I worked in a postpartum unit and experienced a lot of pregnant tourist who come to US to give birth to anchor babies. We learned that some doctors are in cahoots .
They come with a visa which they’re temporary legally in the Country but when they go to the hospital their prenatal care and or give birth they say they’re living in USA with no documents. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We the tax payers pay for all that.

In those hard-working officers they are racist officers who think only white people are Americans citizens. I was interviewed by nice Mexican officer in LAX and it was almost like we know each other no problem at all and I had nothing to hide. There was a white officer there giving me a dirty look and I almost gave him the finger and cuss him out.

I grew up poor in a poor neighborhood. I feel nervous around cops/authorities when they aren't even talking to me. Meanwhile, people who are usually good at hiding a crime, are cool as cats. Being nervous isn't a definite sign of guilt.

The key is that the couple must have the money/insurance in order to actually cover the medical costs of said birth. To US authorities, coming to the US with the intention of giving birth on US soil is fine, but doing so on the US taxpayer dime is where the line gets drawn. It is the same with any medical issue while traveling. Traveling internationally in order to intentionally use the medical services of other countries is fine, but the involved governments just don't want "tourists" being a financial drain on their healthcare services.

I work in immigration and no. You cannot stay with your child, save exceptions like medical reasons that prevent the kid from leaving the US-and for that you have to file a petition with supporting evidence, and only allows you stay in the US a further 6mo. There’s no default citizenship from having an American child
14th Amendment needs to be changed and specify . More “blood right” policy vs. “birth right” The parents’ birth country should dictate birth right of children. If neither parent are citizen it should default to parents’ country of origin.

I was like, my dad's carotid artery pulses visually on the daily. It's been like the for the past 30 years. If that was assumption for guilt, my dad would be interrogated like no tomorrow. Luckily he hasn't. Edit: I've also worked in customer service and seen regular customers come in who don't seem suspicious at all and their carotid artery pulsate very similarly to my own father's. I don't think the carotid artery pulsating is a valuable source of evidence to determine guilt anymore. Maybe 10-20 years ago when society was more unknowing but not now.

We take care of a ton of people without citizenship. I work in a "community based health center", in the pediatric office and it's amazing how much Medicaid covers. Appointment fees, missed appointments, medications, free access to social workers and government programs, rides to get to and from the clinic, surgeries fees, referrals to specialists, dental appointments, vaccination fees, ect. I can't tell you how many people want us to "prescribe" vitamins and OTC medications (melatonin, aquaphor, hydrocortisone cream) so that Medicaid will cover the $10 expense.

It happened to me in Boston. Customs checked my luggage, xrayed all my canned goods 1 at a time, asked me questions regarding my health or medications. They did not find anything. Then the custom officer told me the reason why I got checked meticulously, because they noticed my hands/fingers shaking. I told them because I’m tired and hungry.

The first was born in the US in 2016. We payed more than 30k cash for the delivery. In Belgium, a non citizen paying full price would be 7-8k for the same. And it's Europe. Our second baby was born with the best team in the most expensive hospital in Brazil during the pandemic and it costed 5k. I came to the US 15 years back with a job offer in hand, still waiting for green card. You know why? Because illegal immigrants get a free pass ahead of legal immigrants.
Respect to these officers. They were just doing their job. About nine years ago, they stopped me for a routine check because of my name and being a green card holder it’s obvious they will stop you. They didn't ask many questions, but they did need to scan my information. It took about an hour, but they kept me updated. Every 20 minutes or so, they let me know they'd sent my info to immigration and were waiting for clearance. Finally, they welcomed me back into the country. Seeing a video like this about their job makes me appreciate them even more. Much respect! As a Muslim American citizen keep up the great work 😊

I travel a lot, and my experience informs me that US airports personnel are the worst. You are treated worse than cattle, by the rudest people. You are screamed at, looked at as if you were a criminal, even though you are elderly and a US citizen. I dread US airports, and feel nervous every time I come back home.

