In this episode of Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time! A Lakitufo *light* ens the mood with exceptional *timing* Chugga declares a rather horrifying *pun* -ishment for *adult* -ery!
I know people hate when someone leaves several comments on a video, but this came to my mind watching the part where it was mentioned that this game was one of the darker ones. The theme of this game is threatening and gritty, and to achieve that to its fullest effect, PiT lost something Superstar saga had. Superstar Saga was goofy and overly animated. Every character's designs and expressions were over-the-top, even if it was just a Beanie or a character used for a scene or two/an enemy seen for only an area of a few rooms. Everything was dopey, funny, the architecture and landscape was depicted in warped and cartoony ways. Since, in this game, everything has to be more serious, none of those elements apply here. The way Characters move on the field and in battle seem stilted and stiff, the reaction of an enemy being hit is simply a flinch, and even the animation for a bro ridding himself of a status ailment seems to be toned down. You can see, as Emile pointed out last... occasion, that there are no funny animations for things like being unable to drill into the ground or anything like that. And even when the game tries to put some of the lightheartedness of its predecessor into it, as we saw in the room with the many funny faces on the large computation devices, it feels forced, fake and throws off the entire atmosphere, as a few screens later we see the life force of Toads, in the shape of Toads, being sucked through tubes to their doom. And that odd stiffness of characters and attempt to look serious and lighthearted at the same time have, to me, carried on into any Mario & Luigi game coming after it. Well, that's what I think. If anyone o' y'all has a different opinion, tell me and I'll gladly look into it.

the reason i stopped playing this game was because i could never beat the swiggler boss. i probably put hours into this game trying to beat this boss but i just couldn't beat it. after a year i picked the game up again and as soon as i went into the save file the game froze and same thing happened if i tried to make a new one, but when i saw your announcement video about this being the next play through on your channel i was pretty excited to be able to see the full game. also my birthday is nearly here so i might get this game for my birthday. thanks for taking the time to read my comment (sorry if it was long). and chugga keep making great videos!
Well the different names are there for a reason. Let's just say it's a Shroob-infested well known enemy. Like the Wiggler as normal, while the Shroob infested one as Swiggler. Baby Bowser stealing your Cobalt Shards really annoyed me. All that hard work to get them and then I was hoping Bowser's Castle had a boss too. Oh well.
When I had this game, I was incredibly young and was terrible at RPGs. I never learned the attack patterns of Swiggler, and I was never able to defeat this boss. So it's cool that Emile is LPing this now because I'll finally be able to see the rest of this game.
The word "episode" is in the title of every video Chugga! I have an idea! You can say..... last EPISODE! EDIT: I actually like the gag of coming up with a new word every episode. This was more of a joke :P

I know people hate when someone leaves several comments on a video, but this came to my mind watching the part where it was mentioned that this game was one of the darker ones.
The theme of this game is threatening and gritty, and to achieve that to its fullest effect, PiT lost something Superstar saga had. Superstar Saga was goofy and overly animated. Every character's designs and expressions were over-the-top, even if it was just a Beanie or a character used for a scene or two/an enemy seen for only an area of a few rooms. Everything was dopey, funny, the architecture and landscape was depicted in warped and cartoony ways.
Since, in this game, everything has to be more serious, none of those elements apply here. The way Characters move on the field and in battle seem stilted and stiff, the reaction of an enemy being hit is simply a flinch, and even the animation for a bro ridding himself of a status ailment seems to be toned down. You can see, as Emile pointed out last... occasion, that there are no funny animations for things like being unable to drill into the ground or anything like that. And even when the game tries to put some of the lightheartedness of its predecessor into it, as we saw in the room with the many funny faces on the large computation devices, it feels forced, fake and throws off the entire atmosphere, as a few screens later we see the life force of Toads, in the shape of Toads, being sucked through tubes to their doom.
And that odd stiffness of characters and attempt to look serious and lighthearted at the same time have, to me, carried on into any Mario & Luigi game coming after it.
Well, that's what I think. If anyone o' y'all has a different opinion, tell me and I'll gladly look into it.
I love coming home from work and getting to watch a new Chuggaa video. Life is good. :)

I've played through this game at least ten times and didn't know the pause trick, the toad fuel detail or the unused item from the last part. Reasons why chuggaa is the best :)

the reason i stopped playing this game was because i could never beat the swiggler boss. i probably put hours into this game trying to beat this boss but i just couldn't beat it. after a year i picked the game up again and as soon as i went into the save file the game froze and same thing happened if i tried to make a new one, but when i saw your announcement video about this being the next play through on your channel i was pretty excited to be able to see the full game. also my birthday is nearly here so i might get this game for my birthday.

Well the different names are there for a reason.
Let's just say it's a Shroob-infested well known enemy. Like the Wiggler as normal, while the Shroob infested one as Swiggler.
Baby Bowser stealing your Cobalt Shards really annoyed me. All that hard work to get them and then I was hoping Bowser's Castle had a boss too. Oh well.

When I had this game, I was incredibly young and was terrible at RPGs. I never learned the attack patterns of Swiggler, and I was never able to defeat this boss. So it's cool that Emile is LPing this now because I'll finally be able to see the rest of this game.
