Audrey is a selfish self serving woman. She wanted to move, Alf did not, she talked him into it and now because she does not want to, it all has to remain the same. Alf was more than happy to still be working and stay where he was but she pushed him into retiring and kept on and on at him and now that she see's the reality of being retired, she does not like it. How ignorant is she.
She hadn't really thought it through, had she. I hate that she always gets her way. She treated Alf like dirt, she was always one of my least favourite characters.
@@bsaunders5271, She use to be quite funny and nice at times when she first appeared but that was years ago ago. She has become even more selfish and horrible as time has go on. The more she gets, the more she wants.
@@H3len50 when Alf ate too much at Xmas and she thought he was dying, Audrey had a brief moment of self awareness in front of Gail, saying she knew how badly she had treated Alf and that she loved him. When she first appeared in the 70s I found her so annoying, she was selfish back then too, although prone to outbursts of great fun. The only difference I see in her nowadays, is she now has outrageous airs and graces because her husband has standing in the community.
That's what you get, when you marry a woman whose only claim to fame, is giving birth to two bastard children. Absolutely nothing to recommend her. Somehow, Alf got the bright idea to marry the clapped-out old slag, skint, dossing down at Gail's house. Now, she's Lady Muck. Looking down her nose.

In May 1995, the awful stringy-haired motormouth Tricia Armstrong gets a part-time job at the Corner Shop (when Maureen Holdsworth is ill) and she is seen knocking tins off shelves so they will have to be "marked down". Could this have been the tin-bashing story you remember? Marked down tinned food was the least of the Holdsworths' worries with Tricia at the helm, as her son Jamie stole and ate no end of stock without even leaving the premises.

For a great laugh, try putting play speed at 0 . 75 Its a hoot! They all sound like special needs people No disrespect to Special Needs persons whatsoever, but the characters sound really odd like they are all drunk Every nuance is exaggerated & prolonged which is so funny Esp Gail screeching in the cafe She sounds like a drunken soak Mave the Rave sounds utterly breathless & her high pitched twitter is quite tolerable I did reduce play speed even more down to 0 . O50 & it was indescribable! Even intake or exhalation of breath is sooooo exaggerated & Very looooonngggg.. Denise's laugh sounds like a demented loon Mike Baldwin sounds like a 5 year old taking to his pals But Gails voice is sooo very funny Cheers 🇬🇧👧 PS oh oh..lololol Please play at 0 .50 speed esp any scenes with Raquel, Maureen & Mavis... oh its sooo funny They sound like 6 yr olds, drunk & trying to put a school play on! 😆 Any actor with a high, fast voice is brilliant to hear on this reduced speed. Its also great to hear the exhalations & in takes of breath At such slowness & lets you hear Noises you wouldnt normally take notice of & the drawn out vowels & syllables of words we dont realise are being enunciated. Cheers 🇬🇧👧 PPS try speed 1.25 or 1.50 on fast speed & its still hilarious They all sound like neurotic Hyper Loonies! Gail sounds like a clockwork mouse thats been overwound Same with Raquel ! They are all on Pep pills & race around like people on the edge Lololol Ive had such fun with the ultra slow then uber fast speeds.. 🇬🇧👧
Thanks for the tip. It’s especially funny on 0.50 speed. They all sound permanently drunk! Certainly adds something to the entertainment value! Best not use the feature too much though, will take an eternity to get through the eps! Funny stuff though lol. Cheers!

TRAY TRAY
Vera is a truly horrid character
Why are Liz's skirts getting shorter lol.. also Brendan should of hung around more maybe he decided to leave to show because he wasn't there that long but got his own set. I'd love to know of he got sick in real
She has a good pair of pins on her, does Liz.
Brendan Scott (Milton Johns) is still alive at 84
I never took to his character tbh and that type of shop was ridiculous for where it was.
For a great laugh, try putting play speed at 0 . 75
Its a hoot!
They all sound like special needs people
No disrespect to Special Needs persons whatsoever, but the characters sound really odd like they are all drunk
Every nuance is exaggerated & prolonged which is so funny
Esp Gail screeching in the cafe
She sounds like a drunken soak
Mave the Rave sounds utterly breathless & her high pitched twitter is quite tolerable
I did reduce play speed even more down to 0 . O50 & it was indescribable!
Even intake or exhalation of breath is sooooo exaggerated &
Very looooonngggg..
Denise's laugh sounds like a demented loon
Mike Baldwin sounds like a 5 year old taking to his pals
But Gails voice is sooo very funny
Cheers
🇬🇧👧
PS oh oh..lololol
Please play at 0 .50 speed esp any scenes with Raquel, Maureen & Mavis... oh its sooo funny
They sound like 6 yr olds, drunk & trying to put a school play on! 😆
Any actor with a high, fast voice is brilliant to hear on this reduced speed.
Its also great to hear the exhalations & in takes of breath
At such slowness & lets you hear
Noises you wouldnt normally take notice of & the drawn out vowels & syllables of words we dont realise are being enunciated.
Cheers
🇬🇧👧
PPS try speed 1.25 or 1.50 on fast speed & its still hilarious
They all sound like neurotic
Hyper Loonies!
Gail sounds like a clockwork mouse thats been overwound
Same with Raquel !
They are all on Pep pills & race around like people on the edge
Lololol
Ive had such fun with the ultra slow then uber fast speeds..
🇬🇧👧
Thanks for the tip. It’s especially funny on 0.50 speed. They all sound permanently drunk! Certainly adds something to the entertainment value! Best not use the feature too much though, will take an eternity to get through the eps! Funny stuff though lol. Cheers!
Rita guilt tripping Angie re Jack is outrageous!! His choice
Low-rent Kevin learing and winking over the bar about Sally ... to Jack Duckworth! Ugh ...
TR7 The poor man's Ferrari.
Not sure about Amy Andy’s girlfriend maybe her acting wasn’t up to scratch she disappeared quickly
She had some sort of break down. Was dead a few years later
She was to old for him
Steve Mac Donald is a vile character, I hope he gets sent down when his case comes up. And I think Jim is well rid of him and the harpy Liz!
O
If got great legs why shouldn't she show them.none of her partners showed her the right amount of respect she or any great lady deserves.
Oh god. Does that crap work on anyone? I find that kind of simpering drivel repulsive
You have a hyphenated last name, never mind. That tells me everything
why can't audrey talk properly
Honestlah, some people......
