Emile really doesn't get how paradoxes work. Divergent and Concurrent Timelines. That is the sort of time travel that is in this game. Where the Shroobs can invade in the past and destroy the world and conquer it while at the same time, the present being UnShroobified and peaceful. Where the past is connected to the future but because of the divergence of the Shroob invasion, the past with the Shroobs is no longer connected to the old future while still being connected to it by the events shared while the events it did not share causes the timeline that leads into Bowser's Inside Story while the old future of the uninvaded past still exists and is unaffected by the Shroob invasion that did not happen in it's past. Okay, putting it like that, Partners in Time ain't Paradoxical, it's just time travel with Parallel, Concurrent and Divergent timelines that thanks to the intervention fo the future gains a connection to the future that it is no longer temporary connected to thanks to The Shroob Invasion.
As if there was any "it" left to be lost. But he's the fun kind of crazy. Throwing out jokes a mile a minute and making the playthrough a joy to watch.
I always love these videos, I don't have to watch the entire Let's Play! I know, I really shouldn't dump on Chuggaa's LPs, but I never like the Mario and Luigi Let's Play. Maybe I'll revisit Superstar Saga when the remake comes out. :)
