When i saw the cassette player, i said (out loud) holy sh!t. You kids today have no idea the struggles that we had to endure just to listen to music. If it got hot in your car, the tapes were likely to warp. The worst was if/when the tape would get tangled up inside the player. You had to be gentle getting it out and hope you had a pencil handy. You older folks know what the pencil was for.

I got asked a few times where is my members only jacket. I cruised with some senior citizens and had a blast! Now I ride a 29 year old Suzuki Intruder.❤✌

I think I remember seeing the ad for this exact bike last year by a private seller. I thought to myself "I wander who will buy it"... glad it was you lol
That's a real nice '86 Aspencade Special Edition, which is a holdover copy in off-white/silver of the gold/brown '85 10th Anniversary Limited Edition GL1200, which the most expensive Honda every sold up till then at $10k. Honda fuel injection was first usedon the '84 cx650 Turbo, fuel injection and the LCD trip computer was unique to the '85 LTD and the '86 SE GL1200s. The fuel injection was not used on any other GL1200s, which, along with the low used prices, is what makes these bikes desirable - better power and no carbs to clog up when it sits over the winter. I have an '85 LTD with 116k that runs perfect. These bikes were assembled in the USA with Japan-built engines that go over 250k miles easy.

I plan to visit and buy from you guys one day when money’s better available for me and my wife to get a bike to ride together but I was so excited when I watched this video thinking it was new and I was soooo jumping at the fact to try to get this awesome bike but then I realized this must have been the only one video I missed from your channel amd it’s 8 months old wonk wonk wonk but hey I can dream for now and when I’m able I’m coming from Georgia to buy a bike from you guys just to have the experience and continue to do my part to help keep businesses like yours running by supporting it. Hope to see you guys soon ima continue to check for these awesome deals you pay forward
Lmao, this actually happened to me when buying my latest bike. Was so excited that I forgot the cash and it was Sunday, no banks open and no ATM would give such amounts. So glad the seller was willing to do PayPal.
That is so cool. I did 10,000 miles in 30 days across country and back in Aug. 1995 on a 1996 Gold Wing Special Edition. It was a trip of a lifetime. I actually fell asleep going across Texas on I-10. Thank God for enertia on an 800lb bike. Woke up in the median, immediately wide awake, and made it back on the interstate. This brings back memories for sure. Great thing you did for that guy! Awesome! As Always, May God Bless you and yours!
Dude had great taste in music. Jackel saw them live on a world record tour in Jacksonville in a mall parking lot.
Hardest working band period!
i worked with one of their guitarists when i lived in s.c..
It’s so great that you and your company give back to the customer 👍 I will remember that when I need a new bike...
The kid was the only one who had an idea of what they actually go for
so real talk you made me cry with this video... my pop sam loved his gold wings.. he had the same bike and color ... 3yrs before he passed he and i went to seattle him on a gold wing and me on my flht... he passed me at 105 with a smile and i never caught him... this was his last ride... thank you for doing this video...
"You meet the nicest people on a Honda"
That statement has held true in a staggering amount of the owners. There are nice riders on all bikes buy It's refreshing to see riders that don't have the need for an ego, not just Honda riders but if we all had less ego and respected Ppl for what there choice in motorcycles are then riding would be even more enjoyable Imo.

@@donniebaker5984 i mean if you compare them to most bikes yeah they are a little bit of a pain in the ass cause of the plastics but i mean compared to cars well yeah would work on a goldwing over any car sold after 2005.

I know the dude hopefully I see him riding around he’s from my neighborhood
Ahhhhh cool day hi for me
Feel good for him. Genuine guy.
Really nice of you guys to give away a nice bike, like this one. I’m happy for the guy who won it. I have become an addict of your videos, the quality and plot lines are superb. And now the confession, I have never ridden or owned a motorcycle but it’s always been a dream to find a dependable bike for running around town as well as into the outdoors. The catch I’m 69 and running out of time. For now your videos keep me inspired but who knows what can happen in the future.
Haha man, it seems every time something "bad" happens its just him forgetting to fill up with gas! Great videos, have a great day.

That is one nice Goldwing, I owned two Yamaha ventures when I rode a few years ago, yes the Honda has more goodies on it but I found that the V4 Yamaha was sportier which was my style of riding back then and was a slightly taller bike, however a good Goldie is a great bike thanks for the video.
Because 2 mirrors aren't enough 😂 no no this bike needs a dedicated makeup mirror hahaha
That was funny man good comment
But, with the mirror angled up like that how did they keep the coke from falling off back in the 80s?
Actually it had 5 a spotter mirror stuck to each left and right mirror = 4 plus the cutting board in the trunk
wow i love the view, i hope someday i can visit greetings from Indonesia
Nice sei wing. Fuel injected. One year only. It better get ya home because parts are scarce. For the fuel delivery.
Beautiful bike. I love my 87.
67k miles basic maintenamce one stator bylrevious owner.

I love his comment “so if we brought it to a pool party”🤣🤣
That seller is a good honest American gentleman. You don’t come across Guys likes these but when you do you end up with a machine that’s been cared for and frankly is a bargain.

