And of course the day I decide to record this pig the Fuel Filter light wants to come on. that's why I stopped shut it off. let it think about what it wants to do.

Sounds nice! From what I’ve heard a lot, these newer engines aren’t very renowned for their reliability due to factory emissions components (the EGR in this case). However, I also hear that BulletProofDiesel makes some robust replacements for them which should help a lot, so maybe that is not too much of a worry.
(Yes, I’m aware of the other options - I just prefer the legal route.)

The dt466e is still a hell of a lot more reliable than many new diesels including the new Cummins engines which have egr in addition to an SCR and def system which has a ton of weak components that aren’t reliable at all.

MaxxForce engines weren't sold until 2007 or 2008, this bus is an 05.

They’re basically the same thing but the Maxxforce has emissions reduction equipment.

The DT466 and the DT466E are the older sisters of the Maxxforce DT, only the Maxxforce DT has more emmisions and is newer.
