Danny Johnson, Am new to your channel and a new subscriber. I find your channel very informative. So, with that being said, I would like to ask your option on supercharging. My son and I bought matching 2003 Mach 1s and they are all original with low miles. We are intending to keep them that way and if we do customize them, I want to be able to return them to stock without leaving a mark. We were thinking about procharging them. The manufacturer of procharger said that they have a stage ll system for the stock Mach 1s. The system works with the stock applications and will not cause any ill effects to the engine. They also said that there will be no cutting on the car for install. (That was one of the things that I wanted to hear.) However, I don’t want to lose the hood scoop as a functional fixture of the car, after all it is a Mach 1. So, here are the questions, 1st is it safe as the company procharger says to use their system? Have you heard any bad issues with their system? 2nd If I go this route, do you know of any way to connect the procharger to the hood scoop? If so, where can I place an air filter at? I know I would have to modify something, but if it already exist, well……. there is no need to reinvent the wheel. Let me know what you think, and keep up the good work. Oh I almost forgot………..congratulations with your GT you bought, am glad you was able to get it. Thanks in advance, David Godfrey
David Godfrey Yes, the pro charger supercharger System would be a lot easier to install then to swap everything over to a positive displacement like the one on the 03/04 cobra. You will be safe as long as you keep the horse power level under 450 at the tires. With that set up, you would be able to retain the stock shaker, but probably not the intake system. I would also look into the Kenny Bell 2.1 L kit that was designed specifically for the Mach 1. They are harder to find because they are not made anymore, but they are an excellent kit to give instant power. I personally like The positive displacement supercharger over the centrifugal because it gives instant power. Either way, with stock engine internals, either supercharger will be more than enough for what you need on a stock engine
I am also new Danny. My question is what is the "box" called under the right fender? The hose with the white connector broke and I cant find a name to replace it
My father in law wrecked his mach 1 and thankfully we can put it back together. When I took the right fender off the hose with the white connector and busted off. For the life of me I cant find the name of it. Searching the numbers on the canister it came up with egr pressure

Silvr_3.7 They could go anywhere needed to make it line up. Sometimes there is overspray from the factory so you’ll just have to look around to see if you can tell where they were or where they need to go to make panels line up
Danny Johnson so there’s no for sure spot? There was two when I pulled the fender. I pulled the fender to look underneath. Didn’t know there were shims
I would check at the bottom where the fender mounts to the rocker panel. Do they have factory paint or are they aftermarket silver washers someone else used at one point?
Danny - you make it look so easy! Thanks for posting these types of how-to videos!
This fender is Super Secure for how easily it can dent.
2:37 You can also go through the inside of the door to get those bolts, you just need a few extensions

Is it hitting or scraping on the fender?
@@dannyjohnsonsgarage yes
@@aye.itsesco3137 You can try loosening up all the bolts and moving it around as seen in the video

To remove door from driver side door do you need to remove front fender ?
You may be able to access the bolts with the door open, but it’s very tight. It’s easier with the fender off

Michael Tapia I believe you’re talking about the 9C915 Evaporative emission canister purge valve
@@dannyjohnsonsgarage with the green and white connectors?

@@dannyjohnsonsgarage I just need the hoses/lines
Will same thing work for 2009?
It will be different how the front bumper mounts, but should be a similar process
