    2010 dodge charger sxt. I changed both sensors and it didn't fix anything. I'm not sure if I have Module you are talking about since you have a truck but I am going to try it. Last hope. Gonna look for your other videos now though

    Hello! I can't seem to find out why my speed sensors are stuck! I can't unplug them from the wires! any tips on doing that? I know i have to push the little button to release it, but it's really hard to push! both of them! any ideas?

      I ran into the same thing on my truck and all the service trucks at my job. Sometimes I'll spray the connectors with either intake cleaner or mass air flow cleaner to clean the outside road grime off and free up the clips. Then I'll use a small flathead screwdriver to gently wiggle them apart after releasing the red safety tab. You can tap on the outer casing to break it free. Be careful because that plastic connector is brittle.

      @@svcruza Yes! You just confirmed my suspicions. I will keep trying to pull them off, hopefully not breaking them lol Thank you for the video and for the help!

      It is possible that replacement of these 2 sensors could do the trick ....it worked on my 01 dodge ram but not for this 07 that I have now. Please watch part 2 and you can see what happens when you dont address the issue in time like I did.

      Yes you can change the module without removing the transmission....it is possible....a little messy, but possible. I found many videos covering the change out of the modules. Just make sure yo get both filters and new transmission fluid.

      Just replaced those 2 sensors still doing same thing. Getting incorrect gear ratio 5 and 6th gear P0735 and P0729. Can't hear any crunching or grinding sounds like it's mechanical, truck is just flicking through gears like it's not sure what to do, it's worse when decelerating. @@svcruza

      Yes I did. And it is possible to change the module without dropping the transmission. Also let me know what you drive because I have a brand new module that I couldn't use because the transmission shop refused to use it because it's not a warranty part.

    • @travisj2695
      @travisj2695 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@svcruza@scottthomasbrownjr it's a shift solenoid. It's actually called a control solenoid pack for the Dodge ram. Some vehicles have several shift solenoids the ram has only 1. Anyway I replaced it yesterday and it didn't fix the problem.

      From personal experience, your problem is the actual shift module in the transmission. Dont procrastinate like I did because it costed me almost $6,000 in repairs. Watch part 2 to this video.

    • @svcruza
      @svcruza  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mine was $500 but the transmission shop wouldn't use the one I bought for the truck because they couldn't warranty it, so I had to pay for it again through them to have one that is warranted. I still have the one I bought brand new and trying to sell it to recoup my money on it and help someone else that is in the position I was in.

    • @svcruza
      @svcruza  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I know I do apologize for the delay but I'm currently working on part 2. Swapping out those two sensors helped it a little bit but that was not the solution it was the actual module itself that failed and it caused catastrophic damage to my transmission so if you run into this situation you need to take it to a transmission shop and go change out that module because that will destroy your transmission! Take it for me because it cost me $3,366 to get a new transmission rebuilt.

    Ive got an simmillar issure with my car . I drive an Range Rover Sport 2.7tdi 2007. I recently started having issues with my car . I was driving the car and while driving I accelerated to 30 mph after that it gets stuck in gear and wont go higher.
    So ive used the tester and there is 2 codes that are coming up . P0741 and P0732. Can you please help out do you think i would be able to fix it?

    • @svcruza
      @svcruza  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you're not tech savvy then you are about to hate what I'm going to tell you. Check your transmission fluid levels and the condition of the fluid. Check the color, it should be bright red. If it's dark and smells burnt, then you have bigger problems and need to take it in for service which is pricey! Next you can check all of the connections to the transmission and make sure there is no corrosion. Check for exposed wires and possible chew marks from mice.(it happens). It is very possible that the shift control module or shift solenoid inside the transmission on the valve body may be faulty like it is on my truck. I still need to change it but cant find the time. Possibly this weekend and I'll be able to make part 2 to help people out. You can replace the output/input speed sensor on the transmission and see of that helps. Let's just hope your torque converter isnt going out on you but just to be safe I'd check the fluid levels like I mentioned earlier. I hope this helps bud. Let me know what you find.

  • @travisjohnson4983
    @travisjohnson4983 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Is the module the valvebody ?

    • @svcruza
      @svcruza  ปีที่แล้ว

      No...you can remove the module without interference of the valve body. You just need to remove the bolts on the module from the valve body and you are good to go.

    • @svcruza
      @svcruza  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@chrismalone4491 actually no, you are having a different issue all together. My dad had a 05 LLY Silverado 2500HD and he put a tuner on that truck which made it run like a scalded ape! Holy shitballs kinda power, I know you know what I mean. He was able to go to position 5 on the fly but here is the problem and what I was told by the engineers of that tuner....they said the engine will always be able to overpower the stock allison transmission, so they said in order to get the most from that tuner on a stock transmission without hurting the transmission is to never go higher than position 3. Position 4 and 5 are for heavily modified transmissions designed to take the full unchained power of that LLY motor. So from personal experience, this is my expert advice. In the end, it's your tuner telling the engine to provide more power to transmission components that are NOT designed to take that kind of abuse which in turn the transmission power module tells the trucks computer to throw that code and check engine light telling the driver...."alright dude, knock off your shit that's enough!" 🤣
      I hope this helps you brother, have a fun and blessed day.
