to drive and ill probably drive them a lot more.
15:00 - That's the sound of FREEDOM on your ears.
I wanted to add an eagle screeching, but forgot. ;)
These cars on Bathurst might just be the most fun SA nightmare to have.
Are the GT3 cars’ chassis based on the stock one or is it a custom tubular one like in DTM?
