Just watched this again after a year. First of all, I like the music, and you can still hear the bike, so it’s done well. Also, I have a 1980 gw interstate, which I’m thinking of selling. Watching this makes me think, cause it actually is a good bike. But turning it into this, is kind of astonishing. Could never do it myself, but I like seeing that it’s possible, and has actually been done.
@@akaSuperJimmy I'll check it out. Meantime I ordered a carb rebuild kit - gonna see how that goes before I do anything. I like the Goldwing, so much that I got a f6b - but it's the 1980 gw that I took cross country last year with no issues. Kind of amazing that a 40 yr old bike can do that.
Very well put together ! Love the look , but the handle bars ? , I think need to be fine tuned a hair huh ? All and all , "Caffeinated Cafe Rider" It's so outstanding of a bike. " Motorcycle " !
I had an 84 Aspencade and believe me, it was no slouch. It could handle the mountain roads of north Georgia with ease all while rocking out to Southern rock through the headset in my helmet.
LOL its funny, your the second person to ask that. I originally though that no one would watch the video if it was only wind and motor sounds. I guess I was wrong LOL. Maybe in the near future I'll make a ride vid with no music.
Dude , wanted to hear motorcycle sounds but it was difficult w/ that music on. I notice most videos people make think they need a soundtrack to make them valid. Not so.
It has all original cable and break lines. It was a bit of a task to get everything pushed in and looking as good as it dose without getting pinches. To be honest the way I had to reposition the throttle cables made the twist have no spring return. It works, and I'm use to it now but I hope some day to have new break lines made and shorter throttle cables. You should check out the walk around video I made you can see how even with repositioning stuff I still get cables sticking out in the front. I am also using all OEM levers and buttons.
Awesome bike ! But.. Please turn off the music ! We want to ear the engine sound !

@@mtguz23 they are so reliable it's crazy. I've seen them in the 100,000 miles and still trucking.

How was the install for the hand controls? Easy install and did you have to change any cables from the original setup. Any info would help