It's nice to see other people running out of gas 😀 I just got my first motorcycle this summer a custom Yamaha XJ 750 1983 😎 and on my 5 ride it suddenly started sputtering and then stopped. I was sure it was serious until I remembered a TH-cam video about the first things to check 😂 Switched to the reserve tank and made it to the gas station 😎
im pretty sure the honda goldwing is the most reliable bike in the world plus you can pick them up cheap
I enjoyed the video I am a goldwing man I had to sell my bike because I had a stroke!!!! I miss the wind in my face and serenity that goes with the freedom of riding!!! Being a veteran and owning my goldwing was my way of letting all of the everyday stress go away
Never seen such a good gold wing now I want one
It took me a few weeks of searching on FB mktplace to find a cheap, running bike. I eventually found a Vulcan 800 for $1400. The skins were from 3 different bikes, and three different colors, it's missing rear turn signals, but the chrome was pristine and it runs great! Finding cheap, working bikes is not easy.
i would take the scooter right away:)
😂
I wanted to say that !
You were first, breh.

In the Eu there are scooters that do just 15 mph...that is painfull to ride

As long as you got the wind in your hair and gas in your tank, you're good.
I only rode a scooter once.

That was fun !
did you see how small it is??
I could kick myself for not seeing this the day it was posted, I also live just north of Detroit and I would've jumped in gear, grabbed my brother's trailer and jetted on my way in a heartbeat! Your a good man Sean. (BTW, I just missed out on an 86 Goldwing about the same color for 12-1500 dollars about two years ago) :(
I’ve got an old Honda magna v45 I’m gonna clean up after watching this
And sell it if it runs cause they got engineering issues that is why they stopped making them early..I was lucky and found the problem doing. a 600 mile service check as I noticed there was a huge amount of clearance in the rocker arm / cam followers..so as I should began to adjust the clearance to their proper 0.003 " exhaust and 0.002" intake then as I roll the engine to adjust the rest of the valve. I heard. this horrible clunk..it was the end of the rocker adjuster sliding off the edge of the valve stand if Honda made one they made them all that way and I had just bought the 2nd one we had sold and put it back up on the show room floor and got me a Harley that was just traded in. And afterwards things began to happen to those v45$ like the. Can chain towers would break off in side the top of the cylinder head and wrap the can chain around the crank busting the engine cases...there are way more horror stories that are real about Honda's than any urban hog show

Haha
To wind the tape back up. Lol
And of course it was always my favorite tapes that did it because I played them so much.
@@cmcc1418 Yup. 👌
@@cmcc1418 looking back at that comment, i feel like i should have explained to the kids what a pencil was.
Cracked the frame on my 85 GL trike right at the swingarm. Just found another identical bike to convert over with old rear end. The replacement bike is even the same gold and brown paint job! Save me a bunch not worrying about paint.

Never was a fan of Wings... But that Aspencade made me wish I could ride again... At least once. You really blessed that young man.
Those 1200 Aspencades were sweet. I set up quite a few new ones out of the crate back then. After initial start up it was best to decrease the thing so the cosmoline didn't bake on and stink up the motor. Fun times. Take me back to the 80's please. Was a way better time.
I just love those old Goldwing's. They were land yachts. I really do prefer them to the new ones, which are great, just a different experience.
I bought a 1982 Honda Goldwing GL1100 on a whim when I was 25. I rode it across the country solo knowing nothing about it. My dad "a harley rider" made me take a ton of tools and told me to call him when I break down. I never had an issue, other than a few people giving me stairs on that old bike. I got asked a few times where is my members only jacket. I cruised with some senior citizens and had a blast! Now I ride a 29 year old Suzuki Intruder.❤✌
I really miss my "87" Goldwing. Blessings brother
Thats awesome! I'm sure he will be very happy with that fantastic ride. That's a beautiful thing you do, makes me happy to see such generosity!
You guys are really cool! This was a very kind act that people should do everywhere. My hats off to you for sure!! Good job❤
His reaction is the best!!! Hope he loves his Goldwing. I love mine.
I even got a 2004 1700 roadstar Silverado I'll gladly give you my bike
I love gold wings…❤️
I don’t have one right now but around 1985 I purchased a 1977 GL 1000 Goldwing in My hometown of Mattoon Illinois…! I drove from Birmingham Alabama
Where I live now , straight through…! But for $1200 …! I certainly did not mind the drive….! It was all Black and it was loaded …! , as much as it could be in 1977…! I drove that gold wing with only changing the oil and a occasional tire, till I purchased my Harley new in 1994…! I still have my Harley…! You giving that bike away is one of the coolest things I have watched on TH-cam…! ❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
OMG that’s awesome! I’m in Florida and I got all excited and wrote down your number and then unpaused to see it’s gone to a very appreciative person 👍👏👏👏👏🥰 good job 👍
There is no better deal than an old goldwing. That guy got an amazing bike! Good job sean
I have an ‘85 Limited Edition with injection. Great bike, but heavy, especially noticeable at low speeds. I’ve put 40,000 kms on in four years, bike shows 106,000 kms. No leaks, no oil burned.
It's a good thing the other deals fell through. That Honda is beautiful. Definitely worth $2K
I think I remember seeing the ad for this exact bike last year by a private seller. I thought to myself "I wander who will buy it"... glad it was you lol
I love that Gold Wing, but in 1985 the Suzuki Cavalcade was actually more advanced, as far as features and technology.
I had an XS750 Special years ago. Rode it through college. Loved that bike. I wish you go that one... maybe next time.
Cool gold wing, though! Keep up the good work and good deeds!
Awesome of you to fo this bro and even more awesome to see how happy that young man was to finally get his dream bike..... God bless you both and stay safe 😇👌 im happy for you Ryan ride safe
I had an 86 sei identical to that. Rode it 4 years , put 44000 miles on it and never had one issue with it. The GL's have some problems just like other bikes but very few . They are bulletproof.
