Can't tell you how great it is to see you go through this process. Trying my hand at flash animation and it is really frustrating to hit a road block like having symbols mysteriously jumble unexpectedly after apply a classic tween. Im having issues. I have a character that doesnt show up till later in my video and I cant seem to get his lips syncing properly. Ill lip sync his head but when I put the character rig into the main time line the lip sync wont line up. Basically every time I put a key frame in for that character it starts the entire animation from the begining instead of where the audio should be at that point in time. Ill play around with it but I really could use some help if anyone knows...
JAZZA I LOVE YOU! I'm over here getting so frustrated because the audio is playing all the way through and when I pause and stop it won't continue the audio. Thank GOD you said to set it to stream. You should've said that at the beginning. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure this out.
I'm having a huge issue. I'm trying to reuse my graphics I used in one scene in another, but just replacing the lip syncing and audio. I went to copy the symbols but no matter what it alters the original copies as well. How can I fix this?
I am follow you for couple month, I am in collage study animation and I create my own character, my avatar and my project is to help the planet with animation...so I would like if you can help me with it, I did already my character or avatar now I am paralyzed with all the info I have, I don't know what to do to annimate it...

It's fine within the timeline but as soon as I preview it or export it - it goes do lally? Hey quick question. So I did all the frames inside the face graphic but how do i get the animation to play on the main time line? When I press Control + Enter on Scene 1 , nothing plays. Thank you
I keep having trouble with the audio. I have it set to "stream. It plays fine when I export it and when I put the clip in the editor. But when I upload to youtube the sync is off, and I have to go back to Flash and fix it each time. It's so annoying. I want to say it's youtube's fault.
I export it as an swf, and throw it into Swivel to convert it to an mp4. I don;t export it as an avi from Flash because it takes way too long to publish, and I still have the same problem with the audio.

have you tried exporting as swf file then convert to avi using something like movavi video converter. fixed things for me [as per jaza's advice in another vid]

I think that the only problem is that its not a set graphic. With tweening, you are moving something from one place to another but because the mouth and eyebrows are actually a changing picture, I don't think you can tween them. I could be wrong tho, that is just what seems to make sense to me.

When I go to download key frame caddy it says cannot open because I need flash file opener or organiser can anyone help me with this

Emmanuel Simone I realize this is an old comment but to fix this you need to add time to the main timeline not just inside the symbol
how do you do it for a character without teeth because a lot of mouth sound position require teeth

Did you check your audio quality in 'File - Publish Settings...'?

I used to CTRL+ALT+C and CTRL+ALT+V each frame I wanted to use in face animation, but it was more time consuming.

is there a way to use tweens to morph between the Mouth and Eyebrow positions?
I think that the only problem is that its not a set graphic. With tweening, you are moving something from one place to another but because the mouth and eyebrows are actually a changing picture, I don't think you can tween them. I could be wrong tho, that is just what seems to make sense to me.
I use shape tween between the different positions to make it smoother but it is a little tiring to make sure its right Digital Salt