I just flew back to the Philippines on a flight that had layover in China. Well there was 2 Chinese couples that had 2 month olds born in America now the baby’s have US passports. The couple I sat next to told me they visited their friend that actually lives a couple blocks away from my house in San Bernardino. I am a combat Veteran US citizen brought my wife to America by applying for a fiancé visa. Took us 2 years, we waited and did it properly came in through port of entry, infiltrators are not doing it properly, cause they are up to no good. I served my Country got skin in the game. The rest that voted for all this are lame, should be labeled as traitors, and should shave their heads.

The key is that the couple must have the money/insurance in order to actually cover the medical costs of said birth. To US authorities, coming to the US with the intention of giving birth on US soil is fine, but doing so on the US taxpayer dime is where the line gets drawn.
It is the same with any medical issue while traveling. Traveling internationally in order to intentionally use the medical services of other countries is fine, but the involved governments just don't want "tourists" being a financial drain on their healthcare services.

I work in immigration and no. You cannot stay with your child, save exceptions like medical reasons that prevent the kid from leaving the US-and for that you have to file a petition with supporting evidence, and only allows you stay in the US a further 6mo. There’s no default citizenship from having an American child

Edit: I've also worked in customer service and seen regular customers come in who don't seem suspicious at all and their carotid artery pulsate very similarly to my own father's. We take care of a ton of people without citizenship. I work in a "community based health center", in the pediatric office and it's amazing how much Medicaid covers. Appointment fees, missed appointments, medications, free access to social workers and government programs, rides to get to and from the clinic, surgeries fees, referrals to specialists, dental appointments, vaccination fees, ect. I can't tell you how many people want us to "prescribe" vitamins and OTC medications (melatonin, aquaphor, hydrocortisone cream) so that Medicaid will cover the $10 expense.

It happened to me in Boston. Customs checked my luggage, xrayed all my canned goods 1 at a time, asked me questions regarding my health or medications. They did not find anything. Then the custom officer told me the reason why I got checked meticulously, because they noticed my hands/fingers shaking. I told them because I’m tired and hungry.

I'm Brazilian (married to a belgian and we live in Belgium) and we have two kids. The first was born in the US in 2016. We payed more than 30k cash for the delivery. In Belgium, a non citizen paying full price would be 7-8k for the same. And it's Europe. Our second baby was born with the best team in the most expensive hospital in Brazil during the pandemic and it costed 5k.
I lived in 9 countries so far, including the US and 7 european ones 1 in Asia, the prices of America are not seeing anywhere in the world. 😓

I've been to Europe and have had my luggage checked several times at airports. I was never nervous when my luggage was gone thru. That's because I didn't have anything to hide.

This is one of the most important parts that our founders put in the constitution. Just like the 2nd amendment, it has far reaching implications beyond anchor babies. It protects us from the government as well and makes citizenship inflexible, and that is a good thing for us all.

I came to the US 15 years back with a job offer in hand, still waiting for green card. You know why? Because illegal immigrants get a free pass ahead of legal immigrants.

Respect to these officers. They were just doing their job. About nine years ago, they stopped me for a routine check because of my name and being a green card holder it’s obvious they will stop you. They didn't ask many questions, but they did need to scan my information. It took about an hour, but they kept me updated. Every 20 minutes or so, they let me know they'd sent my info to immigration and were waiting for clearance. Finally, they welcomed me back into the country. Seeing a video like this about their job makes me appreciate them even more. Much respect! As a Muslim American citizen keep up the great work 😊

Birthright citizenship made sense when it was a great struggle, and sometimes the trial of a lifetime, to get to America. Now, it most certainly does not. I'm sure the founding fathers would agree with me.
Birth rights was created for the black slave's when slavery was abolished.
It was never intended for anyone else.
Mean while all the criminais are coming in freely through the border. This people who come the right way with a visa they are kind of wealthy. A USA visa and plane ticket to US is expensive and out of reach to a lot of people.
