How to sew a zipper box pouch
型紙なしで作るボックスポーチの作り方
FINISHED SIZE
- About W:17cm x H:8.5cm x D:8cm ［ 6.7”x 3.2”x 3” ］
- - - - - - - -
MATERIALS
- Front fabric 28cm x 17 cm ［11" x 6.7"］(x2)
* if the fabric has no pattern or goes both way,
you need only one piece (28 x 33 cm) ［11" x 13”］
- Lining (same as front)
- Interfacing.
- 8cm［3”］ square fabric (x2) .
- Bias tape or piece of lining fabric
- 25 cm［10”］ zipper

材料:
- 表生地 28 x 17 cm (x2)
*柄に方向がない生地や無地を使う場合は、
切り替えず一枚布で出来ます [その場合は 28 x 33 cm]
- 内布 （表生地と同じくらい）
- 接着芯
- ８cm角の表生地 (x2) .
- バイアステープ または裏地の生地
- 25 cm ファスナー
動画の指定サイズで作ってもらうとバランスよくなるよう作っていますが、自由にお好きなサイズに変えてもお楽しみいただけます😊✨

Why do you say that I thought Korea has lots sewing machine.
Here in Egypt Korea is considered one of the most popular countries in manufacturing different kinds of machines
It is an expensive machine. Look for a used all metal vintage machine. Even if it doesn't have the speed of the Juki, it will serve you well.
You can order the sewing machine in internet. There are many of them in Korea.
You can use hot glue gun I also use.

Why not just cut it the same size as the lining ?

Hi, this is so the pattern faces up on each side. Otherwise, one side would have the pattern facing down and the other the pattern facing up. In some patterns this is not necessary because it won't change anything. In this case, one side would have the horses facing down and one side the horses facing up if she hadn't cut the fabric and sewn it the right way.

Anyone know what "weight" interfacing is used for this? I went to the linked page but it could not be translated into english. Thanks for the great tutorial!
I think the interfacing used was something like Pellon SF101. The outer fabric was upholstery-weight whilst the lining might have been simply cotton or quilting weight.

I’ve just made one of these and it turned out great. I used Pellon 901F fusible fleece with the outer fabric and a medium weight on the lining fabric. Hope this helps.
I noted on the video she was using VLIESLINE H250
She is using 'Vliesline H250'. see @ 1:47
just tried it, didn’t use the measures so... the width is more than the hight, but overall I'm proud :')

リクエストさせてもらいたいのですが、よくある高い化粧用のブラシ付き(パウダー、チーク、アイシャドウなど6-７本は入れられるコンパートメント)で、反面側がポーチの一部となっているブラシケース付きコスメ入れのポーチの作り方シェアしてもらえますか？買うと一万円ぐらいして超高いんですよね。手が出せないし一個買うのがやっとで。ブラシの部分はビニール生地になっていてパイピングの生地でビニール生地の周りが包んであります。なんであんなポーチが一万円するのか理解出来ないんですよね。本当高い…。高いし手が出せないし、持っているブラシにも合わせていつも自作したいと思ってましたが、全く良いレシピが無いのでリクエストしたいと思いました❣️
数多くの画像にテンション上がって先週はニードルブックとピンクッションのセットを作りました。😂 ブックのページも3枚ぐらいのフェルトで作りました。手縫針や刺繍針がすごい量なので手持ちの物全てさせるし凄く重宝してます。毛糸用のとじ針もいっぱい刺せるし持ち運び出来て凄く良いです！🥰 自分で言うのもなんですがすっごく可愛く出来たので、次は世界で有名な熊本や九州が名産のメイクブラシが清潔に運べるメイクブラシポーチもいいなあと！リクエスト宜しくお願いします!🙏🏻💜

Love how you show measurements in cm and inch! Lots of American seamstresses don't get that there are only 3 countries left in the world that use the imperial system. Given the size of the US I guess it's fair to state both. Good on ya!

This may be a silly question but why do you cut it back after you join the 2 outer pieces? I understand why you have 2 outer pieces (directional fabric). is it because you had already cut the linin interfacing to size?
