jj is also and insider; an excellent nba player who was still playing at a very high level before retiring only a year ago. It works well having them both together- i think pat bev without another player of that caliber on the show would have too much cred for any of the other analysts to disagee with him, which would send him into bev buly mode lol. He and jj are both a breath of fresh air in the "analyst" game.
