The new 2020 AMG CLA 35 features the new AMG-enhanced 2.0L inline-4 turbo engine that makes 302 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. CLA 35 AMG acceleration is 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds. The 2020 CLA 35 AMG exhaust sounds very muscular for a Mercedes-AMG entry. The CLA 35 is perfect with the new MBUX infotainment/media system. The Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 accelerates and drives beautifully thanks to the AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed transmission that allows for seamless transitions and rapid acceleration.

@@Southernheatlives haha nice to see someone else has the exact same tough decision, after strong thinking and deep diving I’m still definitely going with my future wife the 45, unfortunately I’ve tried so hard to find someone with the same around the city to get an in person look, but it’s such a uniquely pricey car of class that I still haven’t seen anyone over months, which is also encouraging me to go for it, having a very unique car, I’ll definitely get it before September next year
@@Southernheatlives my only negative is that the interior of newer Mercedes all generally look the same..it’s a bit of a bummer, so I customized my build with everything distinctly possible 😂, bringing the price to 74,100..while the ZL1 67,550
If you can afford GT53 you should absolutely go for it...don’t think twice
If you want the more performance type go for GT63S

what is the function of the humps next to the rear license plate? only that no larger license plate can be mounted? or is that the bar for your beer when you work on the exhaust?🤣 looks shitty. luckily, mine doesn't have to look like this

What are those two humps at the rear bumper beside the license plate? Is that styling or a crash protection feature?
Crash protection feature. It's a regulation in the USA if the license plate is located in the rear bumper it needs protection around it. So in case of a crash the license plate remains readable. The CLS has the same, it's an afterthought / add-on. The car was designed for Europe and modified for the USA

Would be nice if it had at least a v6 instead. That 4 cylinder sound doesn't match the looks of the car and amg badge at all. Guess that's what emission laws are doing to all cars now.

I doubt he’s lying. My new 3 series BMW (IN AMERICA) has speaker enhanced engine revving and acceleration as well. I know this for sure because I reprogrammed it to shut it off. It’s much quieter in the cab now but still sounds pretty decent outside of the car. The purpose of it is to make it feel more exhilarating to drive. Unfortunately for me I’ve driven cars 5 times the price with 3 times the power of my new BMW so the noise did nothing to enhance my driving experience and made it actually feel “fake”. Car needs to have at least 450 wheel horsepower for me to start to get any sort of excitement from driving it. Wish I didn’t have those luxuries growing up because many people would kill to have my car and I feel terrible that I don’t have much feeling about it :/ keep grinding guys, you’ll get what you dream of if it really means a lot to you and you’re willing to work hard for it.
@@knamon864 I've driven every single AMG you can think of in the last 6 months. This exhaust sound is actually patented sound through Mercedes Benz.

I think its the digital while metallic.
Only problem I have with the AMG 35s is the actual exhaust sound. It doesn't sound like a real AMG unfortunately and I think they could've done better on this one. The AMG 45s are way better when it comes to sound. Nevertheless these cars are a lot of fun to drive but don't expect too much.

BMW is more expensive to maintain than Mercedes-Benz. Why don’t you test drive both? Definitely consider the CLA 35 AMG.

Does it have the convertible sunroof
It has a regular sunroof but you can get one with a moonroof (larger glass) that covers almost the entire roof. Check out my A 35 AMG video to see the moonroof.
